First of all, we needed to understand that it's a spiritual
program. Everybody life has to do some
programs, physical therapies, diet program, they have to
exercise, they have to undergo procedures like sometimes a

purse. You do a blood work and they say
you should not eat 8 hours priorthe the blood work 12 hours day
before no caffeine. We all undergo some processes to
bear our body, our lives. Spiritually speaking, it's the

same. God has brought this fast of
Daniel for those exactly that want to have communion with him,
those who want to improve, to bear their relationship with
God. Because throughout of our day we

(02:29):
have many tasks to do right and more tasks comes.
We have our hands, our plate full, and if we do not watch, we
are going to be busy like Martin, and we are going to end

(02:50):
up praying only twice a day. In the morning.
When you wake up in the evening,when you go to sleep, by the
way, you are already tired, exhausted.
You do that prayer anyhow and you sleep.

(03:12):
In the morning. You are always in a hurry.
You have to rush to work. Then you also pray anyhow before
you eat your meals, you have your meal to eat.
You just say bless Lord and you just dig in.
So it means that due to our busyday, we have not much time for

(03:36):
the Lord. Out of 24 hours we have to sleep
678 hours and we have to work 8 hours.
So what is left for the Lord is nothing the trade one days for
you to give you more and more for the Lord.
Let me talk about the disciples.If you read your Bible on

(04:04):
Matthew chapter 25 Jesus said many parables.
Jesus was always warning his disciple concerning the Kingdom
of heaven. Chapter 25.
He spoke about the parable of the wise and the foolish

(04:24):
virgins. He spoke about the parables of
the talents. The Son of Man will judge the
nations. He was warning, advised them.
Then came the plot to kill Jesus.
Jesus was anointed in Bethany, then Jesus was about to be

(04:50):
betrayed and he was betrayed by Judas.
And Jesus had the Lord's supper with his disciples.
Now Peter denied Jesus. Jesus was predict that Peter

(05:12):
would deny him so all just thinks Jesus word devised them.
What happened was that when he came to the disciples and he
found them sleeping and Jesus said to Peter, what could you

(05:36):
not watch with me one hour? So Peter was sleeping and Jesus
said that he would deny him. He was supposed to be there with
Jesus praise. Jesus said just for one hour and
how many people complain becausethe service in church takes you

(05:57):
an hour? Now they cannot participate of
the service anymore. Jesus said watch and pray lest
you enter into temptation. The Spirit indeed is willing.
The Spirit is more letter. It's your spirit, it's your
mind, like your mind or you are ready to do it, like to do the

(06:25):
first of Daniel. The spirit is willing, but the
flesh is weak. The flesh is weak is weak in a
sense that the flesh is not the spirit.
The flesh always wants the thinks of the flesh.

(06:45):
When comes to the think of the flesh, the flesh is strong, the
flesh is strong for the thinks of the flesh a life of sins, a
life of mistakes, but the Spiritare purses willing to change.
But why not? Because the flesh has been

(07:05):
stronger. Jesus said watch and pray.
This train one day is for you every day to take one hour for
the Lord train one days. Because if you are not involved
with the world, but you are not praying, you are not sick, you
are not reading the Bible, you are not praying to the Holy
Spirit. It seems like you are not doing

(07:28):
the first of Daniel. It will be like a person that
holds a regular fast, but he's just hungry or thirst because
that person is not in spirit of prayers.
Do the right fast, seek the Lord.
He was upset when he said you could not pray with me just to

(07:53):
an hour. You have 24 hours a day, one
hour you could not be with me. Give that hour.
Give that moment for the Lord. What about now when you finish
watch this message and you go toone place in your house or even
in the bathroom to pray to seek the Lord.
