Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ready, ready.
Hey, everyone, welcome back tothe latest episode of Snitchin'
it's your host, kristen, andBrittany, get ready for the best
part of your day.
Happy Friday, we made it.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Happy Friday.
Snitches Another week down andI feel like we only have like
one official week left of summer, which makes me sad, isn't that
crazy.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
I feel like the summer flew by.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yeah, I mean.
August itself always flies byExactly like a bottle of wine.
It's like the perfect analogy.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Like a bottle of wine .

Speaker 2 (00:34):
You think you start that bottle of wine, you're like
I got so much to drink.
And then an hour later you'relike, oh shit, where'd it go?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Oh my God girl, I know that feeling so bad, it's
just like August.
It's just like August.
It's just like August, 100%.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
We have a lot of stories to bring you today, but
Brittany did tell me today she'slike, yeah, I said that you owe
the snitches an update oncoffee date man and me, because
I feel like I haven't reallyheard that much about him either
.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah, I've been a little tight-lipped about it
recently, but I do have anupdate.
Actually no-transcript, and Ihad asked him about it, but like

(01:29):
I didn't want to seem to, Imean, I don't know, I just I
kind of lately, you're not goingto be like stay, stay or no
yeah.
So anyway, he came over lastnight and we were talking and I
was like so what's like yourplan?
And he is leaving.
So that's the big news.
He is out of his place nextweek and I think he's doing like

(01:50):
a couple of weeks like acamping trip in the ham and he's
done a bunch of the peaks inNew Hampshire.
He said I got storage for likea month.
I'm going to be up in NewHampshire like hiking, but he
was saying that like he tried tolook at places in Boston but
just I think it's.
He was just like it's just tooexpensive here, like it's so

(02:11):
much more affordable back home.
And I think like that was kindof the big reason.
But I will say, cause he askedme this morning, he was like so
what do you think of our likesituationship?
And I was like well, I thinkit's coming to an end.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
I mean hey, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Though what about Misha Nelly?
I mean, did the same thing.
She was going back to SouthCarolina we all just heard this
story and he was in Boston and Ifeel like they met and they
hung out for like what a couplemonths and she knew she was
leaving, right, yeah, and thenshe left and she ended up coming
back, which I mean I guess isnot the norm, probably like less

(02:45):
likely, but like never saynever, no, a hundred percent,
but it's, it's not.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
it's not just that like maybe because we didn't
really think about like nextsteps I was, if he were to stay,
I think my feeling on it wouldbe I still don't think I'd want
it to be a relationship we justlike never progressed to like
the next level, like we neverreally I mean, we have fun
together, sure, but I feel likein terms of just getting like a

(03:11):
little bit deeper and getting toknow someone a little bit
better, we just never reallylike got there.
So the thing is like, if he didstay, I think I would feel a
little pressure to like, I don'tknow, make it work.
And I was thinking kind ofbeforehand like I don't really
know if it would work long-termregardless.
So it honestly like I felt likewe left it this morning.

(03:34):
We're going to hang out againone more time on Tuesday.
But it was just like a reallyyeah, like it was like a really
sweet conversation and I said, Itold him I was like, honestly,
like I hadn't been, I hadn'tseen someone in a long time and
I was like there is anxietyabout when you start that up
again, like it's just so new.
And I told him I was like Ifeel like you've been just like
so sweet and you've made me feellike so good, like I just feel

(03:56):
like, even though he's not theone, I firmly feel like he has
helped me like progress tofinding like a long-term
relationship.
All the boys I loved before.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I love that oh my.
God, great reference girl.
I actually, low-key love thatsong.
I forgot about it.
But what was I going to say?
So wait, so do you think, like,if there was no element of like
him leaving, like what if youjust met him and he was like,
from around here, like I don'twork, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
I mean hard to say, because I just feel like the
situation lent itself to.
Yeah, it's hard to know, it'shard, yeah, it's hard to know.
This morning he was like if Iwere staying, like I did think,
you know, we could have beenlonger term, so I think.
But then again I don't know ifhe's just kind of saying that
Cause we've already said thatwe're like putting the kibosh,
so who knows.

