I'm Juliet Martin. Today is Tuesday, the twenty sixth of
August twenty twenty five, starting in Asia. In Palestine, at

least twenty people, including five journalists, have been killed in
an Israeli strike on a hospital. Nasair Hospital in the
Gaza Strip was struck yesterday. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
has said it was a tragic mishap. In a statement,

the Israel Defense Forces said it regrets any harm to
uninvolved individuals and does not target journalists as such. The
Palestinian Journalists Syndicate said the strikes represented an open war
against free media with the aim of terrorizing journalists. According

journalists have been killed by Israeli fire in Gaza since
October twenty twenty three. Last week, the United Nations declared
a famine in Gaza. Humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher said that
