SPEAKER_01 (00:00):
Ready?
Ready.
Hey everyone.
Welcome back to the latestepisode of Snitchin'.
It's your host, Kristen.
SPEAKER_00 (00:07):
And Brittany, get
ready for the best part of your
day.
SPEAKER_01 (00:10):
We're coming to you
a little bit late on this
Monday.
And that's because Britt and Ihad a girls' day away yesterday.
SPEAKER_00 (00:18):
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01 (00:18):
We went down to
Plymouth for the day with some
of our girlfriends.
It was so fun.
SPEAKER_00 (00:23):
It was a lot of fun.
Yeah.
Plymouth is great.
I feel like it's if you want thereal New England, Massachusetts
experience, like that's it'speak Massachusetts.
SPEAKER_01 (00:33):
It's very
Massachusetts.
Yeah.
The old houses, even the housethe Airbnb we stayed at like
creepy.
It was creepy.
It was like built in the 1800s,1000%.
Definitely.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (00:44):
I mean, it was a
great place to stay, but yeah.
No, right.
It was like, I mean, we werejust there for night, so like
whatever.
But yeah.
Yeah.
We had a blast.
And we totally made such a greatcall with going like Sunday to
Monday.
Like, so we all took today offMonday.
And I like it's so much bettergetting home and like my kids
are at daycare rather than likeSunday get home and like, you
(01:06):
know, you're just slammed backinto parenting.
So I've had just a littleafternoon to myself.
SPEAKER_01 (01:11):
I didn't even think
about that for you guys, but
yes, coming home and then havingsome hours just to debrief and
no work.
What a good move.
Yeah.
I mean, like when you're good,you're good.
It's an A plus move.
That was an A plus move.
Well, it is funny because one ofour friends is from South
Carolina, has never been toPlymouth.
Meesh, you guys know Meesh.
(01:31):
And she's like, Oh, let's go seePlymouth Rock.
All of us are like, no.
We're like, we're not gonnacare.
It's it's exactly what you thinkit is.
SPEAKER_00 (01:41):
It's exactly what
you think it is.
Truly just a rock.
Yeah, it's not like Europe whereyou know you like see a picture
of it and it doesn't do itjustice.
Like you can look at a pictureof Plymouth Rock and it and
that's good.
Yeah, you get the whole picture.
Yeah.
We were talking about going toPlymouth Plantation, that didn't
end up happening.
SPEAKER_01 (01:59):
No, low-key,
Plymouth Plantation back in the
day was the best field trip.
Any Massachusetts kid.
I'm curious.
Every year.
Every year.
Every year.
They're in the science museum.
1000%.
It was that in the sciencemuseum every single year.
And Plymouth Plantation was solegit.
SPEAKER_00 (02:17):
Yeah.
Well, now I was like looking itup.
I don't think when we wereyounger, I don't think I've been
to it.
They had now they have like areal replica of the Mayflower.
SPEAKER_01 (02:25):
Oh, that's cool.
I guess for anyone who doesn'tknow, it's basically like they
take you back in time.
So like like pilgrims lived.
You go on this plantation andit's like you see how they made
like butter or whatever they didback then.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (02:37):
So it's a very
pilgrims community and like an
Indians community or NativeAmericans.
Yes.
And yeah, we should and wefucked up because it's like so
close to Thanksgiving.
It's probably like a perfecttime to go there.
SPEAKER_01 (02:49):
Oh well.
It was it was fun as a kid.
I would be cu I almost don't.
Have you been back?
Like have you brought the boys?
SPEAKER_00 (02:55):
No.
You're too little.
No, I kind of forgot about it.
SPEAKER_01 (02:58):
Well, I feel like I
wonder if I went now, if like
the magic of it would be asgreat.
Because obviously when you'reseeing it as a kid, everything's
bigger and better.
So maybe I'll just let that livein nostalgia.
SPEAKER_00 (03:09):
I don't know though.
Sometimes I appreciate thatstuff more now.
Cause like I wasn't like alwayspaying attention and stuff.