(04:43):
But I do feel like in my mindwe hadn't really kind of it.
Just this.
It felt kind of like the samehanging out with him now is it
did when we were like firsthanging out, not the first time,
obviously, but like the firstfew times, like in terms of just
, you know, I mean, I know a lotmore about him, but we never
really like yeah, got deeper, got deeper, or whatever.

(05:04):
And yeah, I just don't know howI feel.
like when you date someonecasually and then you think,
okay, dating for the long term,it, it totally like changes
everything in my mind, becausethen I feel like I start
thinking about like just biggerlife, things like and this isn't
a knock on him, I mean at allbut like the fact that he is so

(05:26):
up in the air like it doesn'tbother me now because we're,
it's not going to affect my life.
But if we were dating, I thinkI would probably have more of a
problem with that.
I'd be like okay, we need tolike figure out what you're
doing.
Like I don't know, I just thinkit would have been different.
So at the end of the day, likeI felt like when he left this
morning, I was just like damn,I'm just like so happy that
whole thing happened and I'mhonestly like good with how it

(05:48):
ended.
Like I'm glad it didn't end ona bad note.
If he's ever here, like I was, like you know, hit me up, let's
hang.
But yeah, that's that's thefull story of coffee date man.
What started with a coffee dateBrittany?
is shaking her head.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Another one bites the dust.
Another one bites the dustpeople.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I told him too.
I was like.
My friends and my family arelike dying to meet you at my
birthday.
They were all like wanting meto invite you, whatever.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Well, now he can listen to the pod.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yeah, that's true, I might wait for this episode to
drop like a week, and then yeah, true true, true, true yeah but
I guess it's good, like if youare feeling happy.
I feel like if you like reallyliked him, you would still like
kind of feel sad yeah, no like Ifeel like that says something
yeah, like I almost don't wanthim to listen to this because I
don't want to hurt his feelings, but there was a sense of relief

(06:40):
I think.
Oh well, just because if he hadstayed, like the, I just would
have felt pressure, like I thinkI would have been a part of the
reason why, and that's fine, yeah, that makes sense.
Yeah, that's fine, but alsolike I'm not prepared to say
like regardless, if you stay,I'm I want to you know, like I'm
ready to commit to like aserious.

(07:10):
Yeah, no, I wasn't thereregardless.
So it just felt like it waskind of one of those things
where I didn't want to influencehis decision.
Maybe that made me seem aloof, which I wouldn't be surprised if
it seemed that way, like Inever told him to stay and I
never even leaned into that.
So I don't know if he was likewanting me to say that.
I don't know, but I had afeeling when he wasn't really
bringing it up last week andeven the week before he was sick
last week, but I was kind oflike I feel like it's probably

(07:30):
not going to, he's probably notgoing to stick around here.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, I mean, it was just, it was bad timing.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
I know, but back to the drawing board.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Back to the apps.
Back to the apps back to theapps.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Back to the apps, back to probably some not so
great first dates, but hopefullywe find some gold in there,
like this time, and hopefullysomething longer term.
Yeah, I know I'm excited, what?

Speaker 2 (07:55):
so?
We're having my friendchristiana on and she's single.
In like september we're havingher.
I don't know the exact date, but I feel like she has a ton of
like it's gonna be a goodepisode.
You guys will have a ton ofstories to talk about.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Oh my gosh, I can't wait, me too.
That'll be a good one.
I know it's going to be such agood one.
We have a lot of good onescoming up for you guys.
We have some great guestsslated for September, but but
yeah, that's all that's reallygoing on with me right now.
But I did have bring up is justlike a little anecdote from my
favorite other podcast, armchairExpert.
You know, I mean, it's been aminute since I brought up an

(08:28):
armchair.
Yeah, you haven't brought it up.
You haven't brought it up.
Tidbit, you're going to likethis one.
Okay, so they had an expert onabout serial killers and it was
interesting.
Actually, the one thing I kindof took away from it is that
there's this like influx ofserial killers, I guess in the
Pacific Northwest, washington, Idon't know.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
That's where.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Ted Bundy's from Brittany.
She brought up Ted Bundy andshe said they think part of it
is because there was this likecrazy lead poisoning that was
happening over there at the time.
It just like coincided oh shit, isn't that crazy.
I could see that.
And they said, like for peoplewho have like a predisposition
to already be violent orwhatever, yeah, I can like

(09:08):
enhance it.
So that was that.
I'm going to butcher that, butlike that was a little bit.
But the part that I wasthinking about that I wanted to
ask you do you remember whenlast year on TikTok or just
online, there was that trendabout the Roman Empire?

