The Emmy TV series aired on WBBM-TV CBS 2 in Chicago From 1977 to about 2015, where Porterfield interviewed extraordinary people who did incredible work, made everlasting impacts in the world, and overcame many physical hurdles. In this conversation they explore the state of journalism in 2020, covering the pandemic, covering former president trump, and the objectivity journalist must maintain. Even after Porterfield’s retirement in 2015, he stills stays abreast of the news while relaxing and enjoying time at home with his family in Gary, Indiana.