SPEAKER_01 (03:16):
Yeah.
Yeah.
I was a very imaginative kid.
So I was definitely like playingpretend the whole time I was
there and pretending to killthem.
1000%.
But like I don't remember likethe fun facts and stuff.
Yeah, same.
Life would be so hard back then.
Ugh.
My God.
Terrible.
Me and my dad have talked aboutthis.
If we, I think we were watchingVikings or something.
(03:39):
And it was like, if we lived inthat day and age when there
wasn't modern medicine, like howlong would you have lasted?
And I would not have made itpast, I had surgery when I was a
baby on my intestines.
So I would not have made it pastlike three months.
I was a governor.
I probably would have died inchildbirth.
There well, so but you wouldhave made it to your 20s, your
(04:00):
30s.
SPEAKER_00 (04:01):
Yeah, well, yeah,
until I was just 30.
Yeah, just 30.
Yeah, that's true.
Um, but yeah, like that's like, you know, old age for them.
I know.
Well, you would have been one ofthe oldest on the farm.
unknown (04:15):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (04:16):
No, I just I would
need to take a shower, but oh my
god, like being pregnant inchildbirth would be like 10
times scarier.
SPEAKER_01 (04:23):
Can you imagine?
You would have no no drugs, noepidural.
No.
Oh yeah, it's like it's likepeople died a lot.
I know.
Childbirth.
So crazy.
I think we said that the onlyperson I know who probably would
have like made it a long time isMelissa.
Oh, really?
I think she would still bekicking.
(04:45):
Yeah.
Good for her.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, go Melissa.
Kind of a weird subject, I know,but it's a little morbid.
But it is interesting to thinkabout.
Like this is so harsh back then.
Survival of the fittest to thisto the tenth degree.
Oh, yeah, totally.
We also did come to realize whenwe were all together, something
(05:06):
maybe that's a little strange, strange behavior on my part.
And so we're yeah.
I'm curious if anyone else doesthis.
I do not have notifications onfor any app on my tel on my
phone.
SPEAKER_00 (05:21):
I don't have it for
I only have it for like texting
and calling.
And like some, I don't know howit does it, but some emails I
get it.
SPEAKER_01 (05:30):
Like people who have
500 plus emails and you see that
number on their fuck that wehate that.
unknown (05:39):
I hate it.
SPEAKER_01 (05:40):
Can't think about
it.
Can't even think about it.
Can't even think about it.
It's like I don't understand howthat wouldn't bother someone.
SPEAKER_00 (05:47):
That would bug the
shit out of me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I know.
Low-key though, I get so manyfucking emails.
Yeah.
Oh, well.
SPEAKER_01 (05:58):
I know.
I you know who's bad about thatis Lily Pulitzer.
I have unsubscribed for LilyPulitzer so many times, and I
it's never, they never take meoff the mailing list.
It's so annoying.
So annoying.
I know.
I actually did that.
I went through, I might havetalked about it on the pod, but
I was I was bored one day.
I legit went through mypromotions inbox.
Normally I just like mass clickand delete, but I legit went
(06:22):
through them and unsubscribedfrom every one that I didn't
want to have emails from.
It felt so good.
SPEAKER_00 (06:28):
Yeah, yeah.
Honestly, that would besomething she would talk about
in the happiness project.
SPEAKER_01 (06:33):
Plug for the
happiness project.
We're talking about it Friday.
Friday.
Yeah, I definitely need to getreading stat on that.
Yeah, that's good.
Yeah, I think I'll like it.
But I but on the notificationfront, I don't have any
notifications.
So if I receive a text message,I do not actually have a red
alert on my phone.
(06:53):
I have to go into the app andthen I will see what texts I
have.
Same with my phone.
Like if I have a missed call.
I do miss phone calls.
But you know what it is?
I get, I don't know if I'm likeput myself on too many marketing
lists or I don't know, but I getspammed constantly.
SPEAKER_00 (07:12):
Oh, yeah.
I feel like my brother shouldtalk about that.