Speaker 2 (09:22):
No, you don't remember that.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Okay, I like don't go on.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
TikTok that much.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, no, heard, heard, heard, okay.
So basically it was like some,it must've been a group of girls
or one girl.
Her video went viral.
She asked her boyfriend howoften do you think about the
Roman empire?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Oh yeah, I remember this.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Yeah, Okay, yes.
And he said every day.
And then other women startedasking their people, their male
people, and turns out men arethinking about world war two and
the Roman empire all thefucking time.
Like, don't they have like realproblems to think about?
Well, but okay though.
But then Dax being the genius,he is my favorite.
He said well, what do womenthink about all the time, Almost
every day, and I think we'vehad this conversation kidnapped.

(10:01):
He said well, what do womenthink about all the time, almost
every day, and I think we'vehad this conversation kidnapped
getting kidnapped, getting raped, getting assaulted.
Literally any male listenersthat might tune into this
episode, just know that thewomen in your life like anytime
they're walking to a car atnight alone, or maybe if they're

(10:21):
like-.
Anytime you're alone periodTotally.
Anytime you're alone period youare scared, or you're just
aware they're like you're aloneperiod Totally.
Anytime you're alone period youare scared or you're just aware
you're like on the lookout fora potential threat.
Right, and Dax said he thinksit's because, like historically,

(10:43):
the people that were killed inwars were men.
So like men have more of afixation on thinking about that,
like you know, that type ofthing.
And then women are thinkingabout being attacked because,
like we are disproportionatelythe group that is affected in
those types of scenarios whensomeone's getting, like,
sexually assaulted or kidnappedor something along.
Isn't that so true?
I was like Dax, just dropanother like genius, take, take,

(11:05):
yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Well, I always think like I feel like we've talked
about this, but I have like thistheory that, like trauma and
stuff, like you inherit it, likeit doesn't just like go away,
like when you, if like peoplethat were in wars, like men that
were in like world war one andcame back like all fucked up,
like epiphany, I feel like thatjust doesn't like go away, it's
like becomes part of you andlike it like humans are like

(11:28):
inheriting trauma over time andare mentally weaker.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
No, that's so true and it that supports this
hypothesis, that Exactly.
Yeah, well, so then thefollow-up question.
This is like the true questionis there was also around this
time which it missed me, wassomething going around online
where it was like, if you werein the woods alone and you came
across like a strange man, oryou came across a bear, which

(11:54):
one, I know, which one are youmore afraid of?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Yeah, I mean it depends what the man looks like,
but maybe the man.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Isn't that crazy, that's.
I think what a lot of peoplesaid.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
A strange dude in the woods alone.
I mean it is like yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
They could do a lot worse than a bear.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Totally the emphasis being strange.
Like just a regular person inthe woods like sure you'd pick
the guy over the bear, but aweird guy that you stumble
across like no, thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Yeah, like that seems sketchy.
Yeah, that's a good question, though I know it was an
interesting little topic, sointeresting.
It is crazy to think that, likelead poisoning or whatever,
could make people a serialkiller.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
I know.
Well, I feel like you knew thistoo, Cause she was talking
about also like mass shootings, like mass killers, which are
proportionately men who do that,it's like 99% men.
They're looking for likevindication generally, Like she
was saying something along thelines of like they either maybe
were bullied or they're lookingfor like justice in some sense
or like something you know.
They felt that they weresomehow disenfranchised.

(12:59):
They felt that they weresomehow disenfranchised, but
when it comes to like you know, kidnappings and rape and all
that, it's more of a like, alike.
They get like a high every timeit happens.
It's like almost like a likeit's an addiction, yeah,
something like, yeah, kind oflike that, and it's generally
sexual and and it's nature.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
I feel like that's how Ted Bundy was.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
So scary.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
I know it was a really crazy episode, but they
gave me some.
Well glad we don't live there.
Totally transitioning to muchhappier news oh, yeah, let's
talk about something happier.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry, everyone Don't want to bring you
down on this Friday, but, yeah, great news.
Okay.
So we have a couple of like popculture stories.
The first one, millie BobbyBrown, star of Stranger Things.

