the boys come face to face with Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
So again, oh, we can't say.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Well, it's not that we can't say it, but somebody
could come back later and be like, well, these white
guys on a podcast are just saying it. Do you
know what I'm saying?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
That would be one I'd be willing to fight.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Okay, we could fight that.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
That's I mean, that's even in the in the video game.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
I will take all the time to fight that.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Okay. Well, the coonan Friends have reassembled and the whole
auditions for another new member of Iron following Iron Maiden's
retirement and mit Berry Crunch's sudden disappearance. So the episode
begins with Jimmy Volmer fast pass auditioning and it's ultimately
inducted into their team. And then later in the episode,

(02:31):

Friends are planning to launch a superhero franchise, starting with
an original Netflix series for their Coon and Friends alter egos. However,
they are slandered with fake news spread online through Facebook
that damages their reputation. So let's go ahead, We'll jump

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Fast Pass.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Fast Pass.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Okay, okay, thank you fast Pass. I like it. What
do you guys think? We definitely don't have anyone with
superhuman speed in our franchise.

Speaker 6 (04:00):
What makes you feel qualified to be part of our
cinematic universe? Well, besides being super faced, I also have
a good attitude and flexibility with my schedule.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
WI that pass. Welcome to Cunean face. You are about
to make a shit note of.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Money put in friends.

Speaker 10 (04:22):
Franchise.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
All right, So, as we mentioned there, Jimmy becomes part
of the fast Pass crew. You good scoop, all right?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Yeah, it's just still kind of coming in the news.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
All right for those who are, you know, maybe unaware
and you're looking at Scoop going, did you get into
a fight with Mark Zuckerberg? That could have possibly been
That's what it looks like.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
He got into the fire with him stairs completely nice, stupid.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
It's not so bad?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Is that so bad? Is that's so bad? That's so bad?

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, I fell, hit my head, got a concussion, broke
my nose, my toe.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Got some got some gorgeous road rash going on.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah, buddy, that's what happens when you go running with
the dogs. Who let the dogs out? All right, So
here's there, here's their plan for the Netflix series. So
we've got the franchise plan now in phase one, we're

(05:35):
gonna have the Coon on Netflix with Super Craig Man
of Craig The Human Kite, Coon and Super Craig Mysterion,
which is gonna be Netflix series Coon versus Super Craig
with fast Pass Fox series Coon and Friends won tool
Shed the animated series The Human Kite Movie. We can't
see behind Cartman, but there's something else there. Uh, then

(05:56):
we maybe it's Coon and Friends too, like Part one
Part two, because then the top of Face Too, There's
Coon and Friends to Armageddon, Rise of Captain Diabatees Fast
Passes versus Misquito direct a video, Young Coon meets Young
Professor Chaos. Then they begin the prequels. Mosquito Tomorrow is Yesterday.

(06:16):
Little Super Craig gets to Beyond Cartoon Network Fast Pass
forward to the Pass Tupperware movie, Tool Shed Saves Coon
Injured a Tupperware cameo only, and Coon and Friends United
three with Mysterion, followed by Phase three Super Craig three,
The Earth Explodes Fast Pass two, The Earth Is Okay again,

(06:38):
Coon and Friends Civil War, Super Greg Times a Wonder
Cheek for the Japanese market, Fast Pass versus Mysterion, kun
Ya Amigos for Latin America only, Professor Chaos Live at Cochello, Coonland,
a nots Berry Farm, a knots Erry Farm in Asia,
and finally final Coon in Friends Movie intro a check.

(07:02):
So that is their series.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
That looks exactly like the Marvel that's exactly know right, like.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
It's a full it's a full what you call it
of uh of what we call yeah parody of the
first three franchises. I'm trying to share a Wayne, I.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
See, I see. Okay, so the one behind Cartmen is
just Coonan Friends United.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Yeah, and then Mysterion season two Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Right, okay, So here.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
We go versus Fast Past, followed by an origin movie
about Mosquito.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Oh boy, I get my own origin movie. That's bad.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
It's in fase too that we will finally introduced Tupperware,
our black superhero like an Ace in the home.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Well wait, how come we got to start off with
a Netlix series?

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Can't we just go right in the movies? Netflix is
starving for new shows right now. To anything people picture,
we need to strike while the iron's hot. Later in
phase three we can finally get to Civil Wars where we.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Were all fans.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
Hot stream. You guys, we have a big problem. What
is it, super Craig.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
Somebody's messing with our Facebook page. They're spreading all these
lines and saying we like bird the American flag and
pat each other's mouth. Someone is systematically targeting our Facebook
followers and feeding them this information. Who would deliberately use
Facebook in such a horribly reckless way?

Speaker 11 (08:37):
Professor Ko, you're not looking at boobies again, are you?

Speaker 5 (08:48):
And not looking at bobies?

Speaker 3 (08:56):
No?

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Dad, I'm not looking at boobies. Goodness. All right, so
next here, let's take a look here do we're next day?
Are at school here with Butters? The boys is they
know they kind of have an idea.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
We hey, Falies, Butters, are you using Facebook to fuck
with our superhero franchise?

Speaker 5 (09:15):
M nolpe.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Butters Butters, Yes, Felis, dude, listen, we don't have time
for this right now. Netflix is buying any show that
people pitch them. We have a real shot at starting
our franchise, and you are a part of that franchise plan.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
Okay, we have movies planned for the bad guy.

Speaker 6 (09:34):
You need that Suicide Squad, Yes, suicide is glad suck Butters.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
People thinking it's true, And keep in mind this is
before we're twenty one and then much better Suicide Squad.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
With John Cena with John Cena, Yeah, dude, black bomb,
they were. They were really good to get in that movie.
Uh So, Butter's continues.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Right to be on Facebook, and sometimes that's gonna cause
a little kid. Yes, got to get to Clay.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Dude, what a dick.

