Speaker 1 (00:05):
One day, four little girls named Holly, aubrey,
Brinley and Zali were all athome Now.
They had woken up early becausetoday was Mother's Day and they
were very excited.
They were getting everythingready for their mum Now.
They had lots of presents readyto go and they were starting to
work on breakfast.
They were all in the kitchentogether.

(00:25):
All right, said Holly, I'll getthe toast.
So she started to put the toastin the toaster.
Um, I'll get the butter to puton the toast, said Aubrey.
Um, okay, said Bryn, and I willget.
I don't really want toast.
How about I make the pancakes?
Said Brynley.
Brinley, we're doing eggs andtoast, not pancakes.

(00:46):
Um, well then, if we're doingeggs on toast, I will do the
croissants.
No, not croissants, eggs ontoast, said Holly.
Zali was in the corner laughingto herself because she was
enjoying all the playing as theywere cooking, though, all of a
sudden they heard a noiseoutside their house.
Hello, hello.

(01:08):
They went and looked at thewindow.
Um, pim Pim's here, said Aubrey.
Oh, what's he doing?
Said Holly.
I don't know, said Aubrey, I'lllet him in.
Aubrey went over to the doorand opened it up so that Pim Pim
could come inside.
He came bursting into thekitchen Help.
He said what's going on?
Pimpin?
Said Holly, I know what it is.

(01:29):
Said Brim, I think that hewants the pancakes as well.
What said Pimpin?
Never mind, said Holly.
What's going on, pimpin, I needyour help.
He said With.
What said Aubrey?
Um, my mummy, I can't find heranywhere.
I think she's gone.
What said the girls?
I know, can you please comehelp me, please, please, please,
please, please.

(01:50):
It's Mother's Day and I cannotfind my mummy.
Um, okay, said the girls.
We can definitely help you, hang on.
We just got to tell our mumfirst.
So the girls all raced intotheir mum's bedroom.
They took in some half-cookedtoast that was slightly buttered
and placed it on the bed nextto her.
Um, mum, here you go.
Happy Mother's Day.
Uh, we just gotta help Pimpinwith something.

(02:10):
We'll be back soon, yeah, andhopefully we'll bring pancakes,
said Bryn.
Their mum sat up.
What she said?
Pimpin needs our help, saidHolly.
Oh, okay, said their mum.
Well, you better go help him.
Okay, said Holly, we'll be backsoon and we'll do presents then
.
Okay, said their mum.
It's always good to help people.
She said yeah, said the girls, let's go, yes, let's go.

(02:31):
Said Pimpin, come on, come on,let's go.
He raced out the door very, very quickly and the girls all
ran along behind.
As they got outside, pimpin wasstanding there.
Um Pimpin, what is that thing?
The girls all pointed.
Pimpin was standing next tosome kind of strange looking box
with funny little bits on top.
Um, well, it is actually mytelephone boot-o-copter, a

(02:55):
telephone what-o-copter, saidHolly.
It was a telephone boot, butnobody really uses those that
much anymore.
So I got one and I modified itto be a helicopter so that we
can go everywhere very, veryfast, said Pimpin.
Oh okay, said the girls, comeon, everybody, get in.
So they all squished inside thefunny looking telephone booth.
Um, how do we fly, said Aubrey?

(03:17):
Well, said Pimpin, we use thetelephone.
You dial the number of thehouse that you want to go to and
then when you dial that number,it takes you there by the
helicopter.
Um, that sounds like fun.
Uh, I want to go to grandpa'shouse, said Brinley, and she
started dialing the numbers.
Brinley, said Holly, but it wastoo late.
Brinley had already punched alot of numbers.
But the trouble was thatBrinley didn't actually know the

(03:39):
phone number of her grandpa'shouse, and so, telephone a booth
, a copter took off into the air.
Where are we going, said holly.
Um, I don't know, said aubrey.
Me that said pim pim.
But this could be fun.
But pim pim, we're meant to belooking for your mom.
Oh yeah, I forgot.
Um, well, wherever we arrive,we will work it out.