(13:46):
Her and her husband, jakeBongiovi, are new parents.
They announced that theyadopted their first child on
Instagram.
They said, quote we are beyondexcited to embark on this
beautiful next chapter ofparenthood.
They're pretty young Millie's21, jake's 23, and they got
married secretly in May 2024.
Yeah, they got married quick, right, yeah, they got married

(14:09):
quick, and I think it caughtsome attention because she was
20 years old when she gotmarried.
Yeah, she was young.
Yeah, yeah, I feel like I lovethis.
I love this too.
I love it.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Well, I was going to say, as someone who read demon
Copperhead well, at least halfof it and was like seriously
considering adopting a child, that is still in the back of my
brain and I'm happy for thechildren that need to be adopted
, like celebrities should reallybe adopting children.
They have enough money, theyhave enough resources, they can
have nannies and shit.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Someone's going to adopt these children there's a
lot of babies that need homes.
So, yeah, I I love this too andlike, like I love that.
I mean I feel like I've toldyou the story a million times,
but I worked at thisorganization way back in the day
when early twenties and thefounder of the organization, she
became infertile because shewas a two-time cancer survivor.

(14:58):
Her organization helps youngadults who had cancer and she
was talking to me about heradoption story.
She has two children that sheadopted with her husband and she
said something that stuck.
She was, like, you know, a lotof times when you are talking
about adoption, it almost feelsjust in the way that people
discuss it as like a last resortoption.
And she was very passionate.

(15:19):
She was a huge advocate foradoption and she said, you know,
I never want my kids to havethat feeling that they were like
the last choice for me, so it'sreally important to, like, you
know, just talk about what theprocess looks like and being an
adoptive parent.
And she, you know, obviouslyshe was really passionate.
So, yeah, I think that's toyour point Like it's great to
see a young couple go this path.

(15:40):
And yeah, and she also said, Iguess in like a interview that
she's her and her husband areboth one of four and that her
mom had her first baby at 21 andher dad was 19.
And she was like I've alwayswanted to be a big family.
They live on like a rural farmin Georgia and like literally,
she started like an animalrescue organization and they,

(16:00):
like, live a very domesticatedlife.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, wow, I mean, I know she's still in Stranger
Things, but it must be hard tolive in Georgia.
I don't know.
I guess maybe she just fliessomewhere.
If she has to film something, yeah, but maybe she's just made
enough money from StrangerThings.
That's what I think.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
And she's been in the spotlight since like 11.
She might literally love justbeing on a farm.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I don't understand that life, but I yeah, I love
that they're adopting.
I think that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Yeah, but good for them, good for them.
Yeah, that was kind of thefirst news.
Second piece of news issomething that came from Nick
Jonas.
He said in an interview that hehas kind of an interesting like
bedroom confession.
He said that beds are forsleeping only and he says, quote
I don't sit on the bed, I don'teat on the bed, I don't read a
book in bed or watch TV.

(16:52):
I can't do it, he said.
The interviewer asked like doyou have a TV in your room?
And this was the part that waslike kind of strange.
He said yeah, I do.
My wife watches it.
I pull up a seat next to thebed to watch.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
That's weird, isn't that weird?
That's weird.
But also, this is like Kelly'smindless news.
I'm sorry, shout out to thetoast, but like what's her name?
Kelly Ripa.
Like our people.
They'll be like oh, you know, kelly got.
Oh, remember, we saw she's likeKelly got 10 out of 10 on her
sleep score last night.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
It's like but I mean, it did get me thinking about
like nighttime habits, like Ifeel like now I have created
such a routine.
I used to be able to sleep onthe floor, but now I need a fan
in my face.
I need to have, oh my God, Ineed a fan in my face.
That's weird.

(17:45):
It's directly from my sister.
When she was in London, shebrought these portable fans
because she needs a fan in herface and it like changed my
sleep.
I was like, oh my God, I just,I don't know, oh my God, are you
a hot sleeper?

