He hasn't been to a classroombefore.
Yes, I did no learning ever.

Yes, I have working on mycountings.
That wasn't even normal English.

Um now, what do you think weshould do next?
Go home! Pimpim! We don't wantto go home.

(03:09):
The kids want to go home, they've had to listen to your
talk for the last few minutes.
Hey, pimp him! Do you think thatI should go home yet?

SPEAKER_01 (03:16):
No!

SPEAKER_05 (03:17):
One kid said yes.
Hang on, pimp him.
So, what do you think that weshould do?

SPEAKER_03 (03:24):

SPEAKER_05 (03:29):

the bag.
Teddy Winkle?

unknown (03:35):

SPEAKER_05 (03:36):
Put put Pimpim away and get out Teddy Winkle! No,
don't put Pimpim away becauseeverybody knows Pimp Imp is the
best! They know everybody knowsthat Pimpim is the best! But
Teddy Winkle's better! Hang on.
I think we'd we'd better letTeddy Winkle out.
He's been in the bag for thelast five shows because nobody

(03:56):
actually wanted him to come out.
Should we bring out TeddyWinkle?

unknown (04:01):
I love him! Do both.

SPEAKER_05 (04:03):

(04:25):
Okay.
One, two, three.
Who was better?
I think they definitely cheeredlouder for you, Teddy Winkle.
Hooray! No, they did not.
Now, these two are a little bitcheeky.
They like to have a bit of fun,but they also like to cause a
little bit of chaos.
So before they cause too muchtrouble, I'm sure you kids are

(04:46):
probably getting a bit hungry.
Are you getting hungry?
I'm hungry.
Well, you you're a puppet.
You don't actually eat things.
I eat puppet food.
What's puppet food?

SPEAKER_02 (04:57):
Oh, the cat.
The donkeys.

SPEAKER_05 (05:04):
Don't worry, kid.
I got no idea either.
Puppet food is anything thatcomes on a stick.
Pimpim! That is not puppet food.
I tried eating a tree the otherday.
No, that doesn't come on astick.
That has sticks.
Yes, and it was not very tasty.

(05:24):
He's nuts.
No, not nuts! A tree! It hadseeds.
Oh, pimp.
Okay.
I think I think we better putyou two away, and who thinks
that we should make up a story?
What do you reckon?
I'm pretty sure they said KateTeddy Winkle and don't worry
about a story.
Uh, is that what you said?

(05:47):
No, I'm pretty sure they allsaid Pimpim is one kid said that
they wasn't the best.
Who was it?
Well, I'm gonna put these twoaway and then why don't we make
up a story?
What do you reckon?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

(06:09):
no, no, no.
Come up here.
No, I don't want to come up, letme out.
No, no, no, stay, stay in thebag.
My goodness.
So, do you know do you know thefun thing about the stories that
we do for silly stories forkids?
Do you know every single one ofthose stories is made up on the

(06:32):
spot?
We don't do any planning orpreparation, we just start and
see what happens.
So, should we do that heretoday?
Yes! Are you ready?
Yes! They all start the sameway, and it goes.
One day, a whole bunch of kidswere hanging around at school.

(06:53):
Now, all the other kids had gonehome, but they were staying for
a very special afternoon.
They were gonna play some gamesand do all kinds of fun things,
and then they'd heard that therewas some guy that was going to
come tell some boring storieslater on that they had to sit
through before they were allowedto eat their food, but they knew
that dinner was sausages, sothat they were very, very

(07:14):
excited anyway.
But as the kids were playingtheir games around their school,
they'd started by playing somebasketball.
Now they were on the basketballcourts and they were playing
with the basketballs and theywere bouncing them around, and
as they were bouncing, all of asudden, pump! Um, my basketball

(07:34):
stopped bouncing.
What?
What do you mean your basketballstopped bouncing?
These are these are very bouncybasketballs.
Watch.
PONK! My basketball stoppedbouncing too.
What happened to the bouncinessof the bounce?
It can't have happened to all ofthem.
I'm sure this one will stillbounce.

