Más de 400 artistas, bandas y disqueras lanzaron el movimiento “No Music for Genocide”, bloqueando su música en Israel como protesta por el genocidio en Gaza. Este acto sólo es un primer paso en respaldo a las demandas del pueblo de Palestina; una de ellas, deslegitimizar a Israel que, en estos momentos, comete genocidio sin mayor problema. El gobierno federal presentó una propuesta para aumentar las cuotas migratorias para quienes buscan residencia temporal o permanente, lo que podría duplicar el costo de estos trámites bajo el argumento de que los extranjeros en México han modificado dinámicas clave: desde la vivienda y el comercio, hasta la gastronomía y los espacios de convivencia.
