September twenty twenty five. Starting in Europe today, Poland shot

down suspected Russian drones which entered its airspace yesterday morning.
This is the first time a NATO member has fired
during the war in Ukraine. Poland said that nineteen objects
had entered its airspace during a Russian air attack on

Ukraine and that it shot down those that might be
a threat. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the country
is quote the closest we have been to open conflict
since World War II, though there is quote no reason
to believe we're on the brink of war. A number

of NATO leaders have condemned the violation of Poland's airspace.
Russia has denied responsibility. Sweden plans to lower the age
of criminal responsibility. According to Prime Minister Off Christensen, the