(03:59):
Then we will go from there.
So the telephone telephone, aBoothacopter kept flying through
the air all the way until itcame down to land in somebody's
front yard.
When it landed, the man thatlived in the house came out to
the front yard with a big broom.
Hey, get off my lawn.
He said, swiping the broomtowards the kids.
Uh-oh, said Holly, we betterget out of here.
Quick, said Pimpin, press somemore numbers.

(04:21):
Dial the number to my house.
What's the number to your house, said Aubrey.
Um, I don't remember, saidPimpin.
What said the girls?
How did you plan on gettinghome?
Um, I don't really know.
I hadn't thought that far, butI knew your phone number.
Maybe we go back to your house.
Um, well, that's not going tohelp, said Aubrey.
Um, maybe, oh, I know TeddyWinkle's number.

(04:42):
Quick, punch it in, said Holly.
So as Pimpin was pressing thebuttons in the telephone booth,
the man with the broom wasstarting to hit the sides of the
telephone and booth-a-copter ashe did.
It sounded quite funny inside.
That tickles, said Brin.
What do you mean that tickles?
You can't feel that, I know, but I'm pretty sure it would
tickle broom.
It's not funny looking it's anormal broom.

(05:03):
Well, I like it, said Brinley.
Can I have it?
What said the man?
Very confused, by now Pim Pimhad finished pushing the numbers
to go to Teddy Winkle's houseand the telephono-boothicopter
lifted up into the air.
Sorry about your grass, saidAubrey.
The man looked, it didn't evenleave a mark.
I know, said Pim Pim, I madesure that the
Telephone-a-Boothicopter hasvery good landing gear.

(05:25):
As the Telephone-a-Boothicopterstarted flying back up into the
air, the kids all stopped tothink.
Now, said Holly, when we get toTeddy Winkle's house, how are
we going to get to your house totry and find your mum?
Well, said Pimpin.
Hopefully Teddy Winkle knows myphone number.
We'll have to see, said Aubrey.
Or said Brinley.
We could try some more randomphone numbers and who knows

(05:47):
where we'll end up.
Maybe your mum might be at um,what's the phone number for
Disneyland?
What said Holly?
Uh, I just think that she mightbe at Disneyland and we could
go there.
That could be fun.
Um, brinley, we're not going toDisneyland, we're trying to
find Pim Pim's mummy.
As they were talking, they couldstart to see Teddy Winkle's
house coming into view.
I see Teddy Winkle's house, let's all call out at him.

(06:10):
So they all decided to yell outthe side of the
telephone-a-boothicopter toTeddy Winkle who was in his
front yard watering his flowers.
Hey, teddy Winkle, thoseflowers are smelly.
Except when I say smelly, Imean they smell really good,
said Bim Bim.
Um, teddy Winkle called Holly.
Hi, what said Teddy Winklelooking up into the air?
What is that thing?

(06:31):
It's my telephone-a-bobooticopter, said Pimpim, as it
started to fly over towardsTeddy Winkle's yard.
Pimpim, don't land that on myflowers.
I don't really know how tocontrol the landing.
Pimpim, I love those flowers.
Don't let it land on the.
As it came down very, veryclose to the ground, it was
about to land on Teddy Winkle'sflowers.

(06:52):
Pimpim, there's got to be a wayto control this, said Holly.
I don't know, said Pimpin.
Aubrey had a quick thought.
She picked up the phone insidethe telephone-a-booth-a-copter.
She put it up to her ear andsaid uh, a bit sideways please.
There was a little voice insidethat said okay.
And as it did.
The telephone-a-booth-a-copterwent a little bit sideways and
landed on the grass.

(07:13):
Thank goodness, said TeddyWinkle, that was close.
See how pretty these flowers are.
I've been looking after themfor ages.
Yes, they are very pretty, saidPimpin.
Maybe we could put some magicdust on them that could make
them do dancing and singing.
Pimpin, no, please don't playwith my flowers.
Okay, hey, teddy Winkle, why didyou get your mummy for Mother's

(07:33):
Day?
Um, hey, Teddy Winkle, why didyou get your mummy for Mother's
Day?
Um, well, I made her a reallyyummy breakfast and I got her a
nice necklace that had a pictureof me in it and our love heart
next to it, and then in the sideit had some writing that said
Teddy Winkle is the best.
Um, but Teddy Winkle, that is aproblem.
Why is that a problem, bim Bim?
Because everybody knows thatTeddy Winkle isn't the best.

