for the best part of your day.
I'm back bitches, bitches,snitches she's back.
Gina did a good job covering.
I said I cut it out of theepisode, but I was like if
there's one episode thatBrittany is going to be so mad
she's missing, it's this one.

(00:24):
Cause we went full, taylor, andI feel like maybe you feel
differently, but I feel like I'malways trying to like limit the
Taylor talk, not to isolate ournon Swifties, and you're
pushing the Taylor talk and Iwas like she is going to be so
pissed.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I was like, of course , of course, but you guys
honestly said, like most of whatI, I agreed with everything you
had to say, for the most part.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
So We'd love to hear it.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much.
How was California?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Oh, it was fun.
I mean I so this was my firsttime at San Diego.
I was like I feel like it's theFlorida of the West Coast, like
lots of families on vacation, like we like sat at the beach
for two days, like it was.
It was awesome.
But yeah, the weather there islike unreal.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Oh, a hundred percent Maybe.
Maybe we should introduce ourguest so that she can comment on
this, because we do.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Oh yeah, oh, I didn't realize, you didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I didn't realize it either.
Sorry, megan, we're off ourgame.
One episode, you know.
And we're just, you know, newtime podcasters over here
joining us today for our latestepisode.
I'm so excited about thisbecause she is one of our top
tier listeners OG, snitch, og,snitch, og snitch.
Welcome to my cousin, ms MeganCoyle.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Hey, hey, snitches, excited to be here.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Thanks for having me oh, we're so excited to have you
.
Megan's also a huge Swifty, huge music sports girl, so we
are going to have a greatconversation about all of those
topics.
But I wanted to say, like ourcousin Scott's in San Diego, and
he absolutely loves it.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh, he is.
Yeah, he's been I don't see himmoving back anytime soon.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yeah, I wouldn't either if I was him.
Like I thought, going thereduring the summer, like I was
like, oh, at least it'll beeasier to come home because,
like it's not freezing cold butno 75 degrees there is a lot
different than 75 degrees here,I'll tell you that much.
Like literally, it's unreal.
Like I sat at the beach all dayand there was like this nice
breeze, I wasn't hot, I wasn'thot, I wasn't sweating, I wasn't

(02:24):
cold, like it's just literallyalways the constant, the perfect
temperature.
I kept thinking like you knowhow, like in when you go to
Europe, like there's nohangovers, yes, it's like when
you go to San Diego, there's nosweating, what it's the?
land of no sweating.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
It's the land of no sweating.
Yeah, I need to live in thatplace.
I sweat constantly.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Constantly.
And it was so funny because alot of like, well, one thing
that does suck is you have toUber a lot Like there's a lot of
driving around.
That sucks.
But like a lot of the Uberdrivers, we were like talking
and they're like, oh yeah, well, the weather's so nice.
But you know, they're likepointing out the houses and how
much they cost and like talkabout the real estate.
It's so crazy.
And I'm like, oh yeah, it'slike that for us at home too.
It's like crazy right now.
And they're like in Boston, why?
And I'm like, good, question.

(03:16):
Chris was like well, you know, Imean it's like pretty populated
, like it's not like we live inKansas or something.
Not a good answer.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
No, honestly the dry heat is so legit.
When I lived in Arizona, Ididn't come home to Boston for a
full year.
I came home for one week inJuly.
I remember I will never forgetstepping off the plane and the
humidity like hitting me like abrick wall immediate sweat.
The dry heat is so legit.
I, I understand.
And yeah, like our cousin wentout there I think he was
planning originally to be there.
What A couple of years.

