Last time, Lucia was on her way to go to the festivities watching the little parade for
Velora, and then someone bumped into her and stole her pocket watch that was gifted to
her.

(09:12):
She's chasing after, yelling after him, Velora hears and gets on her Wyvern Phantom and flies
and stops the guy, lets him run away, but gets the pocket watch back, and they meet,
and Lucia's like, I'm supposed to help you.
I don't know how, but I'm supposed to help you, and Velora's like, ah.

(09:33):

And then they get separated.
And then the ceremony starts, we see Graham Alizon, who's supposed to be Velora's retainer,
but nobody knows that except everyone kind of knows it.
But it's not officially announced yet.
We hang out with the king and the prince and some- met Quincy Garvey, a illegitimate child

of House Garvey, but who has the mark, the Aeon mark of their house, so he gets to go
to Irobrin, and he's going to be coming with us to school.
And then I'm probably going to miss a million details because it's been two weeks, but we
are watching a very long, apparently copyrighted violin performance.

And Lucie had just learned that Valora's not a dragon, so they don't know much about each

And so, Valora, I'm not sorry, Lucie sees a vision of Graham Alouzan, not a noble, but

a rich, rich kid, slapping someone from the Varroa Society, which is basically, she's
basically a maid, like a servant of the king.
The Varroa Society, the lore behind that is they're orphans who are usually taken in from
the war on the eastern border of Inera, and they are given a place in the church and an

opportunity to serve and have a better life, and they're made into really good maids and
butlers, and there's nothing problematic about that at all.
Not at all.
None of it.

They're given a second chance, and they choose to do it.
Yep, they have all the choice.
Anyways, so a girl from the Varroa Society, Lucie sees her, her gets slapped, and so she

rushes in to stop it, and when she rushes in to stop it, Valora hears this and can hear
Graham saying horrible things about, like, do you know who I am, and stuff, and so Valora
gets mad, and she tries to see if he's going to apologize for the, but he's just apologizing
to Valora about it, so she slaps Graham, and doesn't know what to do now because she's

supposed to go on stage and pick her retainer, and she's supposed to bring him at her father's
request, and she liked him well enough, so she was going to say yes.
So she's rushed onto stage by her dad, basically, and she picks Lucia, the pink hair girl.
The girl with the pink hair doesn't know what a retainer is.
The king said yes, and that's where we left off.

And her dad's going to kill me.

no doubt you don't even have to look, but you can feel that there are eyebrows raised
in mystery.
There is intrigue in the air.
Not anyone of status, not anyone of any renown, but a girl and represented by some some godman.

As the applause eventually lifts, as Lucia for the first time, this thunderous, rapturous
