You must take radical steps to guard your hearts and minds from anything that leads you away from God. Whether it's a habit, relationship, environment, or thought pattern—if it’s pulling you into sin, it has no place in your life, and you must get rid of it.
Hebrews 12:1 says to “lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely.” Sin doesn’t just stain—it entangles, it traps. You are called to freedom, not bondage, so get rid of it.
Holiness requires discipline and sometimes painful decisions. What you surrender in the flesh, you gain in the Spirit. Jesus didn’t die for you to remain entangled in the very things He came to break you free from.
This message is a wake-up call to spiritual surgery—cut off what corrupts, and pursue what purifies. God offers grace not only to forgive sin, but to empower you to overcome it. Choose life. Choose obedience. Choose freedom. Choose to get rid of it.
