Rachel and Meighan were childhood friends until a vicious swarm of bees attacked them in the woods. Meighan never forgave Rachel for leaving her there, and for the eye she lost in the attack. Meighan, now grown and back in town to promote her newest novel, decides to finally confront Rachel about that day. About what Rachel refuses to remember.