(03:50):
Yeah, like tops, yeah, he wasthere for he did the.
COVID thing and there was a tonof people that went from
Massachusetts.
So jealous I know.
But no, we're going on yearfive and, like Megan said, I
don't see any plans to come back.
No, scott's a Cali boy, he's aCali boy, we lost him.
We lost him.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
One thousand percent Gone to the West Coast I don't
blame him Gone to the place ofno sweating.
It's a beautiful land, the landof no sweat.
Yeah, yeah Well.
I'm glad you had such a goodtime.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, right, though definitely recommend a trip
there.
Um, but get ready to come backto miserable weather, whether
it's summer or winter, or springor fall, because every day is
miserable here compared to SanDiego.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Okay also we should probably say that Brittany has
been pushing quite hard foryears to get not just her and
her family to move, butbasically our entire, yeah, her
whole community to move.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Everyone I know.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I mean listen, sold like, sign me up, I'll go to
California say less, I love tonot sweat.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I could learn.
I can learn to surf.
I will say the thing aboutCalifornia, though, is it's
really far from Europe, likethat's like going to Hawaii for
us.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah, but you could well, okay, but then you could
just go to Hawaii, you know.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
but I'd rather go to Europe.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
But yeah, I mean, it's a small price to pay in the
pro con list.
That's like a small con.
Oh, that's a big con for me.
You know what would be great isI've I lived in California?
You know what would be great isI've I lived in california?
You know what I would do youbest believe I would be at the
game shows.
I'd be in the audience.
You know what I would do?
Oh, megan oh man.

(05:34):
Okay, wait, I have to change it.
Something that needs to be saidabout megan is and we're from a
family that is a big gamefamily we've've.
We grew up playing games.
I know where you're going withthis, do you Okay?

Speaker 3 (05:46):
I think so.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Megan is the best boggle player I have seen in my
entire life.
It has.
Megan is nine years youngerthan me.
Nine years, right?
How old are you?
Uh, 26.
Yeah, soon to be nine years.
There was I mean there's beendays, literally, where, like
Melissa and I have teamed up, wesaid, if we can add together as
a pair, beat Megan like, well, that's fine, we'll take it.
We still can't, she's so smart, but we always joke that we

(06:15):
would be great on Wheel ofFortune together.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yes, and I've applied twice by myself.
Have they called me?
No, a little salty about it,but it's okay, I'm going to keep
going.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
They always do pairs family edition.
We should definitely look intothat because I think we'd kill
it, we would crush it.
I would do that.
I have actually brought up theshow before on the pod, but we
always end up cutting it.
But my all time favoritereality show, it's not actually
Bravo at all.
It is the best game show of alltime Big brother they film

(06:45):
notice you kept cutting that.
Well, I just it was always like, yeah, I just kept cutting it
out and we are in full fledgedbig brother season commercials
for it, and I think of you everytime.
Thank you so much, thank you somuch.
It's a core tenant of mypersonality.
They film in California.
You better believe I am goingto those live shows, julie Chen

(07:07):
coming for you.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I thought you, so I thought the story you were going
to tell is that your family wasin Family Feud.
Was that in LA?
Did they have to fly to LA forthat?

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Yeah, they flew to California for that.
What year was it?
It aired in 1982,.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
I think, yes, that's definitely it.
It was basically my grandfatheror our grandfather, our
grandmother and then my mom, hersister, our auntie Donna and
then their cousin Carol went onand they won the first game,
were brought back for a secondgame, lost the second game.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
No, they won two games, oh, did they.
And they lost the third one, oh, okay.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Did they win any money?
Yeah, that's pretty good Didthey win any money.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, yeah, they won money.
I don't know if they won thebig bucks, though, cause I think
they missed on, like the bonus, both times.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I'm not sure, but you know what?
We do have some video clips ofit.
That would be hilarious, maybewe do a post.
Yeah, it's, it's really cutereally cute, it is cute.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
I wonder what the big bucks were back in 1982 when
you went in 10 grand.
I think it was five, yikes yeahwait, no, yeah, it was five.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
So yes, they did win one, because their grand total
was like six thousand, so theyhadn't won the first day and
then the next day.
They didn't win the big money, but they still want it.
Must have been so fun thatwould be so fun.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
They talk about it all the time.
They say it was like, yeah, thefirst time their aunt had gone
to a McDonald's.
We hear that story constantly.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
And how everyone else was out drinking, except for
uncle Jimmy and Nancy Richards, because they were the two young
ones.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah, my mom and Megan's dad are brother and
sister.
There's four siblings and theyoungest one, who's much younger
than the rest, my uncle, jimmy.
It was actually his idea, andthen he.
They went out there and thecasting director saw our
grandfather who, if you've evermet our grandfather, he was a
very very sweet, very handsomeman so he just charmed.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
His laugh is what got him plucked from the audience
like uncle jimmy was part of theoriginal five, and then they
were like um, yeah, we want tohave you on, but, sorry, your
husband will have to lead yourteam, so that's hilarious.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
I feel like that would happen to your grandfather
.
I guess we know kristen gotbest yet laugh in our yearbook.
I guess we know where she gotit oh my god, I forgot.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
yeah, that's a killer superlative to win honestly
Canton High 2008,.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
best laugh in that high school Shout out Wow, that
hasn't been brought up yet onthe on the pod 21 episodes in 22
.
So 22.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yeah, just another time, but yeah, so what?
One of the things that I thinkis most like a fun fact about
you, megan, is that Megan grewup on Cape Cod.
Let's hear about it.
What was your favorite thing, favorite or least favorite about
growing up, as you say, on Cape?

