Speaker 2 (00:07):
And Brittany, get ready for the best part of your
day.
Actually, though, I should besaying the second best part of
your day, because the best partof our day is going to be the
TS12 announcement at 7 pmtonight.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Oh yeah, it's red alert, or maybe we should say
orange alert.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Orange alert we are the inferior podcast Run.
Don't walk to the New Heightspodcast and then listen to this
one.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
For sure.
Yeah, you know that we'retalking TS12, major news the new
album announcement.
It's what all the Swifties werehoping for.
I feel like a lot of the timesSwifty fan theories don't pan
out, and this one was right onthe money.
It was like too obvious.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, I mean, I think like once Taylor Nation posted
the like, thinking about whenshe said see you next era, like
that's a true.
Easter egg?
Yeah, for sure, you know what Imean.
Like it's kind of obvious, like, but no one guessed it before
that, right?
But yeah.
So I mean I feel like I'msurprised because like I wasn't
expecting new music from her, because I feel like she's just
living her best life and like ifI were her, I'd be taking time
off.
But I'm also not surprisedbecause it's Taylor and it's

(01:17):
crazy that it's been like over ayear since her last album came
out.
So it's time.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah, I saw somewhere that they said it's the longest
like drought of her releasingnew music, which is so I feel
like it doesn't.
Yeah, it doesn't feel like thatthat's what they said.
It's 400 something days sinceshe's put out new music.
So oh, wow, I that could bewrong, but I saw something about
it and I was like that'sinteresting, Cause it she's so
in the news like she's almostoverexposed, that it feels like

(01:46):
she's not.
I was surprised too, I guess, but well, so obviously for this
episode, no surprise you guys,we're going to talk a lot about
this.
We're going to talk about someof the Easter eggs, Um, some of
the things that we've seenonline.
We're also going to talk aboutTravis Kelsey.
He did an interview in JQ or gqthat dropped yesterday.
So we're going to talk allthings taylor and travis, um,

(02:08):
and then also a little bit aboutone of our favorite friends,
jan aniston.
She did an interview withvanity fair and she also had
some juicy highlights, so we'regoing to get into all of it oh
wait, actually before we.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Before that though we should say normally we are
doing a guest on wednesday, wedon't have our guests today.
Our guest is going to be be ourfriend Michelle and we're going
to have her on Friday.
So we're just kind offlip-flopping a little this week
, but that will help.
You know, everyone who wants alittle breather from the Taylor
content, that will be yourbreather.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Cool.
So what do you think, BrittLike, what are the biggest
things that stood out to youabout the announcement?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
I am obsessed with her doing it on a podcast
supporting our medium.
I am so excited for the pod forour podcast because I feel like
we are all about to go on awild ride together.
That is TS12 unpackingeverything, but yeah, I mean I'm
pumped.
I'm so excited that it seemslike it's Max Martin and uh
Shellback produced.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
That's one of the things that a lot of people have
picked up on.
So Taylor shared her playlistand baby that show business for
you.
It's 22 songs.
All of those were produced byMax Martin and shell back and if
you're not super in into who'sproducing her albums, these two
were really heavily featured onred 1989 and reputation,

(03:24):
specifically 1989, like 1989, isa big one.
If you go to that playlistyou'll see some of the songs bad
blood, blank space, um, shakeit off style, wildest dreams,
wonderland, new romantics.
All you had to do is stay likemajority of that album, which,
for a lot of people, I thinkit's one of their favorites.
It's definitely one of ourfavorites.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
I, or at least yeah, it's her biggest album.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I would say it's pretty unanimous it just like,
hit after hit, bop after bop.
I feel like a lot of Swiftiesprobably have mixed feelings
about the fact that JackAntonoff and Aaron Dessner are
no longer on, or who are no,they're not on this album.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I bet they still could be, though I don't think
that means they're not on it.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I.
You know what, though even ifthey weren't like, I'm okay with
it.
I know Same Like.
I think Erin and her have someof the best like lyrical songs
Like the song writing Totally.
You know I think of him, I thinkof the folklore evermore era
and that was awesome for what itwas.
But I'm really happy that itseems like this album is going

