I'm Stephen Devin Cenzi. Today is Friday, the twenty second
of August twenty twenty five. Starting in Asia today, Israel

(00:21):
is continuing a large offensive into Gaza City and has
said that it will take control of all of the city.
Israel has mobilized tens of thousands of reserve soldiers for
the operation. Earlier this week, Hamas offered to agree to
a ceasefire in which they would release half of the

(00:44):
living hostages that it is still keeping. However, Israel has
not agreed to this and said that it would continue
negotiations for the release of all hostages. According to an
investigation by The Guardian and some other media sources, a
classified Israeli database shows that Israeli military data has listed

eight thousand, nine hundred HAMAS members as being killed or
probably killed. The Guardian has compared this number to the
fifty three thousand deaths recorded by Gaza health officials to
suggest that eighty three percent of people killed in the
war are civilians. In Afghanistan, at least seventy eight people

have died after a bus crashed into a fuel truck.
According to hospital staff and Taliban officials. Chinese President Shijingping
visited Tibet yesterday to mark sixty years since Chinese rule
over Tibet was established. In India, Tibetans living in exile

The Kuruna Church is one of Sweden's largest wooden buildings
and was built between nineteen O nine, nineteen twelve because
of the expansion of the Kiruna mine. The whole building,
which weighs six hundred and seventy two tons, was lifted
onto wheels and very slowly moved to its new location