Speaker 2 (09:51):
So it's.
I don't know if I'm the bestlike a Cape born person to
really be talking about thisbecause, as much as I, do like
the Cape and I very much enjoyedlike growing up down there.
Honestly, I was very excited toget the heck out of it.
But my favorite thing ishonestly, like I mean obviously
it's such a stereotypical answerI would say the beach, but not

(10:11):
for like beaching it during theday, like I can't stand being in
crowds of people.
Like I really liked going likein the evenings, like either for
like sunset or at nighttimehaving like bonfires on the
beach with my friends, like thatwas probably one of my favorite
things to do down there growingup.
Um, and then also I have toshout out the Cape Cod ice cream
places most superior ice creamon the planet.

(10:31):
I will doubt that hill.
Um, specifically schoolhouse inHarwich and then twin acres and
sandwich like can't go wrong.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yeah, I mean.
You know what, though?
I bet you're not alone.
I think a lot of people whoactually grow up on the Cape are
.
Either.
It's got to be polarizing.
Either you love it, never wantto leave your grip.
You're not grandfather, yourdad's a lifer.
He moved down there in theeighties, hasn't left.
Yep, yep, um and like.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I don't really think, but like, see, she loves like
the beach and she loves boating.
Like I will say I lovedactually I forgot to to say this
I loved, like that my family,on my mom, said specifically
like, oh, someone always had aboat, so that was nice, like on
the weekends.
Like I grew up going out toMonomoy, which is off of Chatham
, um, and I went off of Chathamand like every summer we would
be out there on my grandpa'sboat, like any day.

(11:17):
That was nice on the weekends.
So that was actually probablyone of my favorite things too
growing up down there but yeah,it's definitely.
It's definitely polarizing, Ifeel like, especially now too.
It was always a tourist spot, but I feel like people have this
like I glorified idea in theirbrains.
Now they're like oh my god, thecape is so awesome, we have to
go there in the summer, and it'slike and they all go to the

(11:38):
same places.
So it's like there's just toomany people.
Yeah, there's too many people,yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
There's too many people living here.
Yeah, that's why we should allmove.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Yeah, too many people we can't fit them all, yeah,
1000.
Well, what do we think?
Should we jump into our segment?
Let's do it, okay.
Uh, we have 13 questions forMegan.
This I'm so ready.
So question number one Megan isshe's a big, big Swifty, so

(12:10):
we're going to open with a musicSwifty question.
What is your favorite Tayloralbum?

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Honestly, my new director action was reputation.
I've just been such a rep girlsince it came out.
But I will say I've always beena fearless Stan and I, like re,
fell in love with that albumafter she released her version.
Like the more mature vocals Iwas like, wow, like yeah, I like
re-fell in love with it.
I will listen to that all thetime.
I will say 1989 is probablylike easily top five.

(12:41):
I don't, probably my third, probably my third, especially
after her version with the balltracks.
I mean, come on, that's thebest fault I know.
Like it just got better fromthere.
I think, um, and I want toshout out red, just because,
like some of like, red is likehalf and half for me.
I do think red has some of myfavorite taylor songs of all
time on it, but the album as awhole like isn't, isn't my