Speaker 6 (10:18):
We don't find a way to stop him. We're never
gonna make any money.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
You guess, Hey, what's up Joe Janner? Joe's in the house.
Were coming everyone?

Speaker 7 (10:28):
I know you were all sharned.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
Sarah and I are about what's happening to our children.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
So here we go. Now the parents are all sitting
down having a meeting.

Speaker 12 (10:37):
I just can't believe that children in our town are
dressing up in hero costumes and peeing in each other's mouths.

Speaker 7 (10:43):
And you are these kids?

Speaker 8 (10:44):
Does anyone know they're wearing capes and forcing objects into
their own rectal cavities? Buy we were shocked to read
that a young African American boy is wearing tupperware and
defecating on girls while they sleep.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
What if those kids are hanging out with our kids?
You know what? I think the problem is Facebook? Facebook?
How so?

Speaker 12 (11:04):
Well, look, we all know there's a lot of mixing
of truth and fiction that's been on Facebook lately, and
children lack the cognitive ability to determine what's true and
what isn't on Facebook. That's why we now have young
kids dressing up in costumes, eating poop, and having sex
with antelopes in our town.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Maybe we did, butters, Butters really went to work here, dude.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
That is a total cell phone right there too, because
the the children can't understand blah blah blah, and they're
being easily influenced. Literally just called themselves out. And if
I say, and I swear to God, I could go
on to the news tonight and say it's called boothing,

(11:49):
and parents would think every child in America is boofing.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah, it's called teasing, all right. So you guys remember
Circuit City.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Dude, my dad used to go there all the time
when when I was way younger, right, shut out going
with my dad.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Those where services, state of the art.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Services, state of the art. Well, so, of course, if
you're not aware, Circuit City shut down about ten fifteen
years ago, so they left all these buildings around. Some
buildings have been you know, remade what you can see,
which was an old circuit city. But in South Park, Colorado,
they have not done anything with that building. So Butters

(12:36):
decides to build his own layer there.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Circuit cities used to be cool, right, I look pretty sweet?

Speaker 9 (12:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (12:47):
Who are you? What do you want? I'm sure about
the job? Oh are you ad him? Well, come on in.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
I'd like he's kind of dressed like Magneto here with
the Sioux and he's got his shiny top helmet. You
know what I mean. Look what's on the calendar for October.
Chaos all over.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
You see what we do.

Speaker 6 (13:12):
He was utilized Facebook not rely just guait cares. But
you're actually plus it.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
You'll find me.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
I was very reasonable and I'm working on getting full
of health and gentil for olimployees.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Here's your company uniform.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
You see what I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
You know, Butters does a really good job at building businesses.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 13 (13:31):
Do you want to make the money, because that was
the first thing he went after for the Kissing Company too,
was health and dental If I remember correctly.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
That is correct. But he was able to get them
some loan loans and for housing and medical dental and
uh yeah he was a and then he passed off
his pimp nage back to the ladies. Right yeah, so Butters,
uh definitely knows how to navigate himself around business.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Is the sounds chaos machine Facebook was designed to do.
I need money from Facebook form I think content in
order to pay Facebook to promote my big storage.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
And that's we're rolling nigger every day.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Look how big this is. He's got like a whole
thing that's all foiled up, all these people working for him,
like a what are those places called it? A farm?
I guess you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And the funny thing like a work
ranch and stuff. And the funny thing is like even
the name of the faction still has that little bit
of Butter's cuteness to it, Like calling them the Chaos
Kids just sounds so wholesome and and you know, kitty, yeah,

(14:49):
we're the kids.

Speaker 9 (14:51):
Yeah yeah, no, like you know, if it were a
child version of Doctor Jube, which I'm sure just is
working on.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Well, they read, they read, God damn it, the word
I was just looking for. They re they took the
old circuit city sign and remade it to say chaos.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Yeah, retro fitted, retro fit appropriated it, reappropriated.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
No, I forgot the word. It's fine.

Speaker 6 (15:25):
Can I have your attention please? We had a new
agent of chaos.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Please reconstructed book.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Speaking, you can pick this work speaks.

Speaker 6 (15:34):
Madam just writing horrible things about people are presenting his
reality on Facebook. All right, don't forget we had a
chaos quart again. Let's really let's see that.

Speaker 7 (15:49):
Could everyone hear me on the boat?

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Okay, So this is what we were talking about the beginning
of the review. So, because the town is concerned about Facebook,
they decide to invite Mark zucker to South Park, Colorado.
Oh boy, so Mark zucker Mark Zuckerberger seeking provides insight

(16:11):
on the matter during his speech, though he does not
address people's concern and insteads annoys them by pretending to
deflect their attempts to block him. Yeah, good stuff, good
stuff here.

Speaker 7 (16:25):
Okay, we're gonna get started here.

Speaker 8 (16:27):
You'll have a lot of questions, So without further ado,
let me introduce Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker 7 (16:33):
Thanks for coming, mister Zuckerberg.

Speaker 10 (16:34):
Thank you. It is a great honor to be here
amongst all of you.

Speaker 7 (16:38):
For those few who don't know, should you tell us
who you are?

Speaker 14 (16:41):
I am the founder and chairman of Facebook, but I
also have a style that is completely unplockable.