Apparently, the new iPhoneupdate, you I think it like
fixes, you get way less spam.
I don't know.
Oh really?
Yeah.
Oh, well, I'll have to checkout.
I don't really get that muchspam.
You don't get phone calls?
I mean, I do, but like, I don'tknow.
It's not like every single day.
(07:33):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (07:34):
On Saturday, I had
four spam calls.
Wow.
One was from Kentucky, Hazel,Kentucky.
One's Plano, Texas, oneNebraska.
And then one, it's like the typeof robocall where it's like it
matches your area code.
So it says a Boston area code.
Yeah.
It's not.
Yeah.
So I I kind of figure like Ialmost like it because it just,
(07:57):
you know, whatever, I just don'teven see it.
And then if I go into my phone,I'll look at the voicemails.
And if I have voicemails, I'lllisten to them.
And that's how I get my need toI, you know, the news I need to
know.
SPEAKER_00 (08:08):
Yeah, I mean, it's
definitely crazy, but I can
understand it.
Gina thought it was especiallycrazy.
Gina could not believe it.
SPEAKER_01 (08:16):
I'm calling it
protecting my peace.
I don't need to see all thisactivity that's gonna be getting
me to my phone.
Look when I want to look.
You know?
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (08:26):
I uh yeah, it's very
glanc of you.
It's very Glennon.
SPEAKER_01 (08:30):
I would say that
it's a little type B of me.
Oh, yes.
With wait, type B?
What's that one again?
So this is another thing that wewere talking about um yesterday.
What type are you?
There's type A, so veryorganized, maybe a little
perfectionist, someone who's ohwait, the planner.
Type B, I thought type B waslike a very easygoing.
(08:54):
People are telling me, well, wewere saying that people were
saying there's type C, which Iguess is like the real easy,
easy going.
Like they don't know what'sgoing on, basically, type of
people.
So the type Bs are like thein-between.
SPEAKER_00 (09:06):
Wait, I just Googled
it.
Do you want to hear what itactually is?
It says type A traits areambitious, competitive,
impatient, time consciouscharacteristics there, often
energetic, take chargeindividuals who are driven and
work well independently.
They can be seen as workaholicsand are often focused on
achievement.
Oh, that's different.
Type B is relaxed, patient,flexible, easy-going.
(09:28):
They're often friendly, charismatic, and enjoy life with
a more laid-back approach tostress stress and challenges.
They are not as ambitious astype A, but are generally more
creative and less prone tostress.
C, type C is analytical,detail-oriented, and
conscientious.
They're often creative,dependable, creative thinkers.
(09:48):
A key feature is difficulty inexpressing emotions and a
tendency to be people pleaserwho dislikes confrontation.
They can appear quiet andreserved.
Oh, I feel like that's differentthan we thought we thought.
Totally different than what wethought.
Yeah.
Type C is like what I thoughttype A was.
Same.
I thought type A was like, youknow, when people say like, oh,
I'm type A, like perfectionistor whatever.
SPEAKER_01 (10:11):
Yeah, that's the
impression I have.
Interesting.
Learn something new.
I mean, I do think that.
Well, now I'm trying to think.
I I think I am type B.
Yeah, I think I'm B and C.
I don't think I'm A.
Yeah, I actually think I I am alittle A.
SPEAKER_00 (10:26):
Yeah, you are,
because you're competitive.
I am.
Yeah.
I mean, I am impatient.
That's one of them.
SPEAKER_01 (10:33):
Interesting.
SPEAKER_00 (10:34):
Well, yeah, I would
say I'm like B and maybe A
sometimes.
I mean the people pleaser part.
SPEAKER_01 (10:41):
But I wonder if
that's like a woman thing.
SPEAKER_00 (10:44):
Right.
Yeah, true.
Less of like a personalitytrait.
SPEAKER_01 (10:47):
Yeah, like more just
the nurture nature we're
conditioned to be peoplepleasers.
Yeah, probably.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I saw this TikTok where a girlwas like, things that I do as a
type B personality that drivesmy type A friend crazy.
