It's a movie all about how middle school is a shared trauma for us all and how y'all need to be good friends to one another or you might get the iconic Rowley "not a good friend" speech thrown in your face! Come along as we meet Greg Heffley, a possible future Patrick Bateman, who enters into middle school with a dream of becoming popular. He's got a best friend named Rowley Jefferson who actually IS the coolest kid in school because of how pure he is, but Greg is a jealous jerk and tries to change him. When they experience a friend break up, Greg has to try and survive middle school shenanigans on his own while also dealing with aggressive gym teachers, a pranking older brother, and getting beat up by women during wrestling - EVER HEAR OF TITLE IX!? We've got "cutest friends", secret freckles, and self-esteem videos that we wish were real, all wrapped up in this nostalgic classic! Released in 2010, it was based on the hit book series of the same name and stars Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Rachael Harris, Steve Zahn, Devon Bostick, and Chloë Grace Moretz.