(04:29):
to be super upbeat, really popheavy, which I mean we all know
Travis.
He's very vocal about hisfavorite song being blank space
and you know she's like justit's.
I hope it's like a celebrationof just everything that she's
accomplished in the last twoyears.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I think it's just gonna be very happy poppy and
I'm ready for that yeah, and Ifeel like the name is like spot
on, like life of a show girl.
This album is gonna be aboutthe heiress tour and like her
experience during it, whetherit's like about the actual show
or just like what was going onthen.
But, like we always say, it'sso fun when you think like, whoa

(05:05):
, what music is like this Taylorgonna write Because, like the
Taylor from a few years ago waswriting this new album, so
that's the Taylor that was inthe peak of her Erez tour
existence, so it's gonna be good.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yeah, I definitely think so.
Did you see that the?
I mean it's alleged, but thetrack list was leaked?
No, you see that the?
Um, I mean it's alleged, butthe track list was leaked.
No, here.
So the track list.
I mean it's alleged, but uh,I've seen it in places online.
It's probably right.
They she always kind of there'salways some type of leak.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
I feel like every, almost every album, and I also
think, I think that happens withany artist like I feel like,
just because she's so big, thatwould happen totally.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
And one of my favorite parts I feel like, just
because she's so big, thatwould happen Totally, and one of
my favorite parts I feel likeevery time she releases an album
is I love seeing the track listand seeing which ones I think
are going to be really good.
So there's 12 tracks that wereleaked.
Here are the titles Fate ofOphelia, elizabeth Taylor I
think it's going to be a similarvibe to Clara Bow, maybe like

(06:04):
her relating herself toElizabeth and like Elizabeth
Taylor famously, was married abunch of times was very well
known for her private life.
You know just as much as herpublic acting life, so I could
see Taylor doing that.
The next one I don't even knowwhat this word means.
No surprise.
Opalite Nope, O-P-A-p-a-r-t.

(06:26):
Actually.
Let me give that a quick google.
Opalite, a man-made syntheticglass that is often used as an
affordable alternative tonatural opal due to its similar
appearance.
So it's a fake oh, interesting,interesting.
I mean, we're definitely gonnabe learning about the english
language with this album always, but I wonder what that could be

(06:49):
like a metaphor for, uh,someone who's like impersonating
her, like someone, like a fake.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yeah, like a fake, like it makes me think of like
what did she say?
Counter what?

Speaker 1 (06:58):
um, because something counterfeits, dead, oh yeah
yeah, something like that trackfour father figure um, that's
awesome what's five?
yeah well, father figures kindof had a resurgence also because
it was featured on that movie, baby girl with nicole kidman and
um harris dickinson, I don'tknow that's.

(07:19):
It was kind of like an indiemovie, but it came out this year
and that song was like I justkept hearing it all over social.
Oh so you think you think it'sa cover?
I don't know.
I mean, I wonder if she's.
I saw that maybe she samples it, cause it's a George Michael
song, like if there's a partthat she sampled, cause that's a
pretty famous song title, youknow.
Like, obviously she's not, that's not lost on her Right?

(07:46):
Yeah, true, but anyway we'llsee track five.
So swifty's we all know, and ifyou're a non-swifty, track five
is historically her mostpersonal song, most emotional um
, some of the ones that we'veseen before, my tears ricochet.
A lot of people think that's ametaphor for her, like divorce
from in death, basically um fromscott borchetta, so long london
delicate.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, tolerate it.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
It's called all too well, all too well, that's kind
I feel like that's really it'scalled all too, well, All too
well.
That's kind of I feel likethat's really where it started.
Was all too well for red.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
No, well, no, she was doing it like by accident.
No, the first album.
It's cold as you.
The second album is white horse.
I think speak now is dear John,1989.
It doesn't track because it'sall you had to do is stay and it
should be out of the woods 100.
And then Delicate.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
But, yeah, she started doing it intentionally
and love her.
Okay, good to know.
I didn't realize that.
Well, number five for thisalbum is Oldest Daughter, ooh,
mm-hmm.
So we'll see Number six, thisone.
I'm curious if it could be anod to Blake Lively ruin the
friendship.
Oh, I mean you think theirfriendships ruined?

