Hey Friends - episode 13 brings us one of my favourite poets I've come across in the last year and my now very good friend, Helen Seymour!
Helen kicks us off with the best poem about a mammoth you will ever hear before sharing something from her new collection she is working on, then calls a taxi with unexpected consequences and finishes with a rendition of Blue's All Rise that I can only describe as Life-Changing. On any ordinary day I wouldn't be able to keep up with even one of these things but luckily I also brought my A-Game, with a rap that genuinely got me into medical school, a not-so-humblebrag about my knees and a refined version of the toilet seat poem from last week that nobody asked for, as well as revealing the exciting news I promised in Episode 10.
As if that wasn't enough we also had a lovely time cementing a friendship that I have no doubt will span the ages where we cover pertinent issues such as where to look during all of this and what to do if you forget the words. What a time to be alive.
You can find my entire debut rap album from 2009 Here

Here is a cracking Toilet Charity and while we're at it Here is where I buy my toilet paper
Here is a link to my Ko-Fi page where you can donate so that I can pay my guests and spend any leftovers on said toilet paper.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