Speaker 7 (16:47):
Okay, we'll let him speak and then we'll open the
floor to see.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Oh snap, we gotta pause here, ladies and gentlemen. For
the first time ever on SMB A South Park Review,
we got a supersticker shout out to Revamp Wrestling for
sending us first dollar ever.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
So is that a looney? I know it's not a
tuney because it's not too.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Whatever it is. Thank you, revamped. We appreciate you. You're
the first one to do so, which proves where mom does.
So we can take superstickers now and set up memberships
for the pepes.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
We're making that mother fucking money.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Making that mother fucking money now.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Money, mooney money.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Anyway, we appreciate your revamp. Thanks for jumping in, and
thanks for doing that. You didn't have to do that,
but you did, and we appreciate you. Let's get back
to Mark Zuckerberg and his style.

Speaker 14 (17:55):
Right, all right, everyone here wants to see my style.
But first, what I'll need is a volunteer. Yes you, sir,
mister Zuckerberg.

Speaker 8 (18:02):
Facebook has become a tool for some to disrupt our
country and our community.

Speaker 10 (18:07):
You say these things like they are my fault, and
yet they are not.

Speaker 8 (18:11):
Well, you did create a platform with a monetary incentive
for people to spread misinformation.

Speaker 10 (18:18):
Now I see you're trying to use your style over mind.
Now you trying to block me beauty. Now you've learned
that you cannot block me. Yes, yes, what is your question?

Speaker 7 (18:31):
How are we supposed to keep our.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Wilson Aubrey. Yeah, it's us your heroes. Cuning friends. We're
at just wondering why you stopped following us.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
On Instagram because you victimized innocent people and poop and
little girl's mouth.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
Cuning friends, not Harveywine's. Facebook says it's true, but it's
not true. But Facebook says it's true.

Speaker 6 (19:05):
Okay, but it's not true, and you need to have
your own fucking brander design ship bears out.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
God, damn it. Let's just face it.

Speaker 6 (19:13):
We're never gonna have a superhero franchas it's so unfair.
Come on, Felis, we can't let Butters win. Forget it,
fast Pass. The world hates us now, Yeah, nobody believes
in us. We believe in each other.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
Don't we. Who cares what everyone else seeks. I joined
this franchise because I.

Speaker 6 (19:30):
Believe that it can make a lot of money, and
being a superhero means you keep believing in that money
no matter how hard things take. Fast Pass is right.
We've let all this distract us from what's important. We
just need to get the Netflix series and let our
superhero franchise speak for itself.

Speaker 9 (19:45):
Coon.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
Everybody hates us, maybe so, but we know who we are.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
We are Coon Friends, because we care about each other,
because we have each other's backs, and when days look
their darkest, these heroes will stand together and really name
us up.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
I forgot she's back.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Look at him, he's so said. Now, yeah, a.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Poor cartman. He was just on a roll too.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
It was in the middle of his speech.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
What do you want to nothing? Just fucking wearing sweet
costumes and talking about fighting evil?

Speaker 9 (20:38):
Is it okay?

Speaker 5 (20:40):
I just I thought we were meeting at the park.
You didn't text her anything? Oh my god, are you
fucking kidding me?

Speaker 13 (20:45):
Right now?

Speaker 5 (20:46):
Sorry? I won't interrupt.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 6 (20:50):
Because we aren't rooted discuss, we can't do anything.

Speaker 14 (20:56):
Carment savage, dude, straight, that was the worst public speaker
I've ever seen.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
So here's the thing. Now they go in. Now that
Mark Zuckerberg is gone, or Mark Zuckerberg' speech is over,
Zuckerberg hangs around town to irritate the townspeople by invading
their homes, riding in their vehicles, as well as eating
their food. Now, the townspeople complain to the police about
the behavior, but sartoant Yates insists that they cannot interfere

(21:23):
with Zuckerberger's actions. When he never breaks the law. Meanwhile,
the boys learned the Butters has paid Zuckerberg to protect
him and they cannot remove the fake stories about them
on Facebook. And then Cartman plans to trick Zuckerberg into
betraying Butters. He and the other boys attack him in
front of the other townspeople, who cheer them on after
Zuckerberg's invasions. All right, so here, let's go to Mark

(21:47):
Zuckerberg hanging out at the Tweak's house.

Speaker 11 (21:49):
Tweak, Tweak, Guess nobody realized Mark Zuckerberg was such a penis.

Speaker 7 (21:55):
It's Mark Zuckerberg. I know who it is. Excuse me,
what are you doing here?

Speaker 10 (21:59):
I wasn't bited here by people.

Speaker 8 (22:01):
We invited you to come speak to our community about
our problems.

Speaker 10 (22:05):
Ah. I see what you did there? Trying to block me? Right,
I'm tired of eating chips? What else is there?

Speaker 11 (22:12):
Hey?

Speaker 7 (22:13):
Get out of our fridge.

Speaker 10 (22:14):
Aha, this puny refrigerator could not block me. What makes
you think you can? Now?

Speaker 7 (22:18):
You listen here? I will no.

Speaker 10 (22:25):
You are no match for my soil. Where are we headed?
Perhaps we should get some food?

Speaker 7 (22:39):
Excuse me? This is our car?

Speaker 14 (22:41):
You call this a car? It wasn't even remotely able
to block me? What is this car soil?

Speaker 10 (22:47):
Get out of here?

Speaker 7 (22:48):
Your penis?

Speaker 10 (22:50):
Ha You say I have a penis, and yet I
am not a penis.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Say I am a penis and yet I am not
a penis. Uh, so i'll that's going on. During a
phone call, Netflix tells Cartman that they cannot greenlight their
new series until they address the stories about them on Facebook.
So here is Cartman now calling Netflix. You try and
pitch there nets.

Speaker 7 (23:11):
You're greenlt Who am I speaking to?

Speaker 9 (23:14):
Yah?

Speaker 6 (23:14):
Hello, we have an idea for a show that we
think would be great for Netflix.