(07:56):
Here, let me try, said one ofthe kids.
Picked it up and where did itgo?
I think I think that basketballtook the bounciness out of all

(08:16):
the other bo basketballs.
Yeah, it did.
Who said that?
One of the kids picked up one ofthe basketballs off the ground.
That guy up in the sky, he tookmy bounciness.
My basketball's talking to me,said one of the kids.
Can anybody else hear this?
I I heard it, said one of thekids.

(08:37):
Okay.
I'm not going crazy.
You're not going crazy.
He took my bounciness too.
He picked up the otherbasketball.
How did he take your bounciness?
Well, bounciness is somethingthat's very special.
It's uh deep inside your tummy.
Have you ever felt bouncinessinside your tummy?

(08:58):
I didn't like the time I feltbounciness inside my tummy
because it ended up being notvery nice.
Or not that kind of bouncinessinside your tummy, a different
kind of bounciness, which makesyou jump and fly around and all
those sorts of things.
Well, how did he take yourbounciness?
He tricked me.
He tricked you?
How did he trick you?
He said, Hey, can I borrow yourbounciness?

(09:20):
I'll give it back in a second,so I gave it to him and then
boing, he disappeared.
How are we going to get yourbounciness back?
Well, you've got to catch himfirst.
The kids were watching.
The basketball was still way upin the sky.
How are we going to catch it?
I got it, yelled one of the kidsas they ran underneath.
It bounced off his head and wentflying back into the sky.

(09:42):
I don't think that worked.
I think we're going to have todo something different.
They looked across and theyrealized that the spike ball
nets were over at the side.
Maybe, maybe we could use a netto catch him.
I got it, yelled one of the kidsrunning out with one of the
spike ball nets.
No, you're gonna take it off thespike ball ring first.

(10:03):
Well, at least we've got sometime to plan before it comes
back down.
So while the basketball was way, way, way up in the air, the kids
started to work together.
They started to collect all thenets off all the spike ball nets
and they started to tie themtogether.
Alright, so we're all gonna haveto work together.
So what we'll do is we'll allhold them out like this.
Can everybody show me your handslike this?

(10:25):
And so when it's coming down,we're gonna push our hands
forward as it lands so that itgoes really, really loose, and
hopefully we'll be able to catchhim.
So the kids stood in a circleand they watched.

(10:50):
Hang on, I can hear him!Everybody push your hands
forward! And as they pushedtheir hands forward, it got
caught in the net.
What do you think you're doing?
Let me go! Let me go! Let me go!said the basketball.
As the kids all looked forward, the basketball was trying very
hard to bounce.
He was trying to bounce as hardas he could, but the kids

(11:12):
quickly, ready, wrapped him upin the net.
So do the one arm over and thenthe other hand over.
Said the basketball.
Now, there was one question thatthe kids were really wondering.
They'd never heard theirbasketballs talk before.
Why were they talking all of asudden?

(11:35):
Just then, one of the kids sawsomething purple and fuzzy
running over towards theplayground.
What is that purple fuzzycreature over at the playground?
We better go investigate, saidthe kids.
So they made sure that they hadtied the net up very tightly so
that the super duper bouncybasketball could not get away.

(11:59):
And then they started to headover towards the playground.
I put a little bit over here anda little bit over there.
The purple fuzzy creature hadsome kind of strange paint that
he was putting all over theclimbing ropes on their
playground.
Um, excuse me, Mr.
Purple Fuzzy Monster, I am not amonster, said the purple fuzzy

(12:22):
creature.
I am a pimp im.
What's a pimp him?
said the kids.
I thought we made that clear.
I am a pimp im, said Pimpim.
Well, and anyway, did you doanything to our basketballs?
Hee hee, he said.
What does that mean?
says the kids.
Well, it means laughing and metrying not to tell you, said

(12:43):
Pimpim.
You're trying not to tell uswhat?
I'm trying not to tell you thatI used my special paint on the
basketballs and made them givethem their faces so that they
could swap their bouncy powers.
What?
said the kids.
Oh dear, I accidentally toldyou.
I better not tell you what I'vedone to the playground.
What have you done to theplayground?
I put more on the very specialplate all over the playground.
Pimpim! Oh dear, I told youagain, said Pimpim.