(13:04):
totally agree, I totally agreewith that.
I'm red, um.
And then folklore, just likefor the vibe, like if I just
want easy listening, mellowmusic, folklore's up there.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
For me, that's a good , top five Good top five, spoken
like a true Swifty, when yousay name your favorite Taylor
album and she says five.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Yeah.
I mean you really can't chooseone.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
No, I feel that and I 1000% agree on Red I feel like
that might be a take that iswidely accepted amongst the
Swifties.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
I would agree.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
I feel like that about Lover too.
I know you like Lover Kristen, but I feel like that about Lover
too.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Lover, like as a whole not my favorite album.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
No, I think Lover does not get the respect it
deserves, and my reason for thisis um is because I think she
came out with the worst singleof all time.
Yeah, her lover.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Single choices were terrible.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
If she had chosen cruel summer as her as her
single from that album, thatalbum would be, I think, looked
at differently than it is now.
Yeah, Honestly not a bad take.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Yeah, it's a good take.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Thank you Me is offensively bad.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
It makes our job harder.
How do we defend that when thatis the single Spelling is fun?
Spelling is fun, yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
That one alone it just makes it sound so childish,
so painful it's such a bad song.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Yeah, but anyway, yeah, it's just too much.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
Well, let's then go into a nonTaylor album.
So, megan, like I said, I thinkyou probably have one of the
wider knowledges of music ofpeople I know.
Um, so what is your favoritenon Taylor album that has come
out recently?

Speaker 2 (14:42):
So, recently honestly I would say mayhem by lady Gaga
.
That came out in March and likeI still have that heavy in my
rotation whenever I'm listeningto music like there's not a skip
on it.
It is so good.
I personally think it's herbest album um and I was never
like a huge like gaga stan, likewhen she first came up, like I
mean she's kind of odd, you know, but like we don't know why she

(15:04):
was doing it.
She's making a name for herself.
One of my uh, one of my reallygood friends, jack.
He has loved her since day oneand he's like really gotten me
into her over the years and, yeah, like hands down 10 out of
10 album.
I hope it wins out in the airat the Grammys.
Honestly.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Oh, what a take.
Yeah, I love Gaga.
I feel like her messages arealways super positive.
My sister's actually also, cause I feel like she, with the
girls when we were younger, loved those songs because they
were always so empowering.
I think she'd be great to seelive.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
That's definitely a show I'd want to see oh 100% If
you.
I think it's on HBO Max herChromatica Ball like concert
film.
I watched it like a few monthsago.
It was so good.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Shout, oh, shout out.
She's definitely a real artist.
I respect her too.
She's a true artist.
Multi-talented too, like, andshe can do like any genre, like
even her jazz albums with TonyBennett.
Like I've listened to thosewith my dad and even he was like
wow, this is like really good,I'm like I know she can do
anything.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Um, I loved her.
In a star is born.
I thought she was so goodLiterally.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
I played that for three months straight, I kid you
not so good so good Headinginto performance.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
What is your favorite ?
Taylor performance.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
When you sent me this list of questions, my immediate
thought was all too well herGrammys performance, like with
you know, the hair flipping andeverything I'm like.
Come on Also.
Like specifically to the reptour Flipping and everything I'm
like.
Come on Also.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
like specifically to the rep tour, I did something
bad from the rep tour.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Oh, I love that one.
So good, so good For like morerecent ones, like, if we're
going specifically like ErrorStore performances.
I loved what she did with.
Look what you Made Me Do withlike the whole stage.
Yeah, All of her personas likein glass boxes, being like

(16:53):
pushed around the stage likekiller um, vigilante shit.
I mean the chair is iconic, ohyeah.
And then um, who's afraid, alittle of me like oh, I mean
that one is so good.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
So, yeah, yeah, you saw it live right?

Speaker 1 (17:01):
yes, yeah, it was like the best thing that's ever
happened to me megan went to thevery last show of the heiress
tour I know I forgot about that, and what was it?

Speaker 3 (17:10):
vancouver, yeah, yeah amazing.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah, great picks, great picks.
Favorite concert that you'vebeen to non-taylor I literally
had to rack my brain.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
I wrote a list of every single concert I've been
to.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
I've been like 50 concerts so, like it's so hard,
I would expect nothing less sowe're getting five.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
So, like my male equivalent of Taylor is Ed
Sheeran, I'm such a stan it likejust mind blowing how good he
is Super talented.
Definitely definitely up there.
I see Halsey every time shetours.
She's really really good live.
Same with 21 Pilots.
I know they're a little bitlike alternative.
Pink is insane.
Um, just like I didn't knowreally what I was expecting, but

(17:53):
uh, I think it was last year Iwent to t-pain and pitbull.
They like oh my god, finneycenter literally insane.
It was so good people put onsuch a good show like a shout
out.
Mr 305 like too, was alsoawesome I saw him at.
Mohegan suns was a smallervenue crushed it.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I mean, I'm not surprised, but I'm not I, you
know I christina's beef with jtI have beef yeah, um, what about
question five?
Someone that you haven't seenlive yet that you would love to
see?

