And honestly, the talent in this film is out of control! This movie may be called Fame, but it sure shows how rocky the road can be to get there. Released in 1980, it was written by Christopher Gore, directed by Alan Parker, and stars Irene Cara, Lee Curreri, Boyd Gaines, Paul McCrane, Laura Dean, Barry Miller, Maureen Teefy, and Gene Anthony Ray.
