One of the things that Dynastydoes pretty okayly is their

If there's a plot hole withinthe series and they catch it
soon enough, they will overexplain it or they'll explain it

Somehow or another he has madeit into her personal space.
She comes back from wherever Iguess she's in the lobby, comes
back to her room.
Mark is in a white tuxedo topand he's like hey, you want some

Pouring her own stuff.
She asked him if it's French.

He makes a joke about it beingfrom Belgium.
She doesn't seem all thatannoyed, but it is very much.
Okay, gone and pour me some.
Mark darling, what are youdoing in my room?
Oh, we're supposed to go todinner.
It's time for dinner.
Oh, that's cute baby.
Here she goes to her purse,pulls out a fistful of foreign
dollars and says here, mark, goto the arcade.

That's basically what she says.
You know folks, the more Ithink about it, the more I'm
convinced mark jennings has itmade.
He gets him a little bevy,drinks a little champagne on the
way down, heads down to thelobby.
Surely he's gonna meet someinternational broad have a good
time.
Plus, he has a fistful of cashin case he does want to go to

the arcade.
Now, unbe unbeknownst to Alexis, dexter has made his way to
Hong Kong.
We also got to keep in mindthat Mark is working for
Congressman McVeigh by, just,you know, getting as much intel
as possible.
So it's very possible that hebroke into her room and was just
hanging out, but she'sobviously not going to do

business in front of him.
So we collected his coin and ashe's walking down the hallway,
rashid is walking in theopposite direction.
So Mark turns over his shoulderlike okay, that's her plans for
the evening, that's her date.
He goes down to the lobby andtell me why.
Dex Dexter has finally made itin from Denver.
Dex recognizes Mark.

He goes to sit over by him.
They start chatter, chatter,chittering.
Now Mark is being a little he'scool, considering him and
Dexter have come to blowsalready.
But Mark is like man, are youthat way?
I'm paraphrasing, ladies andgentlemen, I'm not going to give
you verbatim, but you'll getthe essence of this scene.

Dex has a seat, he pulls out acigarette, starts smoking and
Mark's like dang you, thatwhipped huh Halfway across the
world to check on your girl.
Dexter replies sir, me and mygirl own a corporation.
You wouldn't know nothing aboutthat.
You see, if there's businessbeing attended to, I need to be
in that business.
We all know this is truebecause dex dexter doesn't give

a damn about a closed door.
How many meetings has he burstin this season unannounced?
So this is none.
This is exactly the same thing.
Mark says oh, that's right, youguys, guys own Lex Dex or Dex
Lex.
Can I remember who's on top?
Dex was like it's Lex Dex, asin, she's on top.

If you really want to know, youreally want to go there, but
we're always both on top.
You see what I'm saying.
Like, this is our business.

But perhaps it's just thewriting style.

Maybe they left these holes sothat the audience would ask
these questions, because thatwas my thought too.
Just last episode was she'snewest to this.
She's new to business and allof her business plan seems to be
if I have a personal vendettaagainst you, I will figure out
how to destroy you.
And it's like her socialcircling, her status in society

and her knack for revenge seemsto be working very well in
business.
So maybe these things are onein the same.
There's also a scene, I guess alittle bit towards the end,
where Jeff and Blake are inBlake's office and it is clean
up on aisle four again.
So Jeff comes in and he'sasking about the deal.
Like the deal's almost done.
I guess they just need a littlebit more money I forget the
amount.
And Alexis comes up and Blake'slike she's going to be so

pissed when she gets all the wayto Hong Kong and she realizes
any oil wells I left.
I left them because they werebummy.
She's not going to get a redcent.
He thinks it's so funny.
But Jeff informs Blake or me,the audience, that Alexis has
had a lot of success because sheis running the company the

exact same way that Cecil Colbywas.
Now this is the second timethey brought up Cecil in the
last two episodes and I wasgiven a word of advice to wait
till they bring it up before Istart watching the Colby's.
So, oh geez, is this, is thismy signal, or do I need to relax
?
Do I need to wait a little bitinto season five?

Oh my gosh, I also need to asky'all about Dallas, but we'll
talk about that on Dallas.
Anyway, back to Dexter.
He's relaxed a little bit and Iguess he kind of you know he's
listening to Mark.
Mark's like listen, I'm aroundher all the time.
I promise you she's not overhere screwing you over.
I promise you she's not makingany deals behind your back.
You're going to be just fine.
And Dex was like all right, youknow.