Speaker 7 (23:18):
Okay, great.

Speaker 8 (23:18):
Would you like a pilot or just go straight to
an order of six episodes.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
We'd like to go right into six episodes with a
pickup option at the end of three.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
Got it?

Speaker 7 (23:25):
Can you start shooting next month?

Speaker 5 (23:26):
Got a show about transsexual dragons?

Speaker 10 (23:28):
Here?

Speaker 5 (23:29):
Yes, we're ready to start right now. We are very
very excited.

Speaker 8 (23:32):
Okay, sounds great. We'll send you the contracts. Oh and uh,
what's the show about.

Speaker 6 (23:36):
It's a standalone series about a superhero called the Kune.
Before he joins Cunan Friends, Coonan Friends, You mean the
kids I just read about in the News who stabbed
Jessica Alba.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
Look you did. You didn't read that on the news.
You read that on Facebook. Ah. Man, here we go.

Speaker 8 (23:53):
Yeah, We've never done this before, but I'm afraid I'm
gonna have to pass on your show.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Listen to me, there.

Speaker 6 (23:59):
Are false It's about it on Facebook that.

Speaker 5 (24:01):
Are not true.

Speaker 7 (24:02):
Well, then you should have those things taken down. It
can't be that hard.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
It's a lot harder than you think.

Speaker 8 (24:08):
Look, we'd love to approve your show, but you need
to get those things cleared up first.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
Okay, thanks for.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Calling, Thanks for coming. I resually really was that easy again?

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Oh my god? Yeah really, I'd call him right now.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Yeah, make the trip down in New Jersey where their
brand new state of the art facility is being built.
I'd be like, are you ready to green lip my
series it's about a boy and a man and their
journey to the United States. Start making some shit out.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
I'd like find someone to like mimic do that mimic
Alec Baldwin voice that Wes Anderson has for his for
his UH trailers, Okay, because I feel I feel that
would get me signed pretty quickly. Yeah, maybe, you know,

(25:00):
just like the incredible mister Fox.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Incredible, mister what does the Fox saying? I don't know,
I don't know. Here's mister Mark Zuckerberg now invading people's
food here.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
True, that's Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker 10 (25:16):
That's my suit brick. So you are trying to block me.

Speaker 7 (25:19):
Huh, that's fine.

Speaker 10 (25:20):
What's your style?

Speaker 7 (25:21):
I don't have a style.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Now he's at another person's home.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
Here, get out of my bed.

Speaker 10 (25:30):
I was invited here. I am only making use of
a bed for sleeping.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
Yes, we just wanted you to come share your insights
on Facebook.

Speaker 10 (25:42):
You should have worked with me when you had the chance.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Seeah, when I don't get to this home through this
whole time, why didn't somebody? Why does it take the
kids to have to do something? You know what I mean?
They should like if this dude was in my house,
I'd be beating the fuck out of him like this,
Like what, I don't give a fuck who you are.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Right, dude, that's just start their own hands.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Yeah, seriously, you're in my bed, Like, what the hell
is going on? You're coming into my home. We didn't
I didn't say you could come into my home.

Speaker 10 (26:07):
Now you lie over there dead.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Back at Circus City Chaos layer that kitchen employees.

Speaker 6 (26:14):
Kelly Smith has just ridden her one hundred day blocks
that were shared over a thousand times on Facebook. Let's
hear it from Kelly. Don't forget about those chaos and
sentis you too can benefit from pandemonia. But thats wha No,
it's coded brands. Damn hold down everyone, stick your work,

(26:38):
have appealab those presspasses.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
We're here to put an end to your chaos.

Speaker 6 (26:42):
Yeah, I don't have butt secks with analopes and token
does and proof in girl's mouth. It's the twenty first century, jitumate.
There's nothing illegal about what I'm doing.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Yeah, nothing illegal about us checking your ass either.

Speaker 6 (26:55):
Actually that is illegal. And besides, you can't do anything
to me.

Speaker 10 (27:06):
This is the kuded prince that you have told me about.

Speaker 14 (27:09):
I warned you by Buddy Shoil was on your past.

Speaker 5 (27:12):
Who that's Sam Hall? Is that? I think that's Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker 10 (27:16):
You want to get to Butter's right, You're gonna have
to get through me.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
So this kid is of course, this is like a
commentary on the fact that people were putting out a
lot of this ship, but Facebook was guarding it or
protecting these people because they were getting a lot of
money from said clients, you know what I'm saying. So
I believe that's what the commentary is.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Yeah, this was right around the time that people were
starting to figure out how certain elections may have been
one because this was about year after the twenty sixteen election.

(28:02):
The whole Russian bot theory was starting to become a thing.
And this is when Facebook was a little more of
the wild West, and they weren't doing that whole fact
checking thing that people seem to hate now. But we're
crying for eight years ago. Nobody wants to figure figure

(28:24):
figure it out for your fucking selves, stumbasses. If it
seems too good to be true, it's probably too good
to be true. It's Okham's fraser here, Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 6 (28:34):
Liberately lying about us on your platform for no other
reason than to cause harm.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
Why are you protecting him?

Speaker 10 (28:41):
Simple? He paid me seventeen dollars and twenty three cents.

Speaker 6 (28:44):
Yep, it's the Facebook Safeguard program. Just seventeen dollars a month.
They gets you personal protection from Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker 10 (28:50):
Come on, what George doing?

Speaker 1 (28:55):
So, as I mentioned, the town residents are furious over
Mark Zuckerberg so now they're like riding in the streets
or protesting, whatever you want to call it, and they're like, hey,
this is some bullshit. We want him out of our town.
And started ahs like, you guys invited him here and
he's not doing anything illegal.

