Adam Mills is the current owner of coaching co-operative Source Endurance based in San Diego, California with coaches across the United States. Originally cutting his teeth with Carmichael Training Systems, one of the most prominent training systems in cycling, Adam returned to school and finished his graduate degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology.

Adam now puts his knowledge of science and how the body operates to harness the maximum potential possible in his athletes. Not only does Adam individually coach countless athletes, he has employed 7 other developing coaches under the Source Endurance Umbrella. With over 150 athletes turning to Source Endurance for their training, it's safe to say that Source Endurance has been quite successful since 2008 when Adam acquired the company.

In this episode we talk about the effects of placebo on athletic performance, the science behind VO2 testing and what athletes would benefit from chasing down this crucial data.

Source Endurance has coached many successful athletes including the likes of Alex Hoehn, Cory Williams, Justin Williams, Whitney Alison, and others.

We hope you enjoyed this conversation with Adam as much as we did!
