I accompany those who aregrieving any kind of loss and I

As we sit down to prayer, let'sthink about something bigger
than ourselves.

Let's think about somethingbigger than ourselves when we go
back to our lives.
Let's see what we can makehappen.
What do we take away from thisprayer and how can we put it
back into the world?

In Mass, we come together forsacred listening with family and
friends, to give thanks for thebounty and the presence of God
in our lives and hope to beworthy of the gifts that we have
been given.
Having opened our hearts to oneanother, we will take the same

feeling back into the world andpractice the open-heartedness
that is necessary for us tocontinue to live fully with
others.
We will take curiosity abouteach other back into the world
with us so that we can continueto wonder.
We will take back a newappreciation for the faith
experience of others.

We will leave behind our doubts.
We will look forward and notbackward at life experiences
that live in a shadowed past.
We will take our hearts backinto the world so that they may
continue to be opened incompassion and love.
Compassion will be what wepractice, lest it become offhand

We will take back trust intothe world so that we may not
lose our marvel in the world andthe humans and the creatures
that inhabit it with us.
We will leave behind our fears.
We will look to the future andsee the possibilities there.

We will learn to lean back intoGod's embrace when we feel
uneasy.
Let Him lead us and direct us.

time and space he needs to bewith us and with those who wish
to travel with Him.
