SPEAKER_00 (01:18):
One day, two little kids named Raphael and Makai
were at home.
Now, they were playing somegames in their toy room.
Raphael had his favouritespaceship toy and he was flying
it around through the toy room.
Look at me, he said.
I'm flying it all over theplace.
I'm gonna fly it over towardsthe building blocks.

(01:39):
As he was flying over to thebuilding blocks, Makai was
following.
I'm coming too! It was very fun.
As they were flying around, theyheard a noise at the window.
That is not how a spaceshipflies.
They looked out, and sitting attheir window was a green alien.
Um, who who are you?
said Raphael.

(02:00):
Oh, my name is Beepow, saidBeepow.
Um, and what are you doing in inin the window of my toy room?
Well, I have been sent here tocollect you for a very, very
important mission.
Collect me, said Raphael.
Yes, and Mackay.
Hooray, said Macai.
They were very, very excited.

(02:21):
But what is this very importantmission?
said Raphael.
Well, I uh I can't tell you toomany of the details, but I need
you to come with me.
Hang on.
As they were sitting there, their mum just opened the door.
Um, boys, has Beepo arrived yet?
Did you know he was coming?
said Raphael.
Yeah, of course.

(02:43):
I was the one that put yournames down for this very
important mission.
Yes, hooray! The kids were soexcited.
Okay, before you come in thespaceship, I need you to put on
these very special spacesuits.
Beepo threw two little discstowards the kids, one to Makai
and one to Raphael.
Raphael was holding it, lookingat the disc.

(03:05):
Um, Beepo, this doesn't looklike a spacesuit.
Oh, have you not tried one ofthese ones before?
said Beepo.
Um, I haven't tried anyspacesuit before, said Raphael.
Makai quickly raced over to thetoy box and found a
funny-looking space helmet andpopped it on his head.
Look at me, said Mackay.
Ho ho, that is a fun-lookingspace helmet, but our suits are

(03:28):
a little bit different.
You better try these ones, saidBeepo.
So Makai took off the spacehelmet from their toy box, and
the boys held their discs.
Um, what do we do with it?
said Raphael.
Okay, now hold it up againstyour chest.
So the boys held the discagainst their chest.
Okay, now you have to saybippity buppity boo, said Beepo.

(03:51):
Um, okay, said Raphael.
Bippity buppity boo.
He, I tricked you, said Beepow.
What?
said Raphael.
That's not really what you haveto say.
Oh, I just thought it would befunny, said Beepow.
Well, what do we do?
You just press the button in themiddle of the disc.
So Raphael held it up againsthis chest and pressed the

(04:12):
button.
Beep! All of a sudden, a fullspacesuit appeared across his
entire body, including a helmetand everything.
This is incredible, saidRaphael.
Makai copied and did the same, and he got covered by his
spacesuit as well.
Okay, now that you are ready, can you press the purple button

(04:33):
on your wrist control pad?
said Beepot.
Um, Raphael looked at his arm.
There's so many buttons.
Um, Beepot, there's three purpleones.
Which one do I press?
said Raphael.
Um, I think the middle one, saidBeepo.
Uh okay, said Raphael.
And he pressed the middle purplebutton.

(04:55):
All of a sudden, his jetpackstarted blasting.
said Raphael.
Oh no, said Beepow.
Wrong button! Quick, press itagain, press it again.
As Raphael was flying around theroom, he quickly tried to press
the button on his wrist padagain.
Beep! Ugh, said Raphael.

(05:15):
I don't think it was that one.
Oh, it must definitely be thefirst one, then, said Beepho.
Raphael was very nervous.
He held up his arm and pressedthe purple button at the start.
When he pressed it, I don'tthink anything's happening, said
Raphael.
Uh-oh, said Beepow.

(05:36):
What do you mean?
Uh-oh, said Raphael.
With that, his suit began toswell and swell and swell, and
it puffed up like a giantmarshmallow.
What's happening?
said Raphael.
This is for planets with toomuch gravity.
It inflates the suit to keep yousafe.
Ooh, dear, quick, press itagain, press it again.
So Raphael pressed the buttonagain and his suit shrunk back

(05:59):
down to the right size.
Okay, it must be the one on theend, said Beepow.
Okay, said Raphael.
He held up his arm and pressedthe purple button on the end.

unknown (06:11):
Bop!

SPEAKER_00 (06:13):
What's happening?
said Raphael, as a loud sirenwas going off on his suit.
Oops, I think that is theemergency beacon.
Oh, what's what's happening?
I've tried all the purplebuttons, said Raphael.
Oh dear, said Beepo.
What?
said Raphael.
It's the green button.
So with that, Raphael pressedthe green button on his control

(06:35):
pad and he disappeared.
Oh, yay! That was the right one.
Okay, you turn, Makai.
Makai pressed the green buttonon his control pad and he
disappeared as well.
Okay, I best be going, saidBeepow, and he disappeared.
When they all reappeared, theywere on Beepot's spaceship.

(06:56):
How did we get here?
said Raphael.
Oh, that was the transportationbutton.
It transports you back to theship.
Hooray, said Beepow.
Oh, that makes sense.
Well, where are we going?
said Raphael.
Oh, let's just go and see.
Okay, you sit in this seat.
He sat Raphael down at a seatwith a steering wheel.

(07:18):
And you sit in this seat, hesaid to Mackay, and he sat Makai
down at one that had handlebars.
And I will kick back here andrelax, said Beepow, as he sat
down in a big comfy chair andput his hands behind his head.
What now?
said Raphael.
Press the flying button.
Raphael looked down at the giantcontrol pad with all the buttons
all over the spaceship.

