My name is Isamir Romero, I'm 29years old and I was in church
since I was a kid, but I, I grewup a, a believer, but at the
same time I was an unbeliever. I had this idea where God has
his elected, his chosen and, andI thought, you know, people who
advance or are well spiritual because they're the chosen ones

and people who are just there and you know, they're just
struggling. Those are the unchosen during
this time frame, I started getting back all of the things
that I would have been freed from before.
So I had a lot of panic attacks.Like for instance, I was in
school and I and I could feel the panic attack coming on.

Or if I in the middle of the night, because I would sometimes
study all night and and I would just get panic attacks.
I wouldn't want to scream and cry at the same time, but I
would just hold it in like my heart would be really fast.
Other times I would get sleep paralysis and sleep paralysis,
it's like when you you feel likeyou're being choked and you

can't move. But it it, it wasn't just that.
During this sleep paralysis, I felt like someone was pulling at
me. So sometimes I felt paralyzed.
I felt like a coldness coming over my body.
Or when I was in my bed, sometimes I would feel like
someone was pulling my legs and sometimes I would wake up and I
would feel like someone was there and, and, and I couldn't,

I couldn't, I couldn't see them,but I felt like someone was
there with me. And that was that was on and off
for several, for several years, like I couldn't just, I couldn't
shake it off. I couldn't not fight them.
I, I would pray. I would, but I just, it, I felt
like my faith was just, I like my prayer was nothing.
And so I, I, I told the pastor what was going on and I didn't,

I don't like to, I didn't reallylike to talk to pastors because
I was like, they're going to judge me.
They're going to tell me this and they're going to tell me
that. So I don't want to tell them.
I'd rather just like, you know, like just handle it.
I was very tired of the sleep paralysis and the panic attack
because I was just a struggle. And so I talked to the pastor

what was going on and he gave meinstructions.
He gave me a little cup of a juice to anoint myself.
It was a purpose that was going on at that time.
And once I started anointing my bed, anointing my head, I just
anointed myself every night it stopped.
And so I haven't had any panic attacks or any sleep paralysis

or any type of attacks that night.
It just stopped. When I went to the pastor, he
didn't judge me. He didn't look at me weird or
anything like that. And I was really embarrassed
because I thought he was going to judge me.
I thought he was going to give me like just like a hard word,
just like a tough love, whatever.
But no, it wasn't like that. He was like totally
comprehensive and and he just, you know, he didn't judge me.

He just listened to me and just gave me advice on what to do and
how to change the situation thatI was going through today.
I can sleep very well. I don't have to, I don't, I
mean, I'm fine. And so now I can sleep pretty
well. I can just like I can close my
eyes and just fall asleep. And before it would take me a
long time to sleep, I, I was always wondering if I was going
(09:05):
to have another of these attacks.
So if you're going through any problems, even if you're in
church and even if you've been along time in church and you're
embarrassed about what people are going to think, what the
pastor might say, I think you should just forget any type of
opinion that might come from, from your problems.
(09:26):
Just forget about it. Just tell the pastor because you
need help. If if you're going through any
kind of problem, you're the one who needs help.
No, like other people's opinionsdon't matter.
You're you matter. So you need to just talk to the
pastor and just let them know what's going on, if there's any
kind of problem, and just believe that you will be free
and God, it's going to give you a second chance.

Right now I want you to prepare your cup of water because we are
going to pray and the Lord will set you free.

Sleep paralysis. You were just a child when you

Your body would feel as if it was frozen and you would be

It was very scary. This finally stopped when you
were in your teenage years, but now that you're an adult, you

have realized that the same sleep paralysis experiences you
had when you were a child came back, but this time it was
worse. This time you were able to
breathe but couldn't feel your body for 30 minutes.
You were frozen, conscious of what was happening, but unable
to get out of this. Sleep paralysis has made you

without resting, without sleeping.