Speaker 2 (17:59):
I'm a hot sleeper, I'm a hot sleeper.
Oh wow, I used to have aceiling fan in our apartment in
Southie and I was obsessed withit.
Ceiling fan's where it's at.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
A fan in the bedroom is where it's at, and I can't
believe that for like 34 yearsof my life, I did not.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
I did not partake.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Oh my God, girl go get one on Amazon.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Amazon, so that I won't forget.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Ah yes, tell me what you think, but I need it, I need
that and I also need to have alittle noise.
I cannot fall asleep, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
I'm a big sound machine person.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Oh you, just I put the TV on and then I'll put like
the timer on so that it turnsoff after whatever.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
See, that gives me anxiety, because I'm like if I'm
still awake when it turns off,I'm going to freak the fuck out.
Are you why?
I'll just get anxiety.
I'll be like it's taking me solong to fall asleep and now it's
so late and I don't know, Ijust like, but I yeah.
No, well, cause you haven't hada kid.
Like everyone that has a kid, when the baby sleeps in your

(18:55):
room, you have the sound machinein your room and then, like
literally every parent wants tokeep the sound machine in their
room.
It's just so much better.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
That's so funny.
You said that because Gina toldme to get a hatch.
She said she got one for thebabies and she's like it's
awesome, you need that.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Yeah, the best sound is the blizzard one.
That's the one I use.
It's kind of a deep cut one.
I used to like the waves.
I feel very strongly about thesounds too, like the camping one
.
Get the fuck away from me.
I do not want to hear bugswhile I'm sleeping.
I don't like the rain onesbecause it feels like I have to
pee, or like the river, oh herd.

(19:28):
I would have to pee.
So yeah, I generally go forlike the waves or like wind, but
the blizzard has been like thebest one, especially for a hot
sleeper, so highly recommend.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
I feel like we should put a post out and say what are
the best, like you know a storyand get some insight on, like,
what people are listening to.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
what hatch sounds they're listening to oh true,
even though whatever otherpeople say is not going to
change my.
Oh, I believe you Like thecamping one.
Fuck that, it's like bugs.
Yeah, I feel like I'm outside.
I think I would really like theblizzard.
The blizzard is great Causeit's like you feel cozy but it's

(20:11):
like wind and yeah it's, it'snice, it's nice.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Okay, well, you might be changing my mind.
I might go to the hatch or giveit a shot.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, you could try like on Spotify on your phone
and then, if you like it.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yeah, that's a good idea.
I mean cause sometimes I do thelight can not, not most of the
time but like sometimes the TVcan be a little distracting,
like where there's just thelight and I can't fall asleep.
So I'll turn it off and thenI'll just like put on like a
podcast on my phone and justlike have that in the background
.
But I do, oh interesting Whileyou're sleeping.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
doesn't that make you want to listen to it?

Speaker 1 (20:45):
No, because normally what I'll do is put one on that
I've like listened to already, like one that I just listened to
, because it's like I'm justtuning it out, you know.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Have you ever tried one of those like calm app
things where they like tell youa story?
Oh, I like celebrity voices Idid download that once.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
I don't know it didn't really do much for me, I
so, yeah, I don't.
I tried it.
I love the harry styles one.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Oh, I will you know, falling asleep to harry styles
talking.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
It's pretty good yeah , that doesn't suck.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Doesn't suck at all especially with that british
accent.
The matthew mcconaughey one, though, get the fuck out I don't
like that one.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
You hate matthew mcconaughey oh yeah, he's too
manly hilarious, the only otherthing that might be worth noting
.
So the devil wears prada.
2 movie is shooting in new yorkand it came across our
Instagram because Paige Sorbowas seen filming for Devil Wears

(21:44):
Prada 2.
She was in like a pink fluffydress.
Yeah, oh, I didn't hate it, butI mean I would never wear it.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
I mean it might be for the movie, like you don't
know what the, oh for sure Hercharacter is, whatever, but yeah
, I just I thought it washideous.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
I mean like, oh for sure her character is whatever,
but yeah, I just I thought itwas hideous.
I I mean like I it's just Iwould never wear it, but I feel
like I've seen her and thingslike that.
So and I think, yeah, it's justlike high fashion for the movie
.
I agree, but it did get mecurious about how many like
stars are showing up in thismovie.
Let me just read you the listmore britney happy gilmore.
Okay, it's.
I tried to just pull peoplethat we both would know, because
there's a lot of people that Idid not recognize.