Speaker 2 (18:25):
again, like I've been a stan of them since I've come
up.
I've always wanted to seeparamore live.
Have yet to do it I was sojealous that like they were the
opener for the european shows, because I didn't get to go to
those for taylor, my biggestregret of someone I've always
wanted to see and I know she'snever going to tour again celine
dion.
I'm so sad I've messed up.

(18:46):
I should have gone the lasttime she came to boston Didn't
go, for whatever reason.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
It's okay.
Did you?
Did you watch her bio, Did you?
Yeah, I heard it was reallyhard to watch.
It was like it was genuinelylike heartbreaking.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
She has this condition.
Yeah, it's called stiff personsyndrome.
So like basically like anymuscle in her body can like lock
up at any time, like includinglike her like throat, vocal
cords, whatever.
So she like, oh like, obviouslyshe takes medicine for it.
She like gets these likemassages that like are like full
body.
Um, it's just like that'sterrifying.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Like I can't even imagine living with something
like that I was me and melissadid go to that show.
I don't want to rub it in, butbut yeah, it's all good yeah it
was For those who can't see.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Megan looks like she's about to cry.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Celine is a big name in our home, in our family's
overall household.
I feel like Celine ends upplaying late night at Christmas
pretty much every single year.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
I'm pretty sure Melissa ends with her every
single Christmas.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Melissa Respect much every single year.
I'm pretty sure Melissa endswith her every single Christmas.
Melissa, respect Melissa Lynn.
There was a period of timewhere all of these TikToks came
out of people singing CelineDion is all coming back to me
now.
Melissa McLean originated thatthis girl loves nothing more
than to have some wine and justpretend she's Celine Dion and
I'm right there with her.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Megan is also.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Same same.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
The best one.
The best rendition, though, shedid was this past Christmas,
where she forced Brendan, myboyfriend, to dance with her and
literally she was singing hisface appalled, absolutely
appalled, that he did not knowany words and she was like come
on, Brendan, it's Celine.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
And I was just like oh, my God, yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Classic.
Come on, brendan, it's Celineand I was just like, oh my god,
yeah, classic.
Thank god, brendan's such alove, like a lovable happy drunk
and was actually scolding himin real time.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
She's like Brendan, get it together yeah, that's
exactly what she said get ittogether hilarious hilarious,
hilarious.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Um well, I'm actually really excited because I'm
going to see one of my top liketop three artists that I've
never seen live, that I'vewanted to.
I'm going to their concert nextweek Goo Goo Dolls they're
amazing not wait.
All right, let's keep it moving.
Question number six uh, we'regoing to keep on the Taylor
theme for the next few rapidfire.
What would be your ultimatesurprise songs?

Speaker 2 (21:03):
death by a thousand gods, like if I could belt out
that that'll be good one live inconcert.
I just can't.
That would just be such anamazing experience.
I would have loved to getMary's song.
I love that song so much.
Mary's song Ugh, I would playit.
It's like a deep cut.
I would have loved to getSparks Fly After TTPD came out.
I would have said like Guiltyas Sin, right when you Left Me

(21:26):
from Evermore.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
Obviously like Treacherous.
You're losing me, like I.
They're just vibes.
I would have loved to hearthose.
I would love to belt those out.
What did she play?

Speaker 2 (21:37):
at the last show I don't remember the last the
vancouver, um.
So the first mashup was newromantics and a place in this
world, which I loved because Ilove both those songs, um.
And then the final one was longlive new year's day and the
manuscript, which all made sense.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
I mean kind of tying everything together.
Question number eight countryTaylor or pop Taylor?

Speaker 2 (21:56):
I mean I have to go with pop Taylor but, like I said
, I stand by Fearless, one of myfave Taylor albums.
But overall I would say pop.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Agreed Same.
We love this question.
What is your favorite Taylormusic video?