(08:55):
They haven't been seen togetherin a long time and I feel like
they've always been very publicin New York.
They're always getting dinner.
Ever since the Justin Baldonistuff, it's been radio silence.
Yeah, true, and I mean Taylordoesn't mess around with shit
like that, like when you're ohno, she calls people out.
Yeah, well, I mean, especiallyif Blake's like texts about her
being a dragon or something orleads like I could see her.

(09:17):
Oh yeah, I could see it beingkiboshed.
Okay, next one Actuallyromantic.
I love that that name.
Oh yeah, I like that one too.
It's like the real deal.
Then next is Wishlist.
Then the word would, but it'sW-O-O-D.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Oh, okay, that's what I thought.
When you first said would Ithought W-O-O-D, but now I get
it, not W-O-U-L-D.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Right, okay, number.
What is this then?
10, canceled with anexclamation point Hmm, uh, 11,
honey, uh.
And number 13,.
The title track, the Life of aShowgirl, featuring Sabrina
Carpenter.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Oh, I could see Sabrina Carpenter being on it.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, I definitely.
I mean, if this is, I really dothink this is the leaked track
list, it's just it's toospecific, you know.
So so, yeah, I'm pumped forthat.
I love, I love Breener.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
I wonder if that means like it's gonna be
released soon though, because Ialways think like the stuff gets
leaked when, like the albumsstart like going to stores well.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
so I've seen I mean I don't know what you've seen
online about this.
Obviously, the swifties havebeen hard at work decoding and,
per usual, there's like a 17million theories.
Not all of them are right, butI did see this, this one that
there's a theory that the albumwill drop on September 12th.
Obviously it's the 12th album.
It was shared at 1212 onInstagram and I guess her

(10:47):
website crashed at 912 pm andTaylor Nation posted something
at 912 pm.
So I mean, who knows, who knows?
But hopefully I think it willget announced tonight.
Yeah, I'm sure she'll give usmore details for sure that would
be so great for us.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I was thinking what a great start to your 35th year.
I know, Literally the day afteryour birthday, a new era starts
.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
We are in a new era, it's very symbolic and I was
thinking this and Gina texted methis Orange is like kind of a
significant color in my life.
Oh true, yeah, I have a lot oforange, because my alma mater,
clemson, is orange.
I worked at a company for along time that was the logo's
orange, so I just had a lot oforange clothing in my wardrobe.

(11:35):
So, yeah, I'm here for it, I'mall about this orange You're
also like.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Your coloring is like one of the few people that can
like pull off orange.
Thank you, Brett, that's theother thing.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
But yeah, I'm so excited to see.
Well, actually, one other thing, another theory that I saw I
think you saw it too was thatthis might be a collab album, I
feel like with the track list.
Besides Sabrina, no, but I dothink it's notable that Stevie
Nicks posted something aboutWednesday on her Instagram.

(12:05):
Florence and the Machine postedsomething also, even if it
wasn't like a full collab album.
I would love if those two werefeatured this time.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Oh same.
Yeah, I do not want a fullcollab album, I'll, I'll say
that, but I would love, yeah, like a few songs.
Stevie nicks would be great.
We've already had florence.
Yeah, I feel like sabrinacarpenter is gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Um me too.
So, yeah, I'm with you.
I don't think it's gonna befull, like if this is about her
and this is like the peak.
I feel like this is her.
She's literally peaking rightnow.
I mean we say that every time, but I feel like, personally,
this is a peak for her.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
So I mean I don't know, though she.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
We always think it's her peak, I know it's so true.
Anything else that you sawonline that you thought was like
interesting or caught yourattention um I thought it was
really cool how they lit up theempire, state building orange I
know that was cool.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
I'm trying to think of what else I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
I saw a few things.
I thought.
So this one.
I don't think there's anynecessarily like legs to it, but
I just kind of loved it.
Someone found out that I thinkthey Googled Life of a Showgirl
and what came up was Life ofPablo, the Kanye West album that
featured the song famous whichobviously her taylor and kanye
got into like a huge falling outafter that.

