In this episode, Drs. Nina, Meli, and Sheva explore the relationship between singlehood and happiness. Can you actually feel happy while navigating the world, sans relationship? They explore this topic, including cultivating a relationship with yourself, what keeps us from feeling happy or content, and they offer helpful and tangible tips while on the journey of self-love, deservingness and self-forgiveness. Additionally, they explore how a history of trauma and cultural considerations can impact the dating process as a single person. Have you experienced dating fatigue? Dating app burnout? They dish on how to get yourself out there in the dating world, without feeling overwhelmed. The three podcasters go way back to their graduate school days, and they self-reflect at the beginning of the episode about self-celebration and honoring creativity.  Dr. Sheva Assar is a licensed clinical psychologist in Southern California.