And the thing that I was like,oh, that's interesting.
See, this is where I don't alignwith type B is that she was
(11:08):
like, I have the caps off ofeverything in my bathroom.
Like, there's no cap on thetoothpaste, there's no cap on
the shower.
That's too much.
SPEAKER_00 (11:17):
Agreed.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I wouldn't want to live likethat.
SPEAKER_01 (11:21):
Yeah, same.
I wish I could remember theother ones.
It was like, oh, the the othertype B thing she said she did
was, and I used to do this, butshe will take her laundry from
the dryer and instead of foldingit and putting it away, she just
puts it in the hamper and thenlike pulls from that.
Oh, that's I don't like that.
Yeah.
You would do that?
(11:42):
When I was younger, 1000%.
I would like to write it.
Oh yeah.
When you were younger, yeah.
Yeah.
Hated putting clothes away.
SPEAKER_00 (11:47):
Oh I don't like
having my clean clothes in the
dirty hamper.
Same.
I just don't want them to getwrinkled.
SPEAKER_01 (11:53):
I'm actually like
pretty quick to put them up now
because I don't want them to bewrinkled.
SPEAKER_00 (11:57):
Yeah, I just don't I
dump them out of my bed and then
I fold like even if I don't foldthem right away, because I don't
know, something about it beinglike in the dirty hamper after
it was just cleaned.
I get that.
I don't like that.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (12:10):
No, I get that.
I do think it's specific toclose that one for me.
Like I hate putting laundryaway.
That's my least favorite choreby far.
SPEAKER_00 (12:18):
Yeah.
Mine's the trash.
Taking the trash out.
It's always like it just hadsuch a shitty time.
You have to do it.
SPEAKER_01 (12:25):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (12:26):
You know, it's like
Tuesday night after work.
You're like, I don't want to dothis.
SPEAKER_01 (12:30):
I feel lucky.
I don't have that problembecause I don't have to go
outside with mine.
Yeah, that's nice.
Yeah.
But anyway, let's get into it.
We have a couple of topics foryou today, and then we're gonna
wrap with a snitch session.
Should we start with the WhiteLotus news?
SPEAKER_00 (12:44):
Yeah.
Oh yeah.
So I saw this one.
It is for White Lotus fans outthere.
Season four is confirmed to beset in France with a production
slated for 2026 potential 2027premiere.
So it's gonna be a while off,but apparently they're like
doing the casting and stuff now,and there's gonna be like a
little part of it in Paris.
(13:06):
I am so excited for that.
SPEAKER_01 (13:08):
France is a perfect
location.
SPEAKER_00 (13:10):
I know, same.
I feel like the location mattersa lot to me with that show.
Me too, definitely.
Yeah, we did before they wereThailand.
Was it Hawaii?
Hawaii was the first one, andthen it was in Sicily.
Right.
Oh, I loved that one.
That was my favorite season.
Yeah.
Where was it last year?
SPEAKER_01 (13:29):
Thailand.
SPEAKER_00 (13:30):
Thailand, right,
yeah.
Yeah, I I didn't really likelast season that much.
I didn't like the first seasoneither.
SPEAKER_01 (13:37):
I thought the second
season was best, but I also do
think it's because they had sucha great cast, and it was kind of
unknown like at the time.
Like Leo Woodall, before he kindof blew up, he was on that show.
He was the nephew.
I think he's so cute.
He's so cute.
And his real life girlfriend,Megan Fahie, we love her.
She was kind of like thebreakout from that season.
(13:58):
Wait, who?
Megan Faehee.
She's from.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
She um, I can't remember whather character's name was, but
maybe Daphne.
I don't know.
But yeah, she was so good onthat show.
SPEAKER_00 (14:10):
Yeah, she was good.
And yeah, the guy, yeah, she'sdating now.
What's the name?
Leo Woodall.
SPEAKER_01 (14:15):
Yeah, Leo Woodall.
And they had like Aubrey Plazaon that uh season, Theo James.
So yeah, that was a that was akiller season.