(13:23):
Um, or it was you know one ofmany things, but that album was
orange oh, interesting, right umour queen crazy.
She does nothing if not hold agrudge yeah, we fucking love it.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
She makes holding a grudge like okay, acceptable.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised by that in the
slightest.
Also, I saw that someone saidthe last day of the Heiress Tour
.
Like I guess I didn't evennotice this, but the midnight
set of the Heiress Tour, whichis the last set of the heiress
tour, there was starting.
I want to say they said in,like Europe, there was an orange

(14:02):
door that was behind them andthey never walked through it.
No one really.
There was no significance to it.
But on December 8th, 12, eight, the last day of the heiress
tour, her and her band, whenthey left and exited the stage,
walked through the door.
So, god, yeah, I'm telling you, swifty's out here doing god's
work.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
They I know.
Sometimes, though, I'm like Ifeel like that's just
coincidence, but that, yeah, Imean that's.
I also saw she apparently likethe miami shows.
The shows we were at were likewhen she wore orange, and the
1989 set specifically, she worelike, uh, mint, green and orange
costume and what was it?

(14:42):
She like posted.
I remember I remember this post.
She was holding the cat and itwas like in hard rock stadium
and she's like back in theoffice because it was like back
in the american leg of the tour.
But I wonder if that meant likeback in the office, like back in
the recording studio.
And I guess that meant likeback in the office, like back in
the recording studio, and Iguess she was like standing in
front of a12 I saw that too.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Yep, yeah, I could see it, we were at those shows.
Yep, yeah, I know, you meanlike a lot of it.
People are saying like thiscould be linked to the anti-hero
music video because she waswearing orange and green.
Like, maybe you know, but Ifeel like with those who cares,
like, even if she was, those arethe fan theories.
And green, like, maybe you know, but I feel like with those who
cares, like, even if she was, those are the fan theories, that
I'm like whatever.
But I did see also that theteaser trailer and we can talk a

(15:25):
little bit like go into Travis, but the teaser trailer for her
appearance on new heights, whereshe says the thing to him like,
oh, that color looks so nice onyou.
It was 13 seconds, no surprise.
Oh, my God, wow, yep, and Iguess, um, oh, this was a theory
I had.
Just like.
My first thought was like, oh,I'm not surprised that she's

(15:47):
doing orange.
The chief's colors are red andyellow.
They made.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
You said that on Monday.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah, that was like my first thought about this.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Um, I feel like I actually haven't seen people
talking about that.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
And there was something also this one I'm not
sure it was just seen online, sowho knows but that announcement
, I guess that New Heights clipbecame the most viewed video
ever by a single account on anysocial media platform in any
singular day, with over 167million views.
Wow, I believe it.
Yeah, Pretty crazy, Just likethe the power this has, and I

(16:21):
think it's so smart that they'redoing it in this platform.
Like people are aching to seeher.
She really does like long forminterviews at all anymore and
she doesn't do a ton of talkshow late night show appearances
Like I've seen her on JimmyFallon, but overall like she

(16:42):
doesn't really do a ton of thatanymore and I feel like it's
like we're all salivating.
It's going to be so good.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
I can't wait to see just like the dynamic between
the three of them.
You know, yeah, yeah Same.
I mean we've never seen her andTravis like have a conversation
, exactly I know, or like heardtheir conversation.
I saw online that a lot ofpeople thought like that intro,
when she was like, oh, I likethe color of your shirt, and he
was like it matches you.
It's like people think that'slike lyrics or something which I
was like oh, I could see thatpart of it being like a lyric,

(17:06):
because it was kind of likeweirdly specific.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Yeah, no, I mean, and we all know it's everything she
does is so intentional.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I loved the clip that theydropped today.
First off, jason.
Jason's the best.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
And he's funny.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
He's hilarious.
His intro was everything thatshe deserved and her response
about, you know, male sportsfans wanting to see her more in
their screens and spaces wasvery funny and very
self-deprecating and she's veryself-aware, which that's, I
think, been like a key to hersuccess in general.
She's very well aware of likeher reputation and I love that

(17:43):
she did that.
I think it made her immediatelylike more likable for people
who might be rolling their eyesand, you know, are like over it.
Do you think she's going totour?

