Join Sis and Big Pops for a fun, fun talk about one of the things we love most—Nerd Stuff. We discuss our fav bits of nerd news: Jennifer Lee stepped down from COO to direct/write Frozen 3, The Duffer Bros have a new series “The Boroughs” in the works, the Venom popcorn bucket, Galaxy Quest in 4k, Humble Bundles offered by Image, and Mark Wade says Krypto might be in the Superman Movie. Plus new media we’re excited about: Squid Games Season 2, Thunderbolts, Laura Croft: Tombraider anime, and Magic The Gathering animated series. For bingeing, Big Pops has been watching WandaVison, Agatha All Along, and Rings of Power Season 2. He had been reading The Sentry mini-series, Infamous Ironman, and Comics in the Ultimate Universe. Sis has watched Cheer and Sherlock and her dear, sweet husband play all the video games: Firewatch, A Short Hike, and Zelda TOK. And y’all know by now, has still been listening to teen vampire books. Then, Pops shared his pull list! This week he introduces us to Wonder Woman Issue 13 by DC; Uncanny X-Men Issue 2 by Marvel; as well as Geiger Issue 6 by Images. His new number 1 is Avengers Assemble Issue 1 of 5 by Marvel. His Book of the Week is World’s Finest Issue 31 by DC. We reviewed the excellent, most-perfect cartoon “Gravity Falls.” Originally recorded on 9/24/24.
