On December 2nd, 2010, the body of Phoebe Handsjuk was found in the trash room of her luxury apartment building in Melbourne, Australia, after having fallen 12 stories down the building’s narrow trash chute. Phoebe survived the initial fall, but the trash compactor at the bottom of the chute almost fully severed her right foot, causing her to bleed out while struggling to escape the trash room.
What events in Phoebe’s life led to this tragic incident, and how did Phoebe end up falling 12 stories inside the claustrophobic trash chute? Did Phoebe decide to take her own life? Was it just a freak accident? Or did something more sinister occur in this affluent Australian neighborhood