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Look what you Made Me Do.
I mean come, come on like she's, yeah, on for like three years.
The amount of easter eggs inthat video were like it made my.
I got a headache trying tofigure them all out.
Um, and then the second one Ithought I've always loved the
out of the woods video like thelandscapes, like just the
scenery, like the wolves chasingher, like it's such a simple
video honestly, like when you'rejust sitting there watching it,
but like it's really not like Idon't know.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
It's like such a good contrast it like portrays the
song so well yes, um last, butnot well last, taylor question.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
This is a doozy.
Your top three, top three, butI'm going to challenge you to to
limit it to three.
I just want to see, we're aboutto hear 10.
I just want to see if she can.
I love your preparedness.
I love it.
It's an impossible question.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
It's literally an impossible question.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
I understand.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Write that many down for this so I can.
I can whittle it down.
You're losing me Absolutely outthere.
I think that is her bestwritten song of all time.
Like I will.
I think I would also takeMary's song like, genuinely oh
my God, that's a great song.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
It puts me in my feels.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
It is such a good song and like the whole song is
like a complete story.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
It's so shitty.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
It's so Taylor.
It's so Taylor.
Okay, I feel like I got to justgo with like a mainstream one,
even though I don't really wantto, but like my gut's telling me
I should like it's just like.
It's a no-skip for me.
It makes me so happy, nostalgicoh, it's just such a good song.
That was also my favorite set.
Honestly, like before ttpd wasput in, um, like the nostalgia

(23:44):
it just like was oozing.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
It was so good, yeah, so good, you like a lot of same
ones as gina, yes, and me, buthonestly, gina had my favorite
draft list.
Everyone likes.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Gina's.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Everyone likes mine too.
No one likes yours.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
People like mine.
I can never.
Okay, fine, yeah, mine's alwayslike the least liked, but it's
whatever.
It's my list, okay, final threequestions.
We have one more music, oneRumors have it.
We threw this in because thisweek, lindsey Buckingham and
Stevie Nicks there are rumorsthey are the lead singer or two

(24:21):
of the founding members ofFleetwood Mac, famously in a
relationship, and then theiralbum Rumors was famously
inspired partly by their breakup.
Rumors are having it onlinethat there could be a reunion
with these two, which is veryexciting.
So the question is, megan, whatis your favorite Fleetwood Mac
song and do you know, did youhear that, that there was rumors

(24:43):
of them?

Speaker 2 (24:44):
oh yes and I can tell you exactly why.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Oh my god, tell us everything it's happening.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Oh yeah, so uh, and you can even double check it on
Spotify.
There's a countdown.
So in 1973, before they joinedFleetwood Mac, um, they released
an album just the the two ofthem called Buckingham Nicks and
literally like the only personI know that owns that album is
literally my dad, that album isliterally like you can't find it
anywhere.
It was never on streaming.

(25:09):
You can't even like buy aphysical copy anymore.
Like they took it out ofcirculation.
Wow, now, fast forward to Ithink it's September 25th this
year they are releasing a 2025remastered edition of it.
So now the general public canyou know, listen to it again and
enjoy it again.
So that's what they're doing.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Oh, is the album good ?

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Yes, so I'm excited that I can add that to my
Spotify library.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Shout out to your dad Wow, spotify library.
Shout out to your dad, wow, yeah.
Shout out to your dad, andthanks for the tea.
I'm excited about that.
That'll be good.
Yeah, what.
What is your favorite?

Speaker 2 (25:43):
uh, favorite fleetwood song the first one I
feel like I have to say islandslide.
I know it's basic, but likethat, was always my mom and I
song growing up so like thatkind of has, like a
sentimentality, to it so I feellike I have to shout that out.
But honestly, like some of myfavorite songs are like the
deeper cuts, Like I love BigLove.
That's one of the songs thatLindsey Buckingham is the lead

(26:04):
vocalist on Love.
That song A really deep cut ismy Little Demon.
Literally no one knows thatsong.
It's amazing.
Go your Own Way classic.
I don't know.
I feel like for favorite Stevieand favorite Christine McVie
like lead singer song you MakeLove and Fun for Christine.
And then I love Gold Dust Woman, great one.

(26:25):
Oh my God.
Like that just shows, like it'sjust full Stevie witchiness
vibes.
Like it's just insane.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
It's like her reputation.
What about Dreams?