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Um, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
I don't know.
I mean, I feel like, no, Idon't know why it Um, I don't
know, I don't know, I mean Ifeel like, no, I don't know why
it's.
It would be a lot to do thatagain.
I could see her maybe doingkind of a lover fest deal where
she does a few select shows butnot a full blown tour.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Good luck getting tickets to that.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yeah, I know, but, travis, you know he came out
also with an interview with GQis published yesterday, august
12th, um, and he talked a littlebit about his time with Taylor.
Just, you know how being withsomeone who's in the spotlight
and who gets it is, like youknow, really, really great.
They also asked him about themedia scrutiny, um, and he says

(18:31):
you know, does he pay attentionto it?
He says quote you can't blockthat out.
If someone says something thatthey don't like about you, you
have to be able to understandhow you're portraying yourself
for them to say that I'm a guywho doesn't want anyone to say
anything negative about me.
Some people don't give a fuck.
I'm someone who cares.
He also said earlier in theinterview I've become way more
strategic in understanding whatI am portraying to people.
I have a good understanding ofhow I want to be portrayed.

(18:54):
Taylor taught him that.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
No doubt in my mind, yeah, no doubt in my mind.
And because she cares.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yeah, and I like that they say that they care.
I mean, on the one hand, youdon't want to care what people
think and obviously they don'tlet it affect like what they're
actually doing.
But I think it's relatable tosay like I'm someone who does
care and also I'm not going tojust say like everyone's a hater
.
I'm going to start thinkinglike what's making me, what am I
doing that's making people saythat, and like that's a really

(19:23):
great way to be, like way totake it on the chin and not like
I just liked that.
I liked that he said that wholepiece.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Yeah, it's easy to blame, like the bots and shit,
but um, but yeah, I mean he'sdoing a great job yeah,
definitely he was um the shoot.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
The photos of it were pretty interesting.
He was styled by la roach, whois zendaya's stylist, like very
famous for working with zendaya.
The looks were out there andnot my favorite.
He was like in like a fur codeand I don't know.
It was go take a look at thepics.
But oh yeah, this is weird, notmy you know, definitely out

(20:00):
there, but go big or go home.
I guess the only other thing Ireally took away from the
interview is it seems like Icould see this being his last
year, you know, playing for histeam.
It's his 13th year and he's didsay that the last two years he
wasn't like totally a hundredpercent.
He said you know, he's startingto set himself up thinking

(20:21):
about after football and maybehe wasn't a hundred percent
where he knows that he needs tobe, so he's like really getting
back to it to send it this yearfor his team and show up for the
guys.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
So yeah, just another kid.
So much pressure.
I know like imagine the wholeworld watching you oh, I know
totally crazy.
Um, do you think this album isgoing to be like mostly about
him?
It seemed like from the titlesyou read, there was a lot of
like family mentions I don'tknow.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
I mean I could, I could see, like low key, you
know, some of the ones that wethink maybe could be pointing to
, like how the media portraysher like the Elizabeth Taylor
actually being like a love song, like a love song to Travis
because she's finally found theone, or almost romantic.
I feel like that's prettypretty much an ode, honey.
You know, I just don't know.