But I think France could be, Imean, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (14:26):
I know setting the
stage.
I would definitely, if I couldpick, I would probably pick
France.
SPEAKER_01 (14:31):
I mean, I would
definitely pick Europe.
Totally.
And I saw something that MikeWhite has said that he won't go,
which honestly, respect.
He won't film medications.
Yeah, fuck that.
I would I would do the same.
Like if I'm trying to go, I'mgoing to the warm weather.
SPEAKER_00 (14:46):
Right.
Like, and when you're likeshooting and stuff, that
probably is like so much harder.
Totally.
It's kind of funny the lore thatWhite Lotus has.
It's like it's not even It's noteven that good.
It's a very weird show.
But yeah, you're for some reasonyou find yourself talking about
it.
SPEAKER_01 (15:03):
People go crazy for
it.
Like I feel like it's such atopic of conversation.
And I even I watch it, but Idon't know if I could pinpoint
to your point, like what's sogreat about it.
I don't know.
It's like awkward a lot of thetime.
It's shocking.
That's that's part.
I think a lot of shows now gofor like shock factor.
SPEAKER_00 (15:22):
True.
But like shock factor in notlike a cool way, like in like an
incest way.
SPEAKER_01 (15:28):
I know.
You know, I know or like takinglike literally pooping.
SPEAKER_00 (15:33):
Yeah.
I just like I I mean my favoritepart of it is like the city,
like that you like get to see somuch of the the place.
So I'm excited for that.
SPEAKER_01 (15:43):
Yeah.
And I do think every step, Imean last season was shocking at
the end, and I was sad about whopassed, who died.
So, but I wonder who so do theyhave any like any rumblings
about who'd be cast?
SPEAKER_00 (15:57):
Oh, well, so
everyone on the internet
apparently really wants them tocast Chris Briney, the who is
Conrad.
They should.
That would be amazing.
I would love that.
I could totally see that.
I could totally see that.
SPEAKER_01 (16:10):
Yeah, they should
capitalize on him.
I mean, he's like a big his staris very high right now.
SPEAKER_00 (16:14):
Yeah, yeah.
He's gotta get be getting somelike offers.
And like I would love to see himin something without belly.
SPEAKER_01 (16:21):
I know.
You know, it's funny.
I feel like he's kind of aninteresting guy.
Like he seems a little grungyand kind of like whatever, like,
you know, almost like too cool alittle bit in his real life.
I would be very curious to see, like, I wonder if I would like
seeing him in a role that wouldbe very different from Conrad
Fisher, or if he's a littletypecast in my mind where it's
like, no, like I love ConradFisher.
(16:43):
It's like how we like JackDawson specifically more than
Leo.
That's kind of how I feel.
SPEAKER_00 (16:47):
Yeah, that's true.
That's true.
I don't know.
I don't like this.
Yeah, he's honestly not the bestactor in Summer Turn Pretty, so
but I think also he's a goodactor.
I feel like he acts with hiseyes.
I don't think he's a very goodactor.
It said uh casting.
(17:08):
Casting's just underway.
No cast members have beenofficially confirmed for the new
season.
SPEAKER_01 (17:13):
I think though he
also does try to get, like Mike
White tries to get unknowns.
SPEAKER_00 (17:18):
Relevant people.
SPEAKER_01 (17:19):
Oh, yeah, yeah,
yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (17:20):
That's true.
Yeah.
Oh, this also says there havebeen rumors of an all-star
season in the future, thoughthis is not expected to be
season four.
Oh, that'd be interesting.
Yeah.
I mean, it's kind of nice thatyou can like they can kind of go
on and on with it.
SPEAKER_01 (17:36):
I know.
SPEAKER_00 (17:36):
They really could.
SPEAKER_01 (17:38):
And I will say also,
I like Mike White because he is
a survivor stan and he went onthe show Survivor, and he was
hilarious.
Oh, really?
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (17:47):
That's a lot I
didn't do that.
SPEAKER_01 (17:49):
Yes.