Speaker 2 (26:34):
I love Dreams.
I mean, that's the thing Like Ilove all like the ones that
everyone like I love dreams, Ilove everywhere, I love the
chain, I love rihanna, but likeI was trying to, I don't know,
but it's like, but like I feellike most, most artists.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
I mean, maybe it's just for like for taylor, like
everyone knows for taylor, likeher, commercial songs are not
her best ones most of the time.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Yeah, so it sounds like that is similar for
fleawood mac yeah, I feel like I, I feel like they're just like
they're one of those people likeI describe artists as either
being like singles artists orlike an album artist, like
they're an artist like everysingle song.
Very good.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
That's a good way to describe people.
Single or albums, people, Iwould say.
You make love and fun isdefinitely like my top.
But gold, um, yes, gold dustwoman.
I was like I couldn't rememberthe middle one that was featured
on a scene, um, in daisy jonesand the six and it was like such
a perfect placement of it.
I love when you have a greatsong set to a scene and that was

(27:29):
like one of the first times Ihad heard that song in a long
time and, oh my god, I wentthrough a round of songs with
that.
Um, go back and let that it's.
It's really good.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
I love that show and book.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Yeah, Same same.
All right, Last two.
If you could only watch oneprofessional sports team, excuse
me, what would it be?

Speaker 2 (27:47):
I feel like it would have to be like the Patriots.
I mean, I've always loved likeI love all Boston sports, but
like basket, I would usuallychoose, like if you'd asked me,
like four years ago, I probablywould have said Celtics, but
like just the NBA in general, like really irks me with how
many fouls they call, and it'sjust like all the threes.
So I feel like I would have tosay the Pats because, like you'd

(28:09):
see other football teams andlike I enjoy football, I feel
like I'd have to be Patriots andlast but certainly not least,
question number 13.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Um, what is your favorite Boston championship
moment?
We've just had so many.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
I mean honestly, like always, celtics was insane Like
KG, like anything's possible.
Come on, like amazing.
Honestly, like I cried when theBruins won for the first time
and like God knows how manyyears, 2011, beating the Canucks
, like love that moment.
And honestly, like 0-4 Red Sox,you have to put it up there
like oh yeah you know, I feellike the 0-4 Red Sox is such a

(28:45):
good one.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
It was like a little bit before I mean I was 14, I
think.
So I cared, but not as much asI would have probably as an
adult.
I think I'm going to go the 28three Superbowl.
I remember watching that athome with my dad.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
We turned it off at one point and then turned it
back on that was so painful towatch, like it was good at the
end, but like the wholeexperience wasn't good.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Maybe I should specify fourth quarter of that
game.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, this was so much fun, megan, we are so happy that you
were able to make it on the pod.
We hope you had a good time.
You'll have to come back andjoin us again, especially for
some of our Taylor talk, becauseyou have some great takes.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
One of our ideas was to like have you talk about,
like critique our draft picks.
I feel like we should do thatnext time.
Yeah, Because I heard I heardthat you were surprised I picked
.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Cruel Summer number one and I was like what, yeah,
you don't love, cruel Summer, myfriend and I, no, I liked the
song, but my friend and Ithought that it was kind of a
wild first pick.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
I did say Brit, her face right now.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
I'm just trying to understand.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
No, like I fully think it should have been
drafted.
I just thought number one waskind of crazy.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
But let me ask you this, bright, if you got the
number one, if you got to gofirst, would you have taken
Cruel Summer first?

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Or would you?

Speaker 1 (30:04):
have taken Style or All Too Well.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
I feel like I'm obligated to take All Too Well
10 minutes first.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Yeah.
I would feel that obligationtoo.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
So I kind of don't like being well, not that I
don't want all 12, all 12, 10,but like I'm not like butthurt
if I'm not number one.
Yeah, their other big take wasthat we didn't have you're
losing me, or maybe that wasmore Malina Fair.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
That's fair.
Yeah, oh, malina was likeflabbergasted.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
I mean fair but that's all we have time for
today.
Thanks everyone for listeningin.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Uh, we will be back on Friday with another episode
and yeah, follow us on socialtech talk and Instagram at
snitch and pod, repost us, Telleveryone you know about us.
Um and yeah, have a great day.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