So what?
I spent a couple thousand tofly first class.
I got on a plane unnecessarily.
These things happen.
You do things for love upsometimes.
Mark's like yeah, I feel you.
Dex then reaches in his pocket.
He's like let me buy you adrink and, I guess, a little
more money for the arcade.
Get yourself a pizza and aPepsi.
Go in your room watch Charlesplay, it'll be fun.

Hands him another fistful offoreign cash.
I left out one little piece.
Mark said your girl's notscrewing you over.
She's over here unless you dealin silk.
She's over here shopping likethere's no tomorrow.
People go to Vegas to gamble.
People come to Hong Kong toshop.

That's all she's doing.
So I guess Dex takes this toheart and he goes and buys this
really beautiful, large, ornatebouquet of flowers and it looks
like a couple of silk robes.
He has rich manned his way intofiguring out where her
penthouse suite is.
I don't know why he didn't justask Mark, but he and two
(32:32):
workers from the hotel head upto Alexis's penthouse or suite.
It's not a penthouse suite,right?
It's a hotel.
Got to make sure I get thisright.
So he and the two hotelattendants travel down the
hallway.
Knock on the door.
Actually, no, they don't knockon the door.

I suppose one of the guys opensthe door for him as Dexter's
walking in.
Tell me why Rashid comes out ofAlexis's boudoir.
Rashid comes out of Alexis'sboudoir in a salmon colored bath
towel and that's all, baby.
He's got two champagne glasses.
So he's not, you know he's notsleeping in his own suite.
He comes out, sees Dexter Ilove Dexter's petty.

He immediately Dexter's likeget that flowers, get those
flowers and that silk the hellout of here.
Y'all get.
God.
I know, if I was a hotelworkers I would.
I would take my time, I'd dropthe flowers or something.
It's like listen, it is at thispoint I need to let y'all know.
Rasheed, like I said, iswearing nothing but a towel and
Rasheed is fine, fine.
Rasheed looks like those menLike, if you go you Google, a

boxer from the 1920s or like astrong man in the circus before,
like steroids and such.
He's got one of those bodies.
Like he turns to the back, he'sgot a v-back, he's real like
stout.
He is fine, fine and um, Idon't know how he would have
fared, how he and had he anddexter come to blows.
But right about this time alexishears aotion.

She comes out of the bedroomand she's like oh my God, oh my
God.
Dexter tells Rashid go out theback way if you want to live.
Rashid is calm, cool.
He's like Alexis, do I havepermission basically to shut
this yapping dog up.

She's like Rashid, baby, baby,this is a very personal matter.
Why don't you just go back inthe bedroom?
I'm gonna handle this.
Oh my gosh, y'all this is sogood I was.
This is unexpected.
It's totally unexpected.
Okay, so this is where, um, anexplanation is warranted.
Only, dexter is a verypassionate person.
(34:41):
Alexis is as well.
She's like okay, now, who are?
Why?
Who are you bursting in on mytrip with full anger?
She's not trying to explainanything, dexter, what the hell
are you doing here?
He goes.
I can't believe you're askingme that.
What do you think I'm doinghere?
What do we talk about lastbefore you left?
About fidelity and how we feelabout each other.

I caught this last episode andI'm glad I did.
He said he was in love.
He said he believes in fidelity.
She neither agreed nordisagreed.
She just gave him the Mona Lisasmile and kept it moving.

She's like no, she didn't say Ididn't say it.
She's like.

Mind you, this next scene, asI'm saying this, she is in a
silk coat I guess it's like apinkish salmon colored gown with
a matching robe.
It's short sleeve, so she hasall the dexterity she needs to
swing on him.
And that's exactly what shedoes.
Ho and he slut, and he I gotyou.
So she immediately startsswinging on him.

And I'm going to be real withyou.
I don't know if this is adynasty stunt double.
It kind of looks like it.
It looks like they got either ablack lady or somebody with a I
don't know.
The tan kind of fluctuates themore I look at it.
They got somebody, a POC, in ahot pink salmon colored gown and

they go at it.
Alexis quote unquote swings atMark, she's swinging and I keep
wanting to call him Mark at Dex.
And at first Dexter is trying tobe a gentleman, but she's like
no, she's got a little, she'sgot a little strength to her.
So he eventually has to getinto a more athletic, more
powerful stance.
He has to, you know, secure hiscore bend with his knees so

