Alan Alexander Milne, better known as Winnie the Pooh author A.A. Milne, wrote a book of poems intended to be from the viewpoint of a young person, such as Christopher Robin.
‘Spring Morning’ was published in 1924. It was featured in that poetry book called When We Were Very Young.
This particular story comes from an unnamed child asking the same question again and again, one might imagine it is young Christopher Robin.