(22:24):
I think it's like a lot ofmodels but john batiste, rumors
of sydney.
Sweetie heidi klum, mark jacobs, sierra ashley, graham right.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Oh so it's not even like fashion related.
Like Like Heidi Klum I thinkshe was in the first one, but
like Heidi Klum, marc Jacobs, like that kind of makes sense,
but yeah, it's interesting.
Like Ashley Graham, I feel like, oh yeah, she's a, no, she's a
model.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah, she's a plus size model right, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
And then who is Sierra?

Speaker 1 (23:00):
She, she's a singer, yeah, I mean the sierra.
I don't think she's known forlike her fashion, like page,
even though she's a reality starand a podcaster and like a
personality, she is known forher fashion, so that makes sense
.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
I don't like her.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
I don't like her style yeah, that's kind of how
she kind of popped off.
She was doing a lot of likeamazon live things.
She just released a clothingline called daphne, named after
her cat um love, love that.
Yeah, I don't like the line.
It's a lot of oversized clothesthat are very expensive.
I was really surprised, honestly, when I saw it.
But that's a bummer, yeah.

(23:29):
But I feel like this movie.
I mean it's going to be hugeand then then those are just
like the, the cameos.
There are celebs that areactually like listed as cast
members and it's like lucy lu,justin theroux, bj novak and our
girl from bridgerton, simoneashley damn, I know so oh, she's
a shitty actor, sorry, I know Imean, yeah, anthony, definitely

(23:53):
like jonathan barry, carriedthat season 1000, but but yeah,
I'm excited to see this.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
So everyone does it come out?
Do we?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
know, I think sometime next year.
I mean, if they're filming nowlike yeah, probably maybe a year
from now.
Yeah so.
I'm excited about that it'sgoing to be good.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
And lastly, just final topics.
We have some Taylor talk.
She's obviously been everywherewith the announcement of TS12.
What do you think of the SuperBowl rumors?
I think she had like a contractwith Diet Coke and when Pepsi
was the sponsor she couldn't be,and then she was on the Eris
tour.
So yeah, I mean maybe I couldsee her doing it this year but I

(24:48):
also feel like she's going towant to like be supporting her
man and like not have all thatpressure and stuff.
I feel like she's more aboutlike him when it comes to the
game.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
So but she would be like a perfect halftime show and
she would fucking crush it.
Oh, she would crush it, I mean, like way better than anyone
else.
It's trained her for this.
Yeah, I, I'm very like I'm.
I could see it definitelyhappening.
The theory is like they are alittle bit you know how the
swifties are.

(25:13):
It's a little in the weeds, butit it was very specific.
She said the reason people thinkthis is because she mentioned
on the podcast sourdough thing.
Yeah, she said that like 60% ofthe time she's thinking about
sourdough and it's going to beSuper Bowl 60.
And then the stadium that theSuper Bowl is being played in,
the mascot for that stadium isthe San Francisco 49ers, is

(25:34):
sourdough Sam and the otherpiece.
This I don't know.
This part is honestly what gotme the most thinking it could,
because I, like we said on ourepisode, when we talked about
that podcast, I kept thinkinglike she's very specific in
certain things that she says.
I kept thinking like there'sgotta be some Easter eggs here.
She's not going to do thatpodcast and not do any Easter
eggs.
So she said that Jason'sopening was 47 seconds when he