Speaker 7 (29:15):
All right, everyone, calm down. You have to do something.
This guy's going around acting like everyone's stuff is his.

Speaker 14 (29:24):
I'm sick of getting out of the shower to fight
Mark Zuckerberg sitting on my toilet.

Speaker 8 (29:30):
Zuckerberg ate everything in off freezer and then helped himself
to my wife's lubricant.

Speaker 10 (29:36):
What all right?

Speaker 11 (29:38):
All right, everyone, I just want to know one thing.
Who invited him here? Come on, who invited Mark Zuckerberg
to town in.

Speaker 7 (29:50):
The first place? We did? Huh? What's that? We invited
Mark Zuckerberg to town?

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (30:00):
Huh, that's what I thought. You all brought Mark Zuckerberg
into your lives and now you want the police to
shoot him. Please. He don't understand. He's such a penis.

Speaker 8 (30:09):
Yeah, and I'm pretty sure his voice is dumped and
he does all his own sound effects.

Speaker 7 (30:13):
Well, that doesn't mean he's done anything illegal.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Well, technically, trespassing into someone's home could be considered illegal.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
I mean they that.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
I guess that's South Park, Colorado fair and fair View, fairfield.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Whatever, and where it's say fair play.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Fair play, I guess it's fair play.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Fair play and fair play.

Speaker 8 (30:37):
Police will help deal with Mark Zuckerberg, but we aren't
going to shoot him.

Speaker 7 (30:43):
I'm sorry, that's just the way it is. You all
should have thought harder about this before letting him into
your lives.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
And of course that's another uh you know, commentary on
the fact that so many people use Facebook. So now
the Boys are are of course upset because they're like,
can't get their franchise off the ground.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
And we all became superheroes. We took an oath that no.

Speaker 6 (31:10):
Matter what it took, we would all make shitloads of money.
But thanks to Mark Zuckerberg, right now we are a
superhero group that can't even get a show on net.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
Thanks Zuckerberg is the key. He's the only person who
can shut down Facebook. How are we gonna get him
to do that? We're gonna beat him at his own.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
Game, all right.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
So, as I mentioned with the remaining five minutes here
in the episode Cartman, the Zuckerberg effect happens here as
the Boys attack him in front of the other townspeople,
who cheer them on. Cartman complains to them that Zuckerberg
was trying to stop the children from promoting justice for
black people, handicapped people, and Jewish people. Zuckerberg insists otherwise,
but Cartman tells him that Facebook says it's true, and

(31:54):
then reveals him in the Tirre fight has been recorded
live on Facebook by Super Craig. He panics and shuts
out on the side to prevent the video from being
spread further Indie Butter's scheme for spreading fake news about them.
When Steven Stotch finds out about the scheme, he fears
he drags into Moscow to punish butters in Vladimir Putin
for giving him the idea in the first place, and
he grounds both of them. The boys are then able

(32:17):
to proceed with their serious plan, but then they end
up splitting up over a dispute over differences in franchise plans.
All right, so here is the boys now putting their
plan into action against Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker 12 (32:30):
We got the west entrance to town secure.

Speaker 7 (32:33):
How you guys doing out east?

Speaker 12 (32:34):
Here?

Speaker 5 (32:35):
He comes?

Speaker 7 (32:39):
Okay, mister Zuckerberg, that's gonna have to be.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
It can't let you into town.

Speaker 10 (32:44):
So you think you can block me.

Speaker 8 (32:47):
Look, people don't want you here. Okay, this is a
quiet little town and you cannot block me.

Speaker 7 (32:52):
There's plenty of other.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
Places you could go, sir.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Can you please just don't do that?

Speaker 2 (33:01):
You don't.

Speaker 8 (33:07):
He walked through?

Speaker 5 (33:09):
Oh my card, my card?

Speaker 10 (33:13):
Oh my god?

Speaker 5 (33:13):
Smark soccer bird, Oh my god.

Speaker 10 (33:22):
And then.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
What's the man best for you?

Speaker 14 (33:28):
You saw me wad and yet you think you can
block me?

Speaker 10 (33:32):
Right, go ahead and try.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
Yeah, let me see you black my stoy.

Speaker 12 (33:48):
Just start just beating the ship of him destroyable. Hey,
the freaking costume kids are getting suckerbird instead of pends
over in his mouth.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Then, as I mentioned, starts fudging. Now starts fudging.

Speaker 10 (34:13):
Right, sequel left to match my soil and failed.

Speaker 6 (34:17):
Uh huh it is over. My friends are all beaten.
Whow they were just children. This one's simply protesting for
black lives and this child trying to speak out for
handicapped people. Right, Mark Zuca Big and my friend Cam
guilty of nothing but standing.

Speaker 5 (34:33):
Up for the bratchet cheese?

Speaker 11 (34:35):
What what what are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Ever heard of Facebook Live?

Speaker 6 (34:42):
We are just kids trying to have our voices heard
for black handicapped and Jewish rags cut down in our
prime by Mark.

Speaker 10 (34:48):
Chuck A big but but hold on that that's not.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
True Facebook, It's true. No, I guess his soil was beaten.
I guess the boys had a bigger stroil.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
Sounds naughty, sounds naughty?

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Uh, here's of course chaos city. Now shut down?

Speaker 5 (35:13):
Hey, what's going on? Everyone? Keep working? We can't something
rob with faith book. It's gone like somebody shut it down?
What are you talking about? It's over chaos.

Speaker 6 (35:25):
We forced your little Tony to shut down his own
disorder device.

Speaker 7 (35:32):
Oh yes, you're the one who started all.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
This, all right, So now he gets tracked to Russia.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
Don't you.