that he can take her.
Well, she's swinging wildly andeventually she gets her claws
out.
She scratches the side of hisface and he, ah, he lets her go
and he cups the side of his faceand she like, yeah, absolutely,
get some, get some.
She starts looking around theroom, feeling the powerful stuff
let me come knock, I'm gonnaknock, knock him out reaches for
the first piece of decor thathas a little weight and she
(37:11):
heaves it at him.
Only this time he's ready, heknows she's crazy.
So he squats down like theblack panther or like black
widow when she jumps off thestuff.
He's ready, he's ready toavenge that ass.
Now she runs at him.
Now that he's in a morepowerful athletic stance, he's
able to chunk her on the couch.
So he'll chunk her one way andshe'll catch her breath flip
around.
(37:31):
What you can tell is kind ofgetting her hot, okay, okay.
She jumps up again and swingingat him and he's, those are back
on the couch again.
She's like, all right, she'sgetting serious.
So now that she knows he isprepared for her leaps, she goes
slightly lower, she tries topower drive him and she manages
(37:52):
to get him on the ground.
They start wrestling andcarrying on.
He manages to get the best ofher.
It's dexx, lex, because firsthe's on top and then she's on
the bottom.
Then it's lex dex, dex, lex,lex.
Next thing, you know, he's ontop.
He's enough of this foolishnessbecause they've broken glasses,
they've broken wine bottles.
At this point he stands up, hepicks her up and and just grabs
(38:15):
her as tight as he can and givesher a passionate kiss.
So she's like oh, absolutely,it's the Lex Dex.
You ever watch a cartoon likewhen Garfield or Tom and Jerry
and them are fighting and it'sjust like a cloud of dust.
You just see fists and all thatsorts of things.
It looked like that.
So after the kiss she's like ohmy god, yes, yes, yes, that's
(38:36):
that's what I'm talking about,dex.
Then he gently lies her on thefloor and she's like okay, let's
do this.
You know they're kissing orwhatever.
He gets up, she thinks it'sabout to go down.
He's like damn, you broke myheart.
It's over Alexis.
She can't believe it.
Once he tells her, I think hejust did that so he could stand
over her.
It's a very kind of symbolicmoment.
(39:03):
Lex Dex was the name of thecompany.
But now Dex is on top.
He's up looking down at her.
She just can't believe he'sdropping her.
So she does what anyself-respecting woman does she
curses him out as he's leaving,calls him an overrated cowboy
you don't own me.
She heaves a bottle ofchampagne, but you know her aim
sucks.
I like ah, I don't know what'sgoing to happen.
I don't own me.

He is the one who put Blake upon the Asian oil wells and
apparently there's this rift inthe country.

know some things are going down.
Stephen feels like thatinformation that Adam gave Blake

I feel like Adam did his part.

But Jeff is eating his brekkieand he's reading over some
papers.
Adam, being a lawyer, looks atthe papers and he knows
immediately it's a divorcedecree.
He's like, oh cool, you andKirby's divorce papers are

That's awesome.
Jeff's like shut up, mind yourbusiness.
And Adam's like look, jeff, Iknow I tried to kill you this,

that and the third, but I reallydo want to put this thing aside

We're about to just move on.
You're going to marry myincredibly lackluster baby
sister.
I'm going to marry your fourthchoice wife.
Why can't we be cordial?
Our kids are going to be playcousins because you're not

I understand some things cameto the surface and you feel a

Jeff basically tells him toscram or step off.

The only other thing thathappens with Jeff is he takes
Fallon to a carousel.
They're planning baby Blake's.

I watched Falcon Crest too.
So I'm like I think Joseph isfour and I'm like when did he
turn four?
Whatever, they're planning thebaby's birthday party.
Fallon realizes that she'shaving these weird headaches and

One of the things that Dynastydoes pretty okayly is their

And Alexis comes up and Blake'slike she's going to be so

pissed when she gets all the wayto Hong Kong and she realizes
any oil wells I left.
I left them because they werebummy.

He thinks it's so funny.
But Jeff informs Blake or me,the audience, that Alexis has

Now this is the second timethey brought up Cecil in the

He said the wrong thing to theright one that day.