(07:39):
There was one that looked like arocket blaster.
I hope it's this one, he said.
It is this one, said Beepho.
And I know for sure this time, because I have pressed it many
times.
Okay, said Raphael.
So he pressed the button and thespaceship took off.
As it did, it started blastingthrough space at an amazing

(08:01):
speed.
How do I know where I'm going?
said Raphael, holding onto thesteering wheel.
Oh, that steering wheel is justpretend.
It is so that you can pretend todo all the steering.
Oh, okay, okay, said Raphael.
So he held the steering wheeland started to turn from side to
side.
You're right, it doesn't doanything.
Makai was very excited too, ashe took hold of the handlebars

(08:24):
and began to turn.
No, don't turn that one, saidBeepo.
The spaceship turned sideways.
Straighten it up, yelled Beepo.
The spaceship swung to the otherside.
Wow.
Um, that is the one thatactually controls the ship, said
Beepow.
Macai was very nervous.
How do I know which way to go?

(08:45):
Just hold on, it will show youthe way to go.
Really?
said the kids.
Really, said Beepo.
And with that, Makai held ontothe handlebars, and he could
feel them starting to turn alittle bit this way, a little
bit this way, and as he guidedthe ship, all of a sudden, they
could see something appearing infront of them.
It was some kind of giantshimmering circle.

(09:08):
It was huge.
It was so big that it made theirspaceship look tiny.
The spaceship slowed down andstopped right in front of the
big, shiny, shimmering circle.
We are here, said Bebo.
We are where?
said Raphael.
We are at the brand new spaceportal.
The brand new space portal, saidthe kids.

(09:29):
What is it for?
Well, in space, things are avery, very long way apart.
So we build new space portalswhenever we can, so that we can
get from one area of space to adifferent area of space very,
very quickly.
Well, where does this one go?
said Raphael.
Well, it could go to one of afew locations.

(09:51):
So you don't know where it goes, said Makai.
No, and it is our job to findout.
Why is it our job to find out?
Because I am on the buildingcommittee for the very special
space portals.
And you didn't think to try andwork out where they went first.
Well, space portals can be alittle bit temperamental.

(10:14):
Sometimes they go where you wantthem to, and sometimes when
you're building them, they get abit of a mind of their own and
send you to different locations.
So it is my job to test themonce building has been
completed.
And look, it is complete.
The shiny shimmery circle isready to go, said Beepow.
So do we just drive through themiddle?

(10:34):
said Raphael.
Yes, we do, and we see where itgoes.
Are you ready?
said Beepow.
Um, I think so, said the boys.
Then let's go, said Beepho.
And with that, Raphael pressedthe flying button once more, and
the spaceship flew straight intothe shiny, shimmering circle.

(10:58):
As they flew through, all of asudden they appeared in a new
location.
Where are we, said Raphael?
What is this strange new land?
Where where hang on a second, isthat my house?
Hooray, said Beepow.
Hooray, said Raphael.
Yes, this is where it was meantto go! Hooray! So, you came all

(11:21):
the way from a newly constructedspace portal to my house to take
us back all the way to the spaceportal that's a long way away to
fly through it and see if itbrought us to our house?
Yes, I did, said Beepow.
Why didn't you just fly throughthe first time and see if it
brought you here?
Oh.

(11:41):
That would have been a very goodidea, said Beepo.
Oh dear, said the boys.
Oh yes, you are very clever.
Maybe I should make you part ofthe special council of people
that makes the new spaceportals.
The next one we are building isto a very strange new location,
said Beepo.
Where's it going?
said Raphael.
We don't know.

(12:02):
We're just gonna build one handand see! Do you want to help me
test that one?
I don't think so, said Raphael.
Oh ho ho ho ho, okay, said Bebo.
Well, I am glad that this oneworks because now we can use it
for its very special intendedpurpose.
What's the very special intendedpurpose?
said Raphael.
Well, I have some very specialtoys over at the other space

(12:23):
portal that I would like to sendto you, and I wanted to make
sure if I threw them through theportal that they would come to
your house.
Why didn't you just bring themto our house?
said Raphael.
That would have been a veryclever idea, said Beepow.
Oh dear, said Makai.
The boys laughed, and Beepow didtoo.
Okay, boys, I am going to takethe portal home.

(12:45):
Keep an eye out for the new toysthat I will be sending your way.
Okay, said the boys.
Thanks, Beepow.
This has been a really funadventure.
Okay, you can use the otherpurple button to use your
jetpacks and fly down to yourhouse.
Aw, that'll be fun, saidRaphael.
So the boys opened the top ofthe spaceship and both pressed

(13:05):
the jetpack button on theirflying suits.
They started flying through thesky doing flips and spins.
Thanks, Beepho! How do we returnthese spacesuits to you?
You don't need to return them, they are yours.
Have fun, said Beepow.
Hooray, said the boys.
And as they were flying around,Beepho flew his spaceship back

(13:27):
through the portal.
As the boys flew down to theground, they landed in their
front yard and started walkingin towards the house.
Just then, a gigantic playsetcame flying out of the sky and
landed in their front yard.
They looked at it.
It had some kind of strangelittle spaceship on a track that

(13:47):
went around and round incircles, kind of like a roller
coaster, but it had spins andtwirls to it as well.
There was some kind of strangeswing on the side, which, when
they tried it, didn't just swingback and forth.
It went back and forth and roundand round and then back and
forth again.
It was incredible.
It was the most amazingplayground they had ever seen.

(14:08):
They called up to the spaceportal.
Thanks, Beepow! Just then,Beep's head poked through the
portal.
You're welcome! I'll see youlater.
Bye-bye, said Beepow.
And with that, he disappeared.
Just then, their mum came out tothe front yard.
Wow, she said.
Where did this amazingplayground come from?
Well, said Raphael, I don'tthink you'd believe us even if

(14:31):
we told you.
And that is the end of thestory.