Speaker 7 (35:47):
We'll just see about that.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
Barges into Vladimir Kutin's office.

Speaker 7 (35:52):
Go on, tell mister Putin what you told me?

Speaker 6 (35:55):
Well?

Speaker 5 (35:55):
I was, well, let just see it. How just use Facebook?
Like what and William wake any woolves.

Speaker 7 (36:02):
He didn't break any rules. Good job teaching on children,
that's all that matters. Just because of the way that
caused chaos in a town or disrupt an entire country
doesn't mean you go and do it, does it?

Speaker 8 (36:12):
If Mark Zuckerberg points a loaded candidate in someone's face,
are you innocent for just lighting the pills? Answer me yes, no,
h go around making things up about people either, unless
it's about Mark.

Speaker 7 (36:24):
Zuckerby because he deserves it.

Speaker 8 (36:26):
I hope you're both very satisfied with the damage you've cost,
because you're both crowned.

Speaker 5 (36:33):
Cone Friends.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
We have done it all right now. In the last
ninety seconds of the show, here the boys, of course
said they've got their name cleared, and now they're going
to have their differences in regards to the Coon and
Friends franchise, which is going to then lead into the
fractured but whole game.

Speaker 5 (36:50):
Book is gone and Netflix has approved our TV show.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
All we have to do now is agree on the
final draft of the franchise plan.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
You can see that the Super Craig movie now proceed.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
The Coon Versus So here's the final phase. You got
Coon still, Super Craig, Human Kite Mysterion, coonon and Super
Craig Fast Pass, Coon and Friends one, Toolshed the Human
Kite Mysterion season two and coonan Friends United. Of course,
we've got new stuff there.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
And like, are we in like phase four of like
the second wave now.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
I guess I have no idea. I'm so lost where
we're at now in the actual Marvel.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Series, right, Like I know we're in like at least
phase five, if they didn't just break it into a
whole new.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
I don't.

Speaker 10 (37:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (37:41):
Super Craig movie followed by Mysterion's video game, and then
how come I have to have the video game?

Speaker 5 (37:46):
I want a movie too. You have a movie, Mysterion.

Speaker 6 (37:49):
You're in the third Coon and Friends United movie after
your video game.

Speaker 5 (37:52):
Yeah, but he's saying he doesn't ever get his own movie.
Do I get my own movie?

Speaker 10 (37:55):
Not?

Speaker 6 (37:56):
Everyone gets their own movie? The franchise Plant sacks. Oh Jesus,
here we go again. No, wonder Tweak is right. It
was better when we started the movies off with a
Tupperware prequel. You can't do a prequel first? Why not,
because then it's not a prequel, it's just first. And besides,
Topwar is in our strongest character.

Speaker 5 (38:12):
Fuck you, it's better than a human kind. He just
likes this plan because he gets two movies in phase one. Guys,
we just go with this plan. We don't even have
one movie yet. You go with the plan.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
Maybe we'll just go and do our own franchise. Yeah, yeah,
oh you want Civil Wars? How would you watch? Yeah, dude,
Civil War? Fuck you, oh, fuck you, get out of
my house. We'll make way more money on our franchise.
Go ahead, and that you don't even get halfway through
phase one on your franchise, DZ comics.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
I thought Civil War wasn't supposed to happen until phase three.
Shut up, Super Craig.

Speaker 1 (38:50):

(39:53):
and gentlemen, this man is a doctor, the doctor of suckinomics, puconomics, polyphonics, and.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
A little scoop of phonics.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
He is, of course, the twenty twenty two Day one
South Park Red Rocks Trivia Champion. He's effectually known on
this podcast as a trivia god, Joe Vernola, Joe read Us,
substant trivia Buddy, give us the insights.

Speaker 3 (40:29):
Butters At being taken to Russia and then yelled at
in front of Vladimir Putin by his father regarding the
spreading of false information on Facebook is a reference to
accusations for Russia using Facebook accounts to buy acts and
spread false info during the sixteen elections, which I think

(40:49):
I touched on a few minutes ago. Something else we
also touched on. Chaos's headquarters is located in abandoned Circuit City,
a consumer electronics store that ceased operations in two thousand
and nine. This episode, as we also pointed out, was
a prequel to The Fracture Butthole, which was released six

(41:12):
days after the airing of this episode. In edition. Selected
scenes where the Coon and Friends discussed their franchise plan
in the beginning and the end of the episode are
directly from the trailer of the game on the Coon
and Friends franchise plan. On the Coon's chockboard, there is
a title under Phase two that says the Rise of

(41:33):
Captain Diabetes, which is Scott Malkinson's superhero persona, suggesting and
actually confirming that Scott is also accepted into the Coon
and Friends sometime either prior or after this episode. I
would say prior if it was already on there and
he's already on the board, and the game confirms the

(41:55):
Captain Diabetes is part of the crew as you use
him for his super strength throughout the game. Diabetes, that
what up Bree the the pixie sticks or whatever to
knock over the vending machines is just great. Timmy Birch

(42:18):
is the only member of Coon and Friends that does
not make an appearance in this episode. I am going
to call them outa and say that's a lie. They've
already acknowledged that Iron Maiden has been retired, which was
Timmy Birch's uh persona, which explains why he's not in
this episode. And then we obviously see Professor Timmy become

(42:38):
Professor Timmy six days later in the Fractured butt Hole.
He's already He's already out of Coon and Friends at
this point. That's true, So I I call issue with
whoever put this in the script. Mister and Missus Stevens
are seen at the family meeting about the boys stressing

(43:00):
up as superheroes, although Babe is not shown dressing up
nor appears in the episode. You know, maybe they just
wanted to be cool.