(07:55):
Pimpin is the best.
What said Teddy Winkle?
It's my mum.
My mum thinks I'm the best.
Oh, okay, I guess so.
Oh, yes, mums, do you know myphone number, said Pimpin.
Why do I need to know yourphone number, asked Teddy Winkle
.
Because we need to get to myhouse with the telephone and
boot the the cop-top because Icannot find my mummy anywhere.
Um, hang on, I'm pretty sure Iwrote it down somewhere, said

(08:17):
Teddy Winkle.
So the kids, teddy Winkle andPim Pim, all went inside Teddy
Winkle's house.
All right, I know that I wroteit on a purple piece of paper,
but I can't remember where I putthe purple piece of paper, said
Teddy Winkle.
Oh dear, said Pim Pim, we'llnever find my mummy, don't worry
.
Said Holly, we can all worktogether.
Yes, said Aubrey, we can do it.

(08:38):
Um, I can get a new piece ofpurple paper, said Brinley, and
I can write a new number andpretend that it's Pimpin's
mummy's number.
Would that work?
Um, no, said Teddy Winkle, looking very confused.
Oh, oh well, said Brin.
Okay, I guess I'll look for agreen piece of paper.
What, why green?
Oh sorry, uh, blue, no, notblue, purple.

(09:01):
Oh, okay, um, what does it say, said Brynley.
It says Pimpin's phone number, and then it's got some numbers
on it.
Uh, okay, I will find it,except I can't read.
Brynley, said Holly, why don'tyou just look for a purple piece
of paper?
Bring us anything that you findthat's purple.
Okay, said Brinley.
Meanwhile, everybody elsestarted looking through Teddy

(09:23):
Winkle's house to try and findPim Pim's phone number.
They started going from room toroom looking in drawers and on
desks and under tables.
I got something, said Brin, shebrought it in.
Um, that's the Chinese takeawaymenu.
Uh, okay, I will have somefried rice and two dim sims,
said Brynley.
What said Teddy Winkle?
No, we're looking for Pim Pim'sphone number.

(09:44):
Oh yeah, I forgot, said Brynley.
She walked off and kept lookingfor more things.
Um, is it this one?
Said Holly.
She pulled it out.
No, that's not the rightnumbers Over here.
Said Aubrey, I see some purple.
She pulled it out, but no, itwas not Pim Pim's phone number.
I got another one, said Bryn.
She brought it in.
Brynley, that one is in theshape of a duck.

(10:05):
That is not Pim Pim's number, but it has some numbers.
Yes, it has numbers for thelocal duck pond for when I go
duck watching, said Teddy Winkle, we need to find my phone
number, find the piece of paperthat says 0423914066.
Pim Pim said Holly, do you knowyour phone number?

(10:27):
Yes, I do know my phone number.
It is that.
So we need to find the piece ofpaper with that phone number on
it.
Pim Pim, if you know your phonenumber, we don't need to find a
piece of paper with that phonenumber on it.
Pim-pim, if you know your phonenumber, we don't need to find a
piece of paper.
Oh, yes, that is correct,hooray.
Okay, everybody in the funnyBootycopter.
Teddy Winkle, do you want tocome for a fly?
Um sure, it looks like fun, said Teddy Winkle.

(10:50):
So, pim-pim, teddy Winkle andthe girls all squished inside
the telephone aboothercopter.
It was very squishy this timeas they had too many people in
there.
Okay, said Brinley, I will pressthe numbers.
No, you won't, said Pim Pim, Iwatched you.
You were trying to press thenumbers for the Chinese takeaway

(11:10):
.
Um, yes, said Brinley, I stillfeel like some fried rice and
three dim sims and maybe somespring rolls.
Brinley said Holly, we actuallyneed to get to Pimpin's house so
that we can help him find hismummy.
Yes, said Aubrey, I'm sure shemisses him very much.
Um, yes, I'm sure she does too, because everybody knows that
Pimpin is the best.

