and you find no relief as you battle spiritual forces that
bombard your mind and emotions and they repeat night after

I used to be like associated with the Santa Muerte and I had
a altar and everything like dedicated to that for about 3
years. And those three years I was just

like on a path of self destruction.
I didn't know what it was or anything, you know, I looked on
my phone and from there I was just like, yeah, I was just
drawn to it for some reason. I was having really bad
nightmares at the time, which iswhy I was drawn to the Santa

Muerte. So I had, I was having really
bad nightmares and I sort of thought, OK, like this can be my
spiritual protection. I would just speak to her.
I would, you know, I had the altar in which I would put
money, I would put alcohol, I'd put crystals like in the shape
of skulls. I'd put music sometimes I would

pretty much just communicate with it.
My life became going downhill sobad.
Yeah, everything got worse, actually, in those prayers.
A lot of family problems, a lot of financial hardships.
My family and I were moving fromplace to place.

My suicidal thoughts, my mental health.
It progressively got worse. My substance abuse issues.
It went from alcohol to drugs. It was immediately right after I
got associated with the Santa Muerte, in which I met somebody
that sold pills. I got addicted to those pills
immediately. I was taking almost like 10 a

day. It was in one occasion in which
I was at work and I overdosed and I had two seizures.
So as soon as I got rid of the Santa Muerte and my altar and
all things associated with my devotion, like my tarot cards,
my crystals that I was using regularly, that's when the

paranormal activity it really begin.
We, my family and I, we started witnessing shadows in our home,
knockings in the middle of the night that would wake us up.
We'd have like terrible sleep paralysis.

So the Universal Church has actually been a part of my life
ever since. Like I was about as young as
four years old and I would always come with my family
members. However, you know, I stopped
coming once I was like about 16 years old and I was fortunate
enough to be able to turn to theUniversal Church once my life

hit the bottom of the barrel. My first steps to deliverance
was my attendance every Friday and Sunday.

And then from there, a few weeksin, I eventually got baptized in
receiving the strong prayers of deliverance and also getting
baptized, the my spirit of addiction, it became numb.
I felt no urge to partake in, you know, drinking and substance

abuse, like miraculously my urgeto always be drunk, always be
high. It it stopped my relationship
with my family. Today.
It definitely progressed. It definitely got better.
I I'm closer to my mother, I'm closer to my grandparents, much
closer to my brothers now. After Melanie was delivered from

all spiritual attacks, she then focused on receiving the Spirit
of God to ensure these evil forces would never return.
I feel like the day that the Holy Spirit came upon me was the
day I got baptized. I immediately felt this light
presence within me. I immediately felt like brand
new again with the Holy Spirit in me, protecting me.

I do not fear anything. I do not fear the paranormal
activity. I do not fear any malicious
energy. I don't fear my own, you know,
anxiety, depression. I do not fear the urge of
addiction to anyone fearing the retaliation or just, you know,

you have any second thoughts of leaving the parent, you know,
like the paranormal life or you know, like your devotion to an
idol. Don't fear, just submit yourself
to God stand strong in your faith and continue persevering.
As long as you submit yourself to God and your life in God's
hands, you have nothing to fear.The people who walked in

darkness like Melanie was in darkness, she has seen a great
light, and those who dwelt like herself in the land of the
shadow of death upon her. Upon them light has shined, and
the light of God will shine uponyour life as well.