Speaker 10 (43:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (43:11):
This is one of the few episodes where Steven grounds
Butters on legitimate grounds a good reason. Usually Stephn is
grounding Butters for something that he didn't do, or something
that one of the boys did under the guise of

(43:31):
it being Butters, or just falling victim to peer pressure
a lot of times. This is one of the few times,
if not the first time, that Stephen grounds Butters over
something that Butters has full control over. At the very least,
Facebook doesn't necessarily have a face a safeguard program to

(43:58):
provide professor personal protection the way Chaos uses it, but
it does have a safeguard program to prevent misusing and
abusing of users' images. Ladies, Jeral now has a lot
of other bullshit in there.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
Ladies and gentlemen, that is your trivia. Continuing on, Joe
Vernola riad us up some pop culture.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
The Zucks Out of Saint dubbed voice exaggerated, posing our
reference and references doing then Blockable Soil are all parodies
of classic chop socky kung fu films of the seventies
and eighties, noted for the terrible duves and worse acting.
More specifically, the pronouncing of the wordyl mimics the Parsons

(44:49):
from Enter the Dragon, which, if you haven't seen it
is classics. This also means that Zuck is the only
person in the series who does not have a correct
lip sync. Jimmy's persona fast Pass is a reference to

(45:11):
the Flash from DC Comics, and his opening scene has
a very many similarities to the opening of the Flash
TV show that was on the CW at the time
with with Ezra that was okay, Oh, Ezra Miller was

(45:33):
the one in the movies. Then they did all the
go Okay, my bad, my.

Speaker 1 (45:37):
Bad, I ran my flash. He's the best flash.

Speaker 10 (45:40):
On my mind.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
Yeah, yeah, he's the one from Glee.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
Right, I don't know. I never watched Glee.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
No, but they had people in Glee on that show.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
Okay, yeah, I could have sworn he did a guest
spot a couple of times. But moving on, the Ikun
and Friends franchise plan is a jab at the segmented
approach Marvel Studios took with their MCU, which we pointed
out earlier, different films and series being released in phases
to take advantage of various demographics and market forces at once.

(46:13):
After Stan tells Butters about their plans for a film
focusing on the bad guys, Butter tells them that Suicide
Squad sucked, referencing the twenty sixteen DCEU film with Jared
Leto as the joker. Will Smith was in there as well.
Not good, Not good. It has received generally negative reviews

(46:39):
from critics and fans, and Dcoon and Friends headquarters by
the Coon Store, a poster for the Coon can be
seen that parodies a thecover of The Dark Night Returns,
which was again that's a really good chef's kiss to
anyone who actually like knows the mix and the covers

(47:00):
and everything. Super Greg and Wonder Tweak's outfit are almost
the same as Tweak probably used Craig's clothes or clothes
that resemble them. And they are a parody of Superman
and Wonder Woman, which I mean, I guess kind of
makes sense because kaal El and Diana do hook up

(47:23):
it one point, but it's so far down the line
that I don't that I don't know why they would match,
that they would be Superman and Wonder Woman. Dakun mentions
Harvey Weinstein, a Hollywood producer and studio executive who was
later accused and eventually convicted and then declared his trial

(47:45):
on sexual harassment and rape of multiple women.

Speaker 1 (47:51):
And ladies and gentlemen. That is your pop pop pop
culture with Jove Verna. All right, let me reach up
to the storyline continuity here quickly. Butter's mentioned starting a
website to spread malicious rumors and about everyone in the town,
and the Simpsons already did it, although he did not

(48:12):
start the website in that episode. Lexus Martin from Raises
can be seen as one of Butter's Facebook friends when
he looks at the Coon and Friends Facebook page, likely
meaning they still keep in touch and remain friends sometimes
after the said episode, and that is your storyline continuity, scoop.
What'd you like about this episode, buddy?

Speaker 4 (48:35):
I love that it's a prelude to the game, which
is this was a pretty good you know, bring you
into it.

Speaker 2 (48:45):
Uh, it's an alright episode, I guess, Oh my goodness
when he's out there working.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
Okay, anything else you want to add.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
That Jimmy's character is probably my favorite.

Speaker 1 (49:02):
Okay, all right, sounds good.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
Not much to know. I'm sorry, guys, No.

Speaker 3 (49:08):
You're good. Thanks, thanks for being here. Dude, like it. So,
I've got a lot of notes on I was saying,
and a lot of it is likes because this episode,
for me, becomes a lot better after you've played through

(49:28):
the practured Butthole, Like even though they call it series
prequel and you know that it's going to become better,
it's just it's a lot better once you play through
the game because so much more of it makes sense.
Not that it didn't make sense as a standalone episode,
it just tie it was really and when you consider

(49:51):
the fact that the games are just basically eight hour
long episodes or like or like two or three hour
long episodes when you down to just the cut scenes
they they're and the fact that Matt and Trey have
taken those games and made them part of the universe,
as we see with Koopa Keith being in some episodes

(50:15):
after a Stick of Truth and everything else. It becomes
a lot better once you've played the game, and remember,
being black doesn't make the game harder, it just changes
how everyone treats.

Speaker 1 (50:28):
You and that game.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
That is true, and him going to do a fractured
but a whole run here pretty soon as a black dude,
but just because I haven't yet.

