(00:00):
Woof! My soul dog's name wasLeoma.
Leoma.
That's a beautiful name.
How, and how did you meet her?

(00:22):
I adopted her when she was sevenyears old.
Seven years old.
Okay.
From a shelter or how did you,or from a family or how did you
go about adopting her?
I had a friend who was running ashelter and there she was.
Yeah.
Okay.
And how did, did you think she,did you pick her or did she pick

(00:43):
you?
Or would you, was it usual?
Well, I, I think, animals pickus, you know, even if it looks
like we pick them.
Okay.
Yeah, I was looking for, I was,I was looking for a small dog
for my other dog, who was also asmall dog.
And, um, Yeah, it happens to beher.

(01:07):
Wonderful, wonderful.
So you had her when she wasseven, how many years did she
live while you, well, like howlong did she live while she was
with you?
Well, I had, I had her for over13 years, so she was over 20
when she left.
Oh my goodness.
Wow.
To have all that extra time, like 13 years, that's.
You know, people usually say, well, don't, don't adopt an old

(01:29):
dog.
You won't have her for long.
Well, I had her for 13 years.
Yes.
And your connection, I'm surekept her going.
One thing that I would just loveto hear is, what was like the
greatest lesson that you learnedfrom her?
Know what you want.
Ooh, I love that.

(01:51):
Was she sassy, or?
Well, I mean, she was achihuahua mix.
Okay.
And chihuahuas basically knowperfectly what they want.
You know, they are the lionsamong the dogs.
They are very small.
Small bodies, but big souls.
Right.
Oh, I love that.
Yes, yes.

(02:12):
And she, she always knew whatshe wanted.
So, yeah, know what you want andthen go after it until you get
it.
Is there anything that you cansay that you went after while
she was with you that sheinspired you to do?
Well, she loved people.

(02:32):
And, um, I mean, I have been ananimal communicator since 2001,
so way before she came to me.
Um, but she really liked tocommunicate with people and, and
people loved her.
So when I taught some coursesand then people got to

(02:54):
communicate with, the animalsand they got to communicate with
her, she was always very, veryhappy to help and communicate
with people.
Ah, so she was, she was anatural connector, it sounds
like, as well.
Yes, yes.
If there were three words thatyou would use to describe her,
what would they be?
Loving, loving and loving.

(03:15):
Ah, that's beautiful.
Okay, and then Is there anyadvice that you would give to
someone who is grieving theirown, their own soul dog?
Especially as an animalcommunicator, is there any tips
or anything that you wouldsuggest that could maybe help
people connect with their souldogs that they lost?

(03:38):
Of course, you have an innategift, right?
And not everybody has that.
But if they're just like, ifthere's any kind of advice just
to help them through thatprocess.
Well, if you feel your animal inyour heart, your animal will
notice that you, you want toconnect with.
Uh, with, with her or him, because it's very important that

(04:05):
we feel it.
A lot of people think about itand science has shown that the
energy that emanates from theheart is 5, 000 times more than
what comes from the brain.
So when people think about theiranimal, they, the animals.

(04:25):
Maybe don't get it.
However, if somebody feels theiranimal in their heart, then the
animal is getting theconnection.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
That makes sense.
So feel your animal in yourheart, even if it has passed
away, it will feel that you arewith it.

(04:45):
Aw, thank you.
Thank you so much for thatadvice.
There anything else that youwould like to share?
Well, we, we, we lived so manydifferent episodes in, each
other's lives.
But one thing that was funny, maybe it's, um, you know, I live
in Switzerland and here inSwitzerland.

(05:06):
Uh, we do need to, or we used tohave to take, uh, an exam with
the dog in order to be able tohave the dog.
So, yes.
So when I adopted her, I wasliving in Spain.
I lived for three and a halfyears in Spain and that's when I
adopted her.
So when we came back toSwitzerland, I had two other

(05:28):
dogs who had been with me inSwitzerland already.
So I didn't have to take anyexam with them.
But I had to take an exam withher.
Does that still happen now?
Like that, that's still apractice?
For some breeds, yes.
But not, not for, not for smallones anymore.
That's fascinating.
So, I told her about the exam.

(05:49):
Now, she was very apprehensiveabout that exam, you know.
Like, she was a little bitscared to take that exam.
And there was this, you know, woman coming to one of my
courses, uh, in animalcommunication.
And during lunch break, we werewalking.
So the dogs, she was walking infront and we were talking and

(06:13):
she tells me that she's a dogtrainer.
And wow.
Yeah.
That moment that she said thatshe was a dog trainer, you must
know I have this telepathicrailway, I call it, you know,
like everything that I hear saygoes out on a telepathic level
as well.
I'm like a telepathic radio.

(06:34):
So she got that.
And that moment she actuallyturned around, walked up to that
woman and stood up on her like, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I want to come with her and do,and do the course with you and
do the exam with you because Ialready know you and I, and
you're a good person.

(06:55):
I like you.
Wow.
And that was so impressivebecause, you know, she was
walking in front You know, andwe were talking, and the moment
she said she was a dog trainer, she turned around, came to her,
and then, yeah.
So we actually did take the examwith her.
Oh, wow.

(07:15):
Oh my gosh.
So she was warming up to her.
She knew.
Woof! Woof!