(26:00):
like did that whole crazy introfor her and I guess the stadium
that this Super Bowl is beingheld in.
It was Taylor's 47th stop onher tour.
So there are some pieces ofevidence and you know, if it's
Travis's last year, it's his13th year.
Yeah, yeah, it's loose yeahit's loose.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Yeah, it's loose, but it's.
I mean, it would be a perfectopportunity for her to like
perform the new album withoutlike going on tour.
Oh my God, that's such a goodthing, that would be cool for us
.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
I think it could happen.
I'm like kind of now leaningtowards like I think it might.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Yeah, like kind of now leaning towards, like I
think it might.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Yeah, I think it could happen too, I think if you
were to put, say, make a bet onit, I would bet that she is.
I'm wondering what it getsannounced, I feel like soon,
yeah, I mean our girl's nothingif not a planner.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
So that's the only thing.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
The only stage she hasn't tackled this is super
bowl yeah, but she needs to stopwith these countdowns, with the
stupid countdowns.
It needs to stop.
I feel like it Fuck the stupidcountdowns.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
It needs to stop.
I feel like it's less her andit's more like her.
Taylor Nation.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
But it's like Taylor Nation.
You must have seen the backlashfrom when.
So Taylor Nation's puttingthese same day countdowns on
Taylor Nation's social channels,saying that something's going
to come out at 2 pm on thosedays, and then it turns out to
be like a special edition vinylthat you can pre-order.
Yeah, that's like a differentcolor.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
It's stupid.
It's like so fucking dumb.
I know I'm boycotting thevinyls.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
I 100%, although the photos I said this before like
cover art on this album Awesome.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Yeah, I feel like I like a lot of the alternative
covers better than the actualone.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Yeah, she looks incredible, yeah, she looks
great.
No surprise there, no surprisethere, oh, but I have to tell
you this.
I have to tell you this, you'lllove it.
So Jared Goff you know how shelike shouted out Jared Goff on
the podcast yeah.
So I guess they brought that tohis attention and they asked
him what are your top threeTaylor songs?

(28:00):
A lot of times I always expectthese players to say just the
singles Love Story, blank Space, yeah, 1,000.
Listen to these three.
Respect Jared Goff.
I love you even more.
He said number one Getaway Car.
Oh great pick Number two, theOne.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Oh, I forgot about the One that's a great pick.
Number two, the one.
Oh, that's, I forgot about theone that's a great pick.
Yeah, pick the one.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Damn jared goff and like he just did this off the
cuff, like what's the third, third, all two, all ten oh,
respect, I mean, he's gotta havea swifty.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Is he married?
Yes, yeah, because like that'slike what chris would answer.
He would be like the one, andlike he wouldn't say getaway car
, but like he would probably say, like I forget one of the other
random ones he loves.
Now I can't remember.
Oh, I forgot that you existed.
He loves that one.
Oh, that's a good one, but yeah, like random ones like that.
So props to his wife orsignificant other, or if it's

(28:59):
just him, I hope that is evenmore.
I hope that even more.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Yeah, honestly like either way, if it's his wife,
well done, and either way forhim, if it's him, even better,
even better.
But also you pay attention andyou've got your wife has great
taste.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Yeah, true, at the very least, least he pays
attention.
Yeah, so we love that.
And this is all proven, mytheory, like I said, like I've
always liked Jared Goff becauseI had him on fantasy and he was
good and he doesn't get a lot of, a lot of like attention, I
feel like no, I feel like I'vealways known his name, but I've
never been a fan of.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
you know the teams he's played on, but after
watching that season ofquarterback, he is on my radar
and now, after this I mean, I'ma fan, so I'm getting excited
for the nfl season me too.
I can't wait.
Actually, this might be a goodtime to plug one of the guests.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Oh yeah, yeah, tell him yeah, my brother kyle is
gonna come on and tell us about.
We heard we got a lot ofpositive feedback on taylor's
episode, about the taylorsheen's episode, about the
Taylor Sheehan's episode, aboutthe PGA and golf.
So we're going to have mybrother Kyle come on, who knows
more about football than anyoneI know, and give us some good
takes.
And I was talking to him hesaid he has some good ideas.

(30:11):
There's one player he can'twait to tell you about, kristen.
That's a rookie, I don't know.
Oh, yay, great.
But yeah, we're going to get alittle inside scoop on football
before the season starts.
I can't wait for that.
That's going to be great.
And the next week we got ourbook.
Don't forget to read the book.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Don't forget yeah, I'm, I'm already started.
Oh yay, yeah, I'm, I'm into it.
It's good.
So far, so good.
How far are you in?
Oh, has it flashback yet?
No, she's in, she's.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Well, I don't want to , but she's in a different
country it hasn't gone to likethe back but yeah, no, the
flashback part is my favorites.
Yeah, but yeah, that'll be funand well, I mean, we understand
that not everyone is going toread the book, so we all
generally talk about books too.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Yeah, it's going to be great.