(11:30):
Okay, I will.
Actually my fuzzy fingers makeit hard to press the buttons
sometimes.
Holly, can you press thebuttons?
Okay, said Holly.
So Pimpin told Holly the numbersand she pressed them one by one
.
As she did, theTelephone-A-Booth-A-Copter
started taking off into the air.
Okay, so when we get to myhouse, said Pimpin, we need to

(11:52):
find my mummy as quickly aspossible.
All right, said the kids, let'sdo it.
The Telephone-a-boothicopterkept flying through the air
until they could see Pimpim'shouse off in the distance.
We are almost there.
I can see my house.
As the Telephone-a-boothicopterstarted coming down, it was
about to land on Pimpim's roof.

(12:13):
Uh, oh, said Pimpim, don'tworry.
Uh, excuse me, can you go tothe side a bit so that we land
in the front yard?
Okay, came the voice frominside the telephone, and the
telephone, a Boothacopter, movedsideways and landed in the
front yard.
Okay, everybody, we need tofind my mummy.
And when you find her, makesure you do not tell her where I

(12:34):
am.
What said Holly?
What do you mean?
Well, um, so actually there's alittle bit more to the story.
Pim-pim came a voice.
Uh, quick, you find her andthen tell me where she is and I
will hide here.
Pim-pim said Holly, what isgoing on?
Um, well, it turns out that, um, pim-pim, I'm coming to find

(12:59):
you.
Pim-pim, what did you do, saidTeddy Winkle.
Well, I decided that I shouldtry and do something special for
my mummy for Mother's Day.
So I was going to make her abeautiful breakfast.
But it turns out that making abig mess is a lot easier than
making a beautiful breakfast.
You've destroyed the kitchen, said his mummy coming outside.

(13:21):
Oh dear, I will hide in thetelephone and booth-a-copter.
Quick press some buttons.
Um no, said Brinley.
I am on hold with the Chinesetakeaway place.
They're waiting to take myorder.
What said Pim-Pim?
Pim-pim's mother came out to thetelephone and booth-a-copter
Pim-Pim, are you in here?
No, pim-p here, said Pimpim.

(13:45):
He's in there, said TeddyWinkle.
Uh-oh, said Pimpim.
Pimpim's mummy came over to thetelephone and booth-a-copter.
Pimpim, come out here please.
Okay, said Pimpim.
He came out of the telephonebooth.
Pimpim, you made a big mess inthe kitchen.
What was going on?
Well, I really wanted to makeyou a very special Mother's Day
breakfast, said Pimpim, butthings got a little bit out of
hand.
I really wanted to do good, butI'd made a big mess and I

(14:07):
didn't want to make you upset onMother's Day.
Oh, pimpin, said his mummy.
Oh, I love you.
Thank you for trying.
That's the main thing.
Really, said Pimpin.
Really, said his mummy.
Hooray, said Pimpin.
And Pimpin ran out of thetelephone and booth-a-copter and
gave his mummy a very big hug.
Alright, said Holly.

(14:28):
Now that Pimpin's all sorted, webetter head home.
Hey, teddy Winkle, do you needus to drop you home as well?
Um, nah, I'll stay and helpPimpin turn this big mess into a
breakfast for his mummy.
We can do it together.
Oh, thank you so much, teddyWinkle.
You're welcome, said TeddyWinkle.
All right, said the girls.
At least I know our phonenumber, said Holly, to be able

(14:48):
to get back home.
Pim Pim, can we borrow theTelephone-A-Booth-A-Copter?
Sure, said Pim Pim, have fun.
So Holly, aubrey and Brinley allclimbed back into the
Telephone-A-Bicopter.
Bradley had finished trying toorder Chinese takeaway and they
said the wait was going to be atleast 45 minutes.
So the girls dialed in thenumber to go back to their house
and thetelephone-a-boothicopter flew

(15:10):
them all the way home.
When it landed in their frontyard and they climbed out and
walked inside, their mummy wassitting at the table waiting.
