🚨 It’s official! 🚨

16 years later, still a terrible title… and now, a podcast. 🍷

Today, September 23, the exact day Cougar Town first premiered back in 2009,  we’re launching Sip Happens: A Cougar Town Rewatch Podcast. Every week, we’ll be diving back into the Cul-de-Sac Crew’s world: the wine, the Penny Can, the Big Carl moments, and all the chaotic, heartfelt ridiculousness that made this show so good.

"Pilot"

Jules (Courteney Cox) is newly divorced, freshly 40, and trying to convince herself, and everyone else, that dating younger guys is empowering, not exhausting. With Ellie (Christa Miller) on sarcasm duty and Laurie (Busy Philipps) shouting encouragement like a human espresso shot, Jules re-enters the dating scene and immediately regrets it. Meanwhile, her teenage son Travis (Dan Byrd) just wants to exist without his mom’s dating profile haunting his social life. Bobby (Brian Van Holt), her ex-husband, swings by for comic relief and chaos. It's the start of something wild, wine-soaked, and deeply codependent, in the best way.

Whether you’re rewatching for the 10th time or finally giving this bad-title-good-show a proper binge, Sip Happens is your weekly dose of nostalgia, comedy, and community, best enjoyed with a very large glass of wine.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