Mind you, this next scene, asI'm saying this, she is in a
silk coat I guess it's like apinkish salmon colored gown with
a matching robe.
It's short sleeve, so she hasall the dexterity she needs to
swing on him.
And that's exactly what shedoes.
Ho and he slut, and he I gotyou.
So she immediately startsswinging on him.
(36:05):
And I'm going to be real withyou.
I don't know if this is adynasty stunt double.
It kind of looks like it.
It looks like they got either ablack lady or somebody with a I
don't know.
The tan kind of fluctuates themore I look at it.
They got somebody, a POC, in ahot pink salmon colored gown and

they go at it.
Alexis quote unquote swings atMark, she's swinging and I keep
wanting to call him Mark at Dex.
And at first Dexter is trying tobe a gentleman, but she's like
no, she's got a little, she'sgot a little strength to her.
So he eventually has to getinto a more athletic, more
powerful stance.
He has to, you know, secure hiscore bend with his knees so
(36:49):
that he can take her.
Well, she's swinging wildly andeventually she gets her claws
out.
She scratches the side of hisface and he, ah, he lets her go
and he cups the side of his faceand she like, yeah, absolutely,
get some, get some.
She starts looking around theroom, feeling the powerful stuff
let me come knock, I'm gonnaknock, knock him out reaches for
the first piece of decor thathas a little weight and she
(37:11):
heaves it at him.
Only this time he's ready, heknows she's crazy.
So he squats down like theblack panther or like black
widow when she jumps off thestuff.
He's ready, he's ready toavenge that ass.
Now she runs at him.
Now that he's in a morepowerful athletic stance, he's
able to chunk her on the couch.
So he'll chunk her one way andshe'll catch her breath flip
around.
(37:31):
What you can tell is kind ofgetting her hot, okay, okay.
She jumps up again and swingingat him and he's, those are back
on the couch again.
She's like, all right, she'sgetting serious.
So now that she knows he isprepared for her leaps, she goes
slightly lower, she tries topower drive him and she manages
(37:52):
to get him on the ground.
They start wrestling andcarrying on.
He manages to get the best ofher.
It's dexx, lex, because firsthe's on top and then she's on
the bottom.
Then it's lex dex, dex, lex,lex.
Next thing, you know, he's ontop.
He's enough of this foolishnessbecause they've broken glasses,
they've broken wine bottles.
At this point he stands up, hepicks her up and and just grabs
(38:15):
her as tight as he can and givesher a passionate kiss.
So she's like oh, absolutely,it's the Lex Dex.
You ever watch a cartoon likewhen Garfield or Tom and Jerry
and them are fighting and it'sjust like a cloud of dust.
You just see fists and all thatsorts of things.
It looked like that.
So after the kiss she's like ohmy god, yes, yes, yes, that's
(38:36):
that's what I'm talking about,dex.
Then he gently lies her on thefloor and she's like okay, let's
do this.
You know they're kissing orwhatever.
He gets up, she thinks it'sabout to go down.
He's like damn, you broke myheart.
It's over Alexis.
She can't believe it.
Once he tells her, I think hejust did that so he could stand
over her.
It's a very kind of symbolicmoment.
(39:03):
Lex Dex was the name of thecompany.
But now Dex is on top.
He's up looking down at her.
She just can't believe he'sdropping her.
So she does what anyself-respecting woman does she
curses him out as he's leaving,calls him an overrated cowboy
you don't own me.
She heaves a bottle ofchampagne, but you know her aim
sucks.
I like ah, I don't know what'sgoing to happen.
I don't own me.
(39:23):

the other room.
Rashid Ahmed does absolutelyless than nothing to stop the

fight.
This woman is in here fistfighting, wrestling with the man

They're making a lot of noise,moving all kinds of furniture.
I guess Rasheed went in thereand did his nighttime routine.
I don't know what he was inthere doing.
He wouldn't fight, and that'swhat I know.
And I also know that Tracy hasno survival skills.
She is still in Hong Kong, shehas not secured a flight and

even as I say that out loud, Ihave to check my privilege a
little bit as a modern woman shedoesn't exactly have a debit
card, she can't go online andbook her flight.
The more I think about it, I'mlike Blake.

She could have figured out howto got to like New York and then

They happen upon each other inthe hotel bar where a decision
is made pretty quickly.

After about a 60 secondconversation, they decide you

They do just that.

And Dexter has a thought, samethought I had.

And Trixie's like okay, we cando that, but can we negotiate a

And Alexis was like okay, well,yeah, I think that works out.
I actually think this is abrilliant idea and I'm so glad
that Tracy did not go work forAlexis sooner.
Here's the thing, though Alexisseems to have an all-male staff,

wouldn't go for Tracy.
However, if Tracy proves thatshe has a vendetta against Blake
, then obviously why am I sayingobviously so much today, then I
think it's a no-brainer.