(21:16):
Like, yeah, I know it's so hardto know from the the song titles
but I think, like she wants, she wants to celebrate the
relationship, like she's had allthese albums about these
relationships that have failedand all these things, like I
think she's probably itching toput something out that's
representative of therelationship she's in now.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
So like we said, I feel like she just pumps out
music.
She can just pump out an album.
One thousand A Grammy winningalbum it's crazy.
But yeah, I mean we'rebenefiting now because we're
getting so many more albums, because I feel like she doesn't
have to do all that press andstuff anymore and she has like
way more creative and artisticfreedom and yeah, it's fun, it's

(21:54):
fun for the Swifties.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Yeah, we're getting fed.
Yeah, we're getting fed.
Yeah.
Someone else I saw somewheretoo said that there's really not
like a song of the summer.
I think a lot of people thoughtmaybe it would be Bieber's
daisies, but that they're likelast year.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Then you put out UConn.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yeah, I know, I know, but well, but then also they
were cause, like last year, theywere like espresso was really
the song of the summer, likemaybe man child, but even on the
skim they were talking aboutthat how they kind of posed it
as like more of a societalthreat, the fact that everyone
now is streaming their own music.
We don't have like a collectivesoundtrack that everyone's

(22:31):
listening to, which I thoughtwas kind of an interesting take.
But they were saying, like isthat something for the future?
But you know, maybe taylor cangive us the song of the summer.
Yeah, if anyone could do it,it's her I mean, we say that,
though, but her singles alwaysare historically trash oh, yeah,
her singles yeah, true, true sotaylor, let's like you know she

(22:51):
could if she, if she wanted to,and do it right, she could, she
definitely could she definitelycould.
Let's you just keep that in theback of our minds.
Let's pick a good single.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
I hope the video.
I hope if she does music videosthey're not like way over the
top.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Like Bejeweled is like too much for me, karma too
much.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
I feel like I've only watched the Karma music video
like one time maybe.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
Same.
It's like with oh my God, is itIce Spice?
Is that her name?
Yeah, and they're like on acanoe at one point and she's
like in an hourglass at onepoint.
I don't know, that's all Iremember.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah, not memorable, but yeah, we cannot wait.
7 pm tonight we're going to besat, so we're definitely going
to have thoughts on, you know,on the announcement, and we'll
be sharing those with you guys,of course.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
And we will be bringing you right along on this
journey that is TS12.
This is just the beginning.
This is just the beginning.
There's still going to be lotsto unpack, lots to uncover.
I don't even know how we'regoing to do an episode like
reviewing the album.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Because, like like, you can't review it right away I
know well, I'm like let's letit sink in.
We'll.
We'll cross that bridge when itcomes, hopefully exactly
september 12th.
But the only other thing wehave really for you for today is
we do have a favorite friendbernie and I are huge friends,
fans and jen aniston is in thenews because she did an
interview with vanity fair, um,and there was just some cute
like tidbits that we wanted tojust touch upon.
So, first thing is she did aninterview, but then she also did

(24:35):
one of those things it's like a12 minute thing where she
watches clips from over hercareer and then comments on them
.
She did one where she talkedabout the episode with the
trifle from friends, which wascute, oh cute.
Yeah.
She talked about how, like mattleblanc and david schumer
couldn't get through that wholeepisode, like that tape,
especially when they were eatingthe trifle and joey's like it,

(24:56):
artist ross is like it tasteslike feet and he's like meat
good, custard good, ladyfingersgood.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
I think it was in the opposite order of that, but
yeah hilarious.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
But she said that because matt leblanc like
actually ate everything that wasput in front of him.
They just couldn't get throughthe scene.
Um, and she said that how likefriends is.
She was like, oh, it's thegreatest gift, the gift that
keeps on giving she's, and shesays how it was.
You know, such a highlight ofher life, which I just
appreciate because I know, likewe, I love that.
She loves it as much as the, asmuch as the fans.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Right, Like she's not like Justin Timberlake, who is
like I'm better than that now,Totally.
What launched him to fame?
You know?

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Yep, one thousand percent.
She also talked about, you know, the split with Brad, and I
guess this Vanity Fair articlecame out 20 years after the 2005
.
Yeah, 2005 article that wastalking about the breakup.
She says quote it was such ajuicy read for people.
They didn't have their soapoperas, they had their tabloids.