We love we love someone who justhas a fandom, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
unknown (17:54):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (17:55):
Speaking of, unless
there's anything else with this
with Lotus.
SPEAKER_00 (17:59):
Just that.
I mean, I'm I'm excited, butdon't hold your breath.
It's not coming out anytimesoon.
SPEAKER_01 (18:03):
Yeah.
Well, actually, we do we didhear of a new show that all of
our friends are telling us towatch.
So I think that's gonna be ournext binge, especially since
Dancing with the Stars is endingtomorrow, which is very sad.
SPEAKER_00 (18:15):
I know.
SPEAKER_01 (18:16):
I'm gonna sad.
SPEAKER_00 (18:17):
Is it eight to
eleven?
SPEAKER_01 (18:19):
Eight to eleven.
Oh, fuck that.
I know, I know it's gonna behard, but we'll power through.
Yeah.
So, but we were told to watchthis show.
It's called what's it called?
All her faults or not her fault.
One of those.
Apparently, it's amazing.
So it's on Peacock.
Yeah, all her faults.
That's what it is.
(18:39):
And Dakota Fanning's in it, thegirl from Succession, Sarah
Snook, I think maybe.
So that's what we'll be watchingprobably this week.
unknown (18:48):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (18:48):
But anyway, um, but
I I will say though, there it
there's child kidnapping in it,which like normally I feel like
I wouldn't watch that.
But Gina, Kristen, I mean Gina,Tay, and Heather all said it was
fine.
So I trust their opinion, butnormally, but so if you hear
that there's kidnapping in it,apparently, like if you're
triggered by that, you're stillokay to watch it.
(19:11):
It's a good PSA, it's good toknow.
SPEAKER_01 (19:14):
But anyway, yes, our
fandoms.
So we love Mike White for hissurvivor fandom and obviously
our Taylor fandom.
We're trying to spread out theTaylor talk, but it did come out
this week that it's it's rumorsare swirling that she's actually
hosting her wedding or havingher wedding at her Rhode Island
Westerly mansion at holiday.
(19:36):
I feel like that makes sense.
I'm surprised.
I thought that she would goelsewhere and and do a different
venue because I feel like thathouse, I mean, it's it's so like
out in the open, you know.
SPEAKER_00 (19:49):
Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER_01 (19:51):
So it's a little,
but I guess it does make sense
in the sense that they'll havemore control, they can make it
exactly what they want.
SPEAKER_00 (19:58):
Yeah.
That's what I was saying, likeall her security and stuff.
They can, you know.
But they I bet it is June 13th.
SPEAKER_01 (20:05):
Oh, I definitely
think that she's getting married
on the 13th.
SPEAKER_00 (20:07):
Yeah, because the
like place, like that rumor that
everyone was spreading about howlike someone who had the June
13th, like got paid to likeswitch their date, that place,
that venue is like you can seeher house from it.
So it's probably probably boughtit out for like guests.
SPEAKER_01 (20:25):
Yeah, that makes
sense.
I mean, honestly, this is makingit makes sense, like it's making
me think.
No wonder she put in that wewere just talking about it last
week in the her top five songsthat she submitted for like her
songwriter's hall of fame.
SPEAKER_00 (20:39):
That's so true.
SPEAKER_01 (20:40):
She put Last Great
American Dynasty, which is about
said house.
Makes more sense.
And I'm like, it makes moresense now.
Who knew Rhode Island would beso important to her?
SPEAKER_00 (20:50):
I know, I know.
Well, and I'm trying to thinktoo.
I feel like like the paparazziare gonna be able, if it's like
outside or on the beach at all, like they're gonna be able to
take pictures.
SPEAKER_01 (20:59):
1000%.
SPEAKER_00 (21:00):
Oh, I know.
So thanks, Taylor.
SPEAKER_01 (21:03):
Yeah, thanks,
Taylor.
I mean, I guess it's gonna bethe social event of the year.
Everyone's invited.
I wish I was.
I know.
One day everyone's invited.
What do you mean?
