I'm Juliet Martin and today is Tuesday, the twenty seventh
of August twenty twenty four. Starting in Asia. In Pakistan,

at least seventy three people have been killed in an
attack by militants on police stations, railway lines and highways
in Baloshistan. Baloshistan is a resource rich area of Pakistan.
Pakistan's Interior Minister, Mussen Nakvi said these attacks are a

well thought out plan to create anarchy in Pakistan. In Bangladesh,
at least twenty three people have died and one point
two four million family have been left stranded after severe flooding.
Five point seven million people are without food, clean water,

medicine and dry clothes. Vietnam's parliament has appointed new senior
officials and will elect a new president in October. In
a meeting yesterday, parliament appointed three new deputy prime ministers,
a new environment minister, and a new justice minister. Israel's

Lebanon is not sustainable. Tens of thousands of people have
been evacuated from their homes on both sides of the border.
Israeli government spokesperson David Menser said the current situation is

thirty people have been killed in a damn collapse. The
