Episode #31: End The Game - (Song at 8:42sec) Where did this song come from? What caused me to write these lyrics?  Without giving too much away, sometimes the world can seem a bit too ...intense. The news can be a bit grim. ...that's what can cause artists to sit down and create something that hopefully lifts their spirits - and the great thing is, it has the potential to lift other people too. That's the power of the arts.  Today the weather report would had you believe a deluge was imminent.  I ignored it, grabbed my fishing gear, painting gear and iPad to write my blog post. And ...it was beautiful... Does this seem off topic? Well, it's in keeping with my style on this podcast. We get to where we need to, but there's no rush. There's plenty of humour, observations.. Each episode holds surprises for me as I delve in and explore about The song.. Join me this week, grab a cuppa. Gain an insight into songwriting.. And have a listen to a song as well.  I mention an old house I lived in for a number of years...here's a poem I wrote about it: Peaceful House By the way, I do say in this episode that it's November. I do know it's October..... Sometimes being an artist, it's like being on another planet... Also here's my blog ..www.petepascoe.wordpress.com . You can view the painting I painted this week. Plus there's links to lots of other art ..including how to draw a Cartoon Poodle playing double bass, if you will.. It's a varied life, being an artist and musician... I'm fully committed to this songwriting.  There's plenty more here.  Www.petepascoe.com  As always, the the song start time is in the title. Enjoy!