SPEAKER_00 (13:06):
I should probably stop talking, but I do not know

(14:11):
how to do that.

SPEAKER_05 (14:24):
I'm definitely not going to tell you about what
you're doing, said Pimpim, as heput his own hands over his mouth
to try and stop himself fromtalking.
Is he trying to stop himself?
said one of the kids.
I think he tried to say no.
Oh god, said Pimpim.
Oh dear, said the kids.
Let's go have a look at what'sgoing on with the playground.

(14:47):
As they got closer, the slidehad a smiley face.
Hi kids! Do you guys want tohave some fun on the slide?
said the slide.
Oh dear, the slide is talking, said one of the kids.
Yeah, I've always talked.
You have not, said the otherkids.
I have since about 20 secondsago, said the slide.

(15:09):
But slides aren't meant to talk.
Neither are basketballs, yelledout one of the basketballs from
over at the basketball court.
But do you have any specialpowers?
Well, said the slide.
I was talking to the swing and Iasked if I could borrow his
swinginess.
You asked if you could borrowthe swing's swinginess?

(15:32):
Yeah, it's really fun.
Do you guys want to try?
Um, said the kids.
Yes! yelled one of the kids ashe ran to the top of the
playground and started slidingdown the slide.
Watch this! Woo woo woo! saidthe slide.
As he was going down, the kidwas getting foot from one side
to the other side to the otherside, and then where'd he go?
yelled the kids.

(15:53):
Somebody grab the nets! The kidsraced over to grab the spike
ball nets, because one of thekids was way up in the sky.
Yippee! He said, getting higherand higher and higher until
uh-oh, he said, as he started tocome straight back down.

unknown (16:11):
BAH!

SPEAKER_05 (16:13):
Yelled the little kid as he was heading straight
back down towards the ground.
Do something! The kids wererunning to try and grab the
nets, but as they grabbed thenets, they're gonna let me free,
said the basketball.
Uh-oh.
We can't let the basketballfree.
What are we going to do?
But then another part of theplayground started to move.
The ropes on the climbing frameall detached themselves from the

(16:36):
climbing frame and started towiggle across like little Rope
Snakes! yelled one of the kids.
Kids were running everydirection away from the rope
snakes, but they zoomed out intothe middle of the playground
area, then they tied themselvestogether into They're making a
net, said the kids.

(16:57):
We need your help, called outthe ropes.
I think they need us.
Quick, let's get over there.
So all the kids quickly racedover and they went to pick up
the ropes.
Said one of the ropes.
Said the kids.
Are they real rope snakes?
Well, is there really such athing as a real rope snake?
said one of the other kids.

(17:17):
I'm still coming! said thelittle boy flying down from the
sky.
Quick, grab them! So everybodypicked up the ropes off the
ground.
We forgot to tell you, said theropes.
We need you to flip us over.
What?
How are we gonna flip you over?
You're a giant net.
Um, if everybody spins around intheir place, it might work.
So everyone agreed.

(17:39):
Are you ready to spin?
One, two, three.
They all spun around.
And when they stopped and facedback where they were facing,
they realized the net in theirhands was no longer made out of
rope snakes.
It was made out of Is this areally thin pillow?

(17:59):
Yelled one of the kids.
I don't know.
Somebody catch me, said thelittle boy, still coming down.
The kids all put their hands inand then they pulled them out to
hold it tight.
And as they did, poof, the boylanded right in the middle.
That was the best! I'm goingagain, he said as he ran back to

(18:20):
the top of the playground.
No, yelled the other kids.
Actually, can we go too?
Maybe if we all take it inturns, we can all have a turn.
So the kids split into groupsand they took it in turns to go
up around the playground, downthe slide, and then as a team,
they would work together tocatch and then swap.

(18:42):
And then keep going round overand over and over again.
It was the most fun on aplayground that any of them had
ever had.
Just then, some of the teacherscame down to the playground to
see what was going on.
Um, kids, why are you allholding some strange kind of

(19:02):
pillow-shaped rope net?
And why is everybody standing atthe top of the slide?
Well, said the kids, we don'tthink you'd believe us, even if
we A Somebody catch me! Even ifwe told you, and that is the end
of the story.
