I'm going, I'm driving to LakeGeorge, New York, and I'm gonna
do a girls' getaway weekend withmy friend Jill.
We talked about her way backwhen.
Um, her wedding was this thissummer.
So uh there was an episode wherewe talked about that, but I
haven't seen her since.
So I'm so excited.

and visiting a place like that.
I could never live somewherethat's so remote that you could

Um, but yeah, I mean, I'mexcited though.

But I will say, I have spentthis week really on the hunt for
a hobby, and I need to talkabout it.

Winter Here's the thing.
We talked about it already lastweek with daylight savings.
It's dark by five.
And this is the first week whereI really felt like I couldn't go
on my walks, like my outsidewalks, which I've grown very
dependent on.

So realizing that that's nolonger gonna be a possibility in
maybe like a month, and alsotennis is no longer gonna be a
possibility, which is anotherthing that I've grown very
dependent on.

indoor cat activity that Ienjoy.

And I think I found it.

go and try a couple of thingsand see what you like.

Like that feels really good, butI don't enjoy it.

It's it feels forced.
Like I'm making myself.
It's slow for me.

Well, oh yeah, like I'm obsessed with Pilates, but
yeah, I've just never reallybeen into yoga.
I don't know.
It's a little too slow for meand like just doesn't feel very
hard.

But yeah, well, I think a lot of it is like also
just like the mindfulness,breathing, centering, be present
of it all.
And that was definitely theclass I went to.
It wasn't so much like it that'sI felt like that was the focus.
First off, she was like ninemonths pregnant, the instructor.
She was a pregnant lady.
But yeah, oh, she's crushing it.

But yeah, so I felt like thatwas more of the focus.
And I, the thing is, is that Ican walk to the studio and I've
been for three years been like,you've got to check this out.
Cause like there could also be acommunity aspect.
Maybe I would meet people thatlive in my neighborhood.
It was okay.
But the one that I felt I loveis there's this studio that came
to Boston this summer.

Any Boston-based snitches thatmight be listening, if you took
dance when you were a child andenjoyed it, as I did, this class
is for you.
It's called Diva Dance.
And it's a nationwide, I guess,like chain.
And they just opened up inBoston near South Station.
And it's literally you go for anhour and they just teach you a
dance.
But it's not like Zumba.

It's not like it's not likeyou're doing like exercisy, you
know, you know what I mean.

Like, like I do like a cardio, like a choreograph
cardio thing, but it's likejumping jacks and like, you
know, shuffle and like runforward, skip back.
Like it's it's not like that.
Mine's a little more yeah,cardio-ish.
Yours is like pure dance, whichis cool.

Yeah, it's not exactly so.
But the thing was, so I've beenalso like, this is the week you
have to do it.
And the only night I could do itwas Tuesday night.
And they only have one class anight.
Um, so I go, it's like Pussycatdolls, the song buttons.

So realizing that that's nolonger gonna be a possibility in
maybe like a month, and alsotennis is no longer gonna be a

just like the mindfulness,breathing, centering, be present
of it all.
And that was definitely theclass I went to.
It wasn't so much like it that'sI felt like that was the focus.
First off, she was like ninemonths pregnant, the instructor.
She was a pregnant lady.
But yeah, oh, she's crushing it.

But yeah, so I felt like thatwas more of the focus.
And I, the thing is, is that Ican walk to the studio and I've
been for three years been like,you've got to check this out.
Cause like there could also be acommunity aspect.
Maybe I would meet people thatlive in my neighborhood.

But the one that I felt I loveis there's this studio that came
to Boston this summer.

dance when you were a child andenjoyed it, as I did, this class
is for you.
It's called Diva Dance.
And it's a nationwide, I guess,like chain.
And they just opened up inBoston near South Station.
And it's literally you go for anhour and they just teach you a
dance.
But it's not like Zumba.

Like, like I do like a cardio, like a choreograph
cardio thing, but it's likejumping jacks and like, you

But the thing was, so I've beenalso like, this is the week you
