In this episode I break down what coaching is and isn’t and who might benefit from working with a coach.
As many of you know, I first started my ayearofslowcooking.com website as a New Year’s Resolution.
I like goals.
I like knowing where I’m going and the steps I need to take to get there.
I started my website because I wanted to find a legitimate way to make money from home so I could be a stay-at-home mom.
I loved the lifestyle that I was able to create for myself. I wrote in the early mornings when my children were still asleep and had plenty of time during the day to volunteer in their classrooms and visit with my grandparents.

16: Matching Your Identity with Integrity
I love helping listeners embark upon their own journey to Slow Down, and live the life they’ve always dreamt about: one filled with peace, purpose, and abundance.
I understand how you’re feeling when you are rushing around trying to do “all the things,” always playing catch up and finding time to get things done.
I know because I’m a mom too.
It’s okay to stop and breathe. My philosophy isn’t about cramming more and more into an already over-packed schedule, instead I offer realistic tips and plans to get things done quickly and efficiently so you can do things you want to do.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage
Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