Well, she was on Graham Norton, she was inviting Graham Norton
to her wedding.
She invited like Jimmy Fallonon.
She was like, I'm having a hugeaffair.
She was like, it's I'm invitingeverybody.
SPEAKER_00 (21:20):
Oh my god.
She's definitely gonna haveoutfit changes.
Oh, definitely, definitely.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (21:25):
Yeah.
So I mean, that's exciting thatwe know that we know the
location.
SPEAKER_00 (21:32):
I know, I know.
And yeah, June 13th, that'sperfect for her.
SPEAKER_01 (21:36):
Do you think it
could be though, just like she's
saying this and then actuallyit's like throwing everyone off
and they're gonna get marriedsomewhere else?
SPEAKER_00 (21:43):
Yeah, I do.
I could see that too.
But yeah, I don't know.
Or she's I yeah, I mean, I couldalso see it being there.
I don't know.
I wouldn't be surprised eitherway.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (21:54):
You know what I was
thinking?
This is kind of random, but Idid think about this before.
I was listening to FleetwoodMac.
You know how like Taylor lovesStevie Nicks?
Mm-hmm.
You know, she referenced her andClara Beau and all that.
I think that Taylor's favoriteFleetwood Mac song is Gold Dust
Woman.
Why?
It's go and listen to it andtell me what you think.
(22:15):
It's very like witchy.
And yes, like kind of almostgives me a little mad woman
vibes.
Oh.
You heard it here first.
Yes, definitely.
Like, yes, 1000%.
It's such a good song, and Ifeel like I know this song.
I just google the lyrics.
SPEAKER_00 (22:36):
It's so good.
I really think that could be herfavorite.
Yeah, I feel like that's a goodcall.
Definitely.
My favorite's dreams.
That's a great one.
SPEAKER_01 (22:46):
That's a great one.
I would say my favorite iseverywhere.
SPEAKER_00 (22:49):
Yeah, that one's
good.
SPEAKER_01 (22:51):
Yeah.
I would say that one probably.
Yeah.
All right.
Should we finish with a snitchsession?
Yeah, let's do it.
Let's do it.
Okay.
This one is about deceit, Iguess.
Dear snitches, I got engagedover the summer, and until
recently, I thought ourrelationship was completely
honest.
We also moved this year, andwhen I was moving, I found old
(23:12):
lawyer letters that revealedthat my fiance was married and
divorced a few years before wemet.
He never once mentioned thismajor life event.
When confronted, he admitted hekept it a secret because he was
ashamed of the short-livedmarriage.
I'm shocked and feel like Idon't know the man I'm I'm
planning to marry.
The deception, regardless of thereason, has broken my trust.
Should I postpone the wedding?
(23:33):
Yikes.
Yikes.
Yeah, that's tough.
I find that very odd that youwould omit.
I actually was just talking to afriend about this who had been
married before.
And just like when you bringthat up and when you feel
comfortable telling someone, butit's crazy that you are.
So I can understand that maybeit's something that it's a
(23:55):
little, you know, maybenerve-wracking to bring up to
someone, sure.
SPEAKER_00 (23:59):
That's what Melissa
was saying on her episode.
Remember?
She was saying how like when shewould like date new people, she
was like so nervous to tellthem.
But like I feel like you have totell them.
Like she had the right approach, which is to tell them right
away.
I mean, it's kind of weird tohide it.
I think it's weird to hide it.
Like you have to really try tohide that.
SPEAKER_01 (24:18):
That's a good point,
right?
Like, are they, I mean, nofriends told you, or like, do
you like this was never broughtup?
SPEAKER_00 (24:27):
Yeah.
I mean, unless his family mustthey, yeah, I guess people just
know not to talk about it tohim.
I don't know.
SPEAKER_01 (24:33):
I feel like this is
strange.
I I I don't know.
I mean, postponing a wedding,like that's like a really big
thing, but something'sdefinitely off.
And I I probably would.
I would have a lot of questions.
Like, what caused, why did youguys get divorced?
Why did you not tell me?