(26:00):
It's a shame that it had tohappen, but it happened, and boy
did I take it personally.
They were sort of building usup and then tearing you down and
she compared herself to apinata.
And then she basically says Ididn't have a strong enough
constitution to not get affectedby it.
We're human beings, even thoughsome people don't want to
believe that we are.
They think you signed up forthis, so you take it, but we
didn't sign up for that.
That, for those who remember, media was spectacle.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I mean like we were young, like we were like what,
nine or something, when theywere married.
Yes, so we like I feel like wehave a limited memory, but I do
remember that Of like I rememberBrad and Jen being huge Huge
them and Suri Cruz, randomly, yes, yes, right, yes, because it

(26:48):
was always like Sur shiloh andyou were like who wait?

Speaker 1 (26:50):
which ones bitch?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but when theywe were, I think, 15 or so,
when they broke up and brad pittwent on to marry angelina jolie
and it's like had an affairwith her on the set of mr and
mrs smith, and I mean it wasjust everywhere in the news.
So you see that I know and Ifeel so bad for her, like she.
She even said like that's whyI'm skeptical to even do

(27:12):
interviews now because, like, just that time was like PTSD.
Basically, everything I wouldsay would get twisted, which you
know.
No, no surprise.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Yeah, Like they're always trying to make it seem
like it's a comment aboutAngelina.
Everyone's asking her aboutthat.
Damn, that's crazy, that I meanI.
It's actually not surprisingthat people still bring that up
to her, but that sucks.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
I know she said that she like there was a clip of the
breakup.
Did you ever watch the movie, the breakup she did with Vince
Vaughn?

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
I don't really remember it, but I watched it
within the last like five yearsor so and damn, it definitely
hits different as an adult, Imean, and for someone who's not
married and hasn't gone througha divorce, like I can't even
relate as much as most people.
But I remember watching itbeing like whoa, that seems
really like it just seems veryrealistic.

(28:03):
And she said that it was reallycathartic because she had just
broken up with brad when she didthat movie and like the
producers almost didn't want herto do it because they thought
asking her might be insensitive, but she knew that it was
actually going to be reallycathartic.
Um, yeah, right.
And the only other thing shekind of said about brad was that
she actually I thought this wasa funny little tidbit Um, so

(28:24):
she's good friends with GwynethPaltrow.
She had, she named, dropped somany of like her besties.
It was like her circle is crazy.
She talked about Sandra Bullock, um Jason Bateman, kimmel and
his wife, um, adam Sandler, LikeI don't know he was.
She was just naming, like Iwant to be invited, right, that
sounds so fun, I know Well.
But then she named, droppedGwyneth Paltrow and she said

(28:44):
that she actually she ironicallymet, or no, she goes ironically
.
I went to Gwen and Brad'sengagement party, which is so
funny, oh, yeah, so funny.
And someone was like do youever talk about Pitt?
And she said oh, of course.
How can you not?
We're girls so interesting, interesting, yeah, so so you

(29:08):
know that's.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
We just love her and yeah, honestly, like I remember,
when I I mean they broke herBrad and Angelina broke up what
a few years ago I felt like Ifelt a real satisfaction for
Jennifer Aniston when thathappened.
Yeah, you know, I know like Irefused to watch that Mr and Mrs
Smith movie.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
It's.
Yeah, I mean I saw it when itcame out, but I mean haven't
seen it since.
We're team Jen.
Oh, we're team Jen, all the way.
She seems like so happy.
When I think of her, I thinklike Zen, you know.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Yeah, she seems like she'd be like cool who like zen,
you know?
Yeah, she seems like she'd belike cool who's like, you know,
a little trendy, like doesthings.
Maybe it's like a little out ofthe box, but like not too much.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
yeah, like yoga oh yeah, loves yoga, happily dating
um a hypnotist so sure oh yeah, why not?

Speaker 2 (30:00):
I am interested to learn more about hypnotism I
would be too, too.
I mean maybe you can gethypnotists on.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Oh my God, great idea .
That would be so cool.
That would be so cool.
I love that.
We should look into that.
I'm going to write that down.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Yeah, like the hypnotist love story.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Oh, my God yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
That was a great book .

Speaker 1 (30:21):
