Barely 2 years after Batman Forever won back the hearts of audiences of all ages, Director Joel Schumacher is back to sell some TOYS! Directly working with the toy companies a few months after Batman Forever hit theaters, Warner Brothers saw dollar signs. While this film did push the franchise over 1 billion dollars, it was universally panned by critics and audiences and shut out the Batman franchise from theaters for almost 8 years.