Speaker 10 (50:43):
So.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
Jimmy being the flash to this day still makes me laugh.
It's a very.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
Yeah, because of the fact that he is more than
likely slower than all of them.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
It's a very able it's a very nice little fuck
you to ableism. The way the Netflix guys answer the phone,
thank you for calling Netflix to your green lid. And
and then the fact Da Cartman already knows that there's
the uh sign on for sakes, with the option after

(51:19):
three like he already knows all the contract options before
even calling, and the fact that they were just and
the fact that Netflix was literally I think they even
said that their policy at that time was basically just
greenlight anything that you know, look it came across their
way that was even legitimate, you know, not literally anything,

(51:42):
but like if you knew how to put a pitch
together in the pilot, they were definitely giving you some
some some attention. Butter's going on, just going full on
Wiki leaks and Skan come forty to just like right
away just hitting the internet with everything. There was just

(52:04):
something about it that reminded me very much of Wiki Leaks,
where he was like, no, I'm not parents believing Betters
bullshit and then calling themselves and then calling themselves out
when they were actually calling the kids out. I'm not
believing that shit the way the Cast kids, the way

(52:28):
the Cast kids and Cocuding friends both treat job applicants.
They you know, they're very nice to them. They're like, oh, hey,
thanks for being here, thanks for being interested. It's very
much a job interview right the And it's a continuing

(52:51):
it's a continuing joke for this season, and it was
a joe last season two that whenever Heidi comes up,
Butters not Butter's cartmon just goes from one hundred to
zero that yeah, we're gonna oh hey babe. And it's

(53:12):
just it feels to me like it's a commentary on
people who suffer from codependencies and just and just like
insist on, you know, staying in a relationship with the

(53:35):
person that they very clearly hate at this point or
maybe or maybe if it's not even hate, they've just
fallen out of like they did. Like it's you know,
and we all probably have our friends who have been
in a relationship like that or are in a relationship

(53:57):
like that where you're just like thinking to your cell phone,
like God, for the love for the love of Christ,
just the two you fucking break up or divorce already, right,
But but it's all they know is so they don't
want to leave it or it's they that's their little
hit of not little hit of validation.

Speaker 2 (54:14):
But it's.

Speaker 3 (54:17):
Definitely I think it's definitely a commentary on that. And
I was probably looking a little too far into that,
but we always we all have that friend who like
they are a hundred percent different when they're not around
their significant other guys and girls too, Like you could

(54:37):
be having a day out with the guys and everything,
and then his girl calls and you can just see
he just like.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
You know some and.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
You know, so that that kind of ship. And I
think this was always kind of a commentary on that,
and just like personally and not speaking for the show
or anything like that, if you are in it, just
do yourself the favor and get the fuck out of it.
Like it's just it's going to suck because it is

(55:14):
a change, but like you'll it'll it'll be cathartic, like
just just get it. Get away from that person, like
you neither of you like each other at that point anymore.
Just be adults.

Speaker 1 (55:28):
Be adults. All right. Well, I don't have too much
to add to that because you kind of took notes
and did a lot of the work today, Joe. But
I will say that I thought it was funny just
how the just the trolling itself of Butters, the things
he was saying, you know, making making it up that
the boys were peeing in little kid's mouths, that they

(55:49):
were taking a poop on somebody's heads, all these funny,
ridiculous statements. I thought that was hysterical. Those were the
funniest parts of the episode. Other than that, you know,
let's take a look here before we go at some
critical reception. A V Club gave Franchise Prequel a C
plus rating, saying this resolution suffers from the same kind

(56:09):
of specificityacivity, and extreminess as Zuckerberg's characterization. This is Cartman
we're talking about when it comes to defamatory fake news
about Zuckerberg. Couldn't have Couldn't he have come up with
something less generic, something more poignted and cringe inducing, something
more South Parks. I guess they were saying they didn't
like the way in which they tried to take down

(56:31):
Mark Zuckerberg through using it by handicap, you know, a
black power and Jewish descent. IGN gave Franchise Prequel and
eight point zero rating system. While not the strongest episode
of the season so far, Franchise Prequel serves as enjoyable
lead in to the Fractured but Whole while also landpointing
recent Facebook controversies. This episode could have done a little

(56:53):
more with its Mark Zuckerberg parody, However, the return of
Professor Chios, the scathing critique of fake news and the
adult to read about it in the terrific ending more
than made up for any problems. So the Avy Cub
didn't like it, but IGN did. I'd say I probably
agree with IGN. This is probably a seven point five
to an eight. As far as like a rating out

(57:14):
of ten, I would put this in my top you know,
two hundred. It's a good episode. But like, realistically, this
episode only hits now because of the video game. Like
you go back and like, oh, I'm gonna play the
video game, Well, maybe I should watch Franchise People first
as a lead into it, right, So for that it
definitely has staying power. But as far as like the
jokes and stuff like that, you know, there's only few

(57:36):
and far between between the stroil stuff and the you know,
that's really the biggest thing that people take out of
this is the Mark Zuckerberg soil you cannot miss with
my stoil.

Speaker 3 (57:46):
Which I think is kind of the bad thing for
this episode, because I really think that Steven coming in
and grounding Butters and putin is up there with with

(58:15):
Trey Slash Randy Marsh yelling at or slash h Steven
Stotch yelling at Gary Condit, well not Gary Condit, because
he actually wound up not being responsible but you know,
yelling at Oja. And actually that's a bad example because
both the Ramses and Gary condit wound up being found clear.

(58:40):
But so maybe I should use the Mark McGuire, Barry Bonds,
you lie, you lie, Like I felt very much to
be like it was supposed to be that, like that
kind of and it just didn't right, okay, you know.

(59:04):
And it may just be because that there are a
lot of South Park viewers out there who may not
buy into the bindings of the Mulle Report or anything
like that either. But I think that this episode was
supposed to be something kind of ridiculous, like Butters getting kidnapped,

(59:29):
or Jimmy buying steroids for the Special Olympics and turning
into those you know, pointing in thirty seconds where they
are yelling at McGuire and Bonds or putin.

Speaker 1 (59:43):
Totally get that all right, Well, ladies and gentlemen, that's
