starting in Asia. In Israel andPalestine, a four day ceasefire has been

agreed between the Israeli government and Hamas. The ceasefire deal has agreed that fifty
Israeli hostages will be released by Hamasover the next four days, and in
return, Israel will release one hundredand fifty jailed Palestinians. Israel and Hamas

will also stop fighting for four daysto allow food, medicine, and fuel
supplies to enter Gaza. Israel hassaid that the ceasefire could be expended if
more hostages are released, with anexpectation that ten Israeli hostages would need to
be released per day. This trucewas mediated by Katar. Both Israel and

Hamas have said that they expect fightingwill continue and that this pause in fighting
does not mark the end of thewar. In Japan, technology company Sony
is facing a six point three billionpound mass lawsuit from the UK. Sony
Interactive Entertainment is the maker of thegaming console the PlayStation. This lawsuit is

on behalf of nearly nine million peoplewho bought games through the digital PlayStation store.
Sony has been accused of abusing itsdominant position and not allowing competition for
purchases. Sony lawyers have said thecase is flawed from start to finish and

malaria vaccine. The RTSs vaccine isbeing produced by British drugmaker Gskplc. More
than three hundred thousand doses of thevaccine have arrived in Cameroon. This comes

Organization, doctor Gedbresis, has saidthat this vaccine changes the course of public

of public health history. Using thisvaccine, in addition to existing tools to
prevent malaria, could save tens ofthousands of young lives each year, Malawi

according to the International Monetary Fund orIMF. Malawi is one of the world's
poorest countries and currently owes four billiondollars of external debt. Most of this
money is owed to China and India, which have both agreed to restructure the

dollar loane to Malawi last week.In Nigeria, at least seventeen people have
been killed after a truck crash onTuesday. The crash in Takalafia village injured

staff who wanted to leave the company, with hundreds of staff signing an open

between Argentina and Brazil saw Brazilian policeattacking fans with batons. Police intervened after
fighting broke out between the two setsof fans. Footage has emerged showing Brazilian
police rushing at Argentina fans as theythrow stadium seats and other objects. Argentinian

footballer Lionel Messi and members of theBrazil football team stated their concerns about the
violence, saying they were worried families, women and children. The football match
started after a thirty minute delay,with Argentina winning one nil. Europe Finland

is considering closing its entire border withRussia. Finnish Foreign Minister Alina Valtonen says
that more than six hundred immigrants withouttravel documents have illegally arrived in Finland via
Russia. These asylum seekers come froma number of countries in Africa and the
Middle East, such as Syria,Yemen and Somalia. Finland has accused Russia

of deliberately directing asylum seekers into Finland. Russia has denied these claims and said
they will of course respond if theborder is closed. And In the UK,
K pop band Black Pink have receivedOrder of the British Medals during a
meeting with King Charles the third.K pop or Korean pop has become increasingly

popular across the world in recent years. The four singers in all female band
Black Pink joined South Korean President Yunsukyolduring his state visit to the UK.
The band was the first K popgroup to headline a major UK music festival
