Speaker 2 (00:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:02):
This is send seven World News in seven minutes. I'm
Stephen Devin Cenzi. Today is Friday, the twenty first of
November twenty twenty five. Starting in Europe today, Ukrainian President

(00:22):
Voladimir Zelenski is expected to talk to United States President
Donald Trump over the next few days about a proposed
piece deal written by the US and Russia without consultation
of Ukraine or European countries. According to various media sources,

(00:43):
including The New York Times and Axios, there are twenty
eight points to the proposed plan, including that Ukraine must
give up all of the Donetsk region, even parts that
Russia hasn't conquered, Ukraine having limits to the size of
its army, Ukraine not being able to hold long range weapons,

(01:05):
and Ukraine not being able to host foreign soldiers. Various
European diplomats have said that Ukraine and Europe must be
involved in peace talks. German Foreign Minister Johann Vadepoul said
yesterday that negotiations must involve Ukraine. French Foreign Minister Jean
Noel Barrot said yesterday that peace should not mean surrender.

(01:31):
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorski said yesterday that it should
not be the defender who has limits to the size
of its army, but the aggressor. European Union Foreign policy
chief Kayak Kalas said that Ukraine should not be made
to agree to lots of concessions when Russia is not

(01:52):
agreeing to any concessions.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
First. You know, we discussed that the pressure should be
on the aggressor. I mean, we haven't seen one single
concession from Russian side, and they are the ones who
have started this war. They are the ones who have
invade in another country. They are the ones who are
doing the killings of the civilians in Ukraine. So you
know they can also stuff this war immediately.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
United Kingdom Defense Secretary John Healey has said that a
Russian spy ship has used lasers to try to blind
British military pilots flying over the sea near the United Kingdom.
Heale said that the Russian ship, the Yantar, has entered
British waters various times recently, and said that if it

(02:40):
happened again, the UK would be ready.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
As I speak. A Russian spy ship, the Yantar, is
on the edge of the UK waters north of Scotland,
having entered the UK's wider waters over the last few weeks.
This is a vessel designed for gathering intelligence and mapping
our undersea cables. We deployed a Royal Navy frigate an

(03:05):
RAFP eight planes to monitor and track this vessel's every move,
during which the antar directed lasers that are pilots. That
Russian action is deeply dangerous. So our message to Russia
and to Putin is this, we see you, we know

(03:25):
what you're doing, and if the Jantar travels south this week,
we are ready.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
The United Kingdom government has also said that Chinese intelligence
officers have attempted to recruit thousands of people linked to
the British Parliament. In France, public prosecutors are investigating allegations
that Groc, the chatbot owned by billionaire Elon Musk, has

(03:53):
denied the Holocaust, something which is illegal in France. In Spain,
there were no official events yesterday to mark fifty years
since the death of Francisco Franco. During this year, the
Socialist government of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has held a
series of events to mark the anniversary. However, yesterday was

(04:17):
deliberately left without any to avoid accusations of celebrating Franco's death.
Franco died on the twentieth of November nineteen seventy five,
after ruling Spain after winning the Civil War in nineteen
thirty nine. Asia Israeli air strikes in Gaza killed thirty

(04:39):
three people yesterday, according to medical officials. This is one
of the deadliest Israeli attacks in Gaza since a ceasefire
was signed last month. Israel said that the attacks were
a response to Hamas shooting at Israeli soldiers. In South Korea,
two hundred and six xty seven people have been rescued

(05:02):
after a passenger ferry hit ground near the southwest of
the Korean peninsula. The police have said that they expect
that the crash was caused by staff negligence Americas. In Brazil,
there was a fire yesterday at the COP thirty climate

(05:23):
change conference in the city of Belem, pausing negotiations. Today
is the last official day of COP thirty and countries
are still attempting to agree on joint statements. In Cuba,
power cuts are getting more frequent and are longer. According
to Reuter's News agency. Cuba requires fuel from abroad to

(05:47):
power its power stations. However, two of its main sources,
Mexico and Venezuela, have both cut fuel exports to Cuba
recently Africa. In Nigeria, Namdi Kanu, the Biafran separatist leader,
has been sentenced to life in prison on terrorism charges.

(06:09):
The Indigenous People of biafraa group, wants to restore the
Republic of Biafra, which effectively existed from nineteen sixty seven
to nineteen seventy in southeastern Nigeria during a civil war.
Guinea Bissau has an election on Sunday. President Umaru Sisoko
Imbalo is running for a second term as president against

(06:33):
former president Jose Mario Vaz and ten other candidates. Opinion
polls are illegal in Guinea Bissau and Madagascar's new president
has displayed a giant emerald rock which has been found
in the presidential palace. Colonel Michael ranrian Arina took power

(06:55):
after a kudita last month during large anti government pros.
Ranriyann Arena has shown journalists the three hundred kilogram gemstone
and said that his team doesn't know why it was
in the palace, but he has suggested that it might
be sold, and that the money would be given to

(07:16):
the state. A massive thank you to all of the
send seven supporters. You are the reason this podcast exists.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