Like, it has to be more than theashamed piece.
(24:55):
Like, that's not a good enoughreason.
SPEAKER_00 (24:56):
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I feel like it's a hard call.
I would have to, I wish I couldknow like what they said the
reason was.
Like, maybe if if there was areason that was believable, I
wouldn't postpone, but I don'tknow what that would be.
SPEAKER_01 (25:10):
I just don't get how
you don't tell someone you're
gonna marry that you weremarried before.
SPEAKER_00 (25:14):
Like, I don't know
how that doesn't come up ever,
like even slip of the tongue orsomething, you know, like
especially because they're gonnafind out like eventually.
Like you have to do a marriagelicense and you have to put if
you're you've been divorced.
Oh, really?
Is that part of that?
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (25:31):
I didn't know that.
Yeah, I'm I I don't know.
I would probably hit pausebecause if something this major
is just was never brought up andhe's acting like, I don't know,
it's no big deal.
That would just make me feel Ido think the trust is broken.
And I don't know, do you want tomarry someone that you don't
really trust?
SPEAKER_00 (25:50):
Yeah.
It sucks, though.
That's hard because it's notlike they like cheated.
Right.
But yeah, it's still it's butit's still, yeah, because it's
like you have to try like reallytry to hide that.
And it's very sketchy.
SPEAKER_01 (26:04):
Yeah.
It's like there's no shame init.
Like, yeah, like you were sayingwhen we were talking about it
with Melissa, there's no shamein being divorced, who cares?
But it's just weird that youwould hide it.
That's what's you know, throwthe flag.
Like that's just yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (26:18):
I know.
Well, I feel that especiallyafter talking to Melissa,
because like in my mind, like, Idon't know, I wouldn't think
that that would be like weighingon someone that they were like
engaged or almost married whenthey start dating people, but I
mean it makes sense that itdoes.
SPEAKER_01 (26:33):
I mean, I guess like
anything, maybe you feel like
you like air quotes failed, youknow, failed at something.
I mean, I can see why that wouldbe maybe hard for people, but
yeah.
This is gonna be your lifepartner.
I think it's just too big of athing to conveniently not talk
about.
That's just strange.
Yeah, and it's like when youfind something out like that
(26:55):
about someone, it's shocking.
SPEAKER_00 (26:58):
Yeah.
Yeah.
I would feel like they lied tome.
I think I yeah, I would probablylean toward postponing it unless
he had a reason that made senseand that it was believable.
SPEAKER_01 (27:09):
Yeah, definitely.
I don't know.
Good luck.
I'm I think my advice is to isto pause if you're feeling
unsure.
I would definitely talk tofriends and family and maybe
even some of like his friendsand family about why what
happened here.
Why why did no one ever bringthis up?
SPEAKER_00 (27:27):
Yeah, like this is
totally backfiring on this guy
because now she's just gonnabecome more interested in it
than if he just told her upfront.
SPEAKER_01 (27:33):
I know it's so hard
to when you break trust because
you can't you can't bring itback, like you can't build it
back the same way.
SPEAKER_00 (27:40):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (27:41):
That sucks.
That sucks.
SPEAKER_00 (27:42):
Wish the best for
you.
SPEAKER_01 (27:44):
Good luck.
SPEAKER_00 (27:45):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (27:46):
But that's all we
have time for today.
A little bit of a shorterepisode.
We'll be back on Wednesday withour friend Nelson.
We're gonna be talking allthings chef life, and then we'll

SPEAKER_00 (27:59):
Don't forget.
SPEAKER_01 (28:00):
Talking about the
happiness project, yes.
SPEAKER_00 (28:02):
We're very it will
be it will be relevant for
everyone, even if you didn'tread the book, similar to
untamed.
SPEAKER_01 (28:07):
So yeah, exactly.
I mean, we're still talkingabout Glenn constantly.
We bring up our girl Glennon allthe time.
All the time, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (28:13):
Legit.
Yeah, it's I would say thehappiness project's not as good
as Glennon, but it's it's good.
