profound. The story of Miss Jeannette, Oh,

my friends, what a story. What a story of suffering.
But I don't want just to talk about her suffering.
I want to say also what a transformation.
This lady by me, she was in prison for 10 years.
Yes, 10 years. Men of the unities, the prisons
(01:32):
she's going to mention in her story, we are based there
because we have the prison ministry that is called the UBB
and we go to prison and I'll be back with you talking more about
the word of God. Prepare 1 cup of water because
we are going to pray together. Jeanette thought she was the

black sheep of her family because out of all her siblings,
she was the only one with a different father.
Her father told her that she wasnot his child.
Because of this, she was hurt and grew up with a lot of anger.
Let us hear now the rest of her story.
I got pregnant when I was 17 andmy mom, she really went off the
(02:18):
wall. She tried to make me whoop my
baby out of me and she didn't like my baby for a minute.
When I was pregnant I didn't have any help.
I had to stop going to school for a while because I had to
take care of her. So I got past that and when I
(02:39):
got 28 I hear it up and moved away out on my own.
But then I went to the wrong menfriend.
The man that I did choose to be with, he was a drug dealer, but
he gave me everything. He took care of me.
I started messing with drugs, heroin.
(03:00):
When I got on the drugs he started beating me, he started
whipping me, he started he started hitting me, physically
abusing me till he said that he was going to mess with my
daughter. The worst experience she ever
faced in her life was when she got into an abusive
relationship. The abuse was already unbearable
(03:24):
and not only was he a drug dealer, but he was also a pimp.
When he mentioned her daughter, the anger and Jeanette overtook
her. And I knew the kind of man he
was and what he was doing to other women.
So he said that he was going to mess with her.
And that image when he was hitting me and I was crawling
(03:47):
and all I could think of was getthe gun.
And I crawled. And when I turned around, he was
sitting, hit me with this bed slack.
And I just closed my eyes and I shot the gun.
When I shot him, when he I, he fell on top of me.
(04:08):
I went to my mom. They called the police.
I went to prison, but they said that it was crime out of
passion. I I, I stay.
I had got 10 years. I did 10 years in prison.
I was on Hobby I and and Neil unit.
We opened that man unit up. I was on Mountain View, I was on
(04:32):
Hilltop Mary, every prison in Gatesville.
They was just because I was, it was a bad influence.
I, I was, I was bad. I didn't want to do what the
officers tell me to do because Iwas used to doing it my way.
And so I would stay locked down.I would fight the officers, I
would lose my life and stuff. And it just got to the point of
(04:57):
where I wanted to see my baby, but I never could see him
because I would lock down all the time.
She served 10 years going from prison to prison, unable to see
her family. When she came out of prison, she
unfortunately went back to doingdrugs, shooting heroin and
cocaine. Due to the drugs in her system,
(05:18):
she suffered from a stroke and became paralyzed on the right
side of her body. It took me a while to walk, it
took me a while to talk, it tookme a while to function.
My face was crooked. I had a lot of rehabilitation to
(05:39):
do, but I didn't have insurance so I didn't have medical help to
get the things that I needed as I couldn't walk.
They told me that I wasn't goingto walk anymore.
I was in a wheelchair, a Walker.I had the things on my legs
(06:02):
because my balance was so off. After having the stroke later
on, she had to admit herself to the hospital where they
diagnosed her with tuberculosis and that was where she found out
about the Universal Church. It found something in my slava
(06:23):
and they were saying that it wasTBTV.
So they sent me to the hospital and I had to stay there until
they find out what it was. So that's when I got introduced
to the Universal Church of browsing through the channel and
I seen the Bishop Joshua on there.
(06:44):
So I flipped it and something just say flip it back.
I went back and I turned it backon, but I turned my back to the
TV and he was like, hey, you. And it was, it scared me.
I started thinking somebody gaveme the room, but it was here.
But he said it three times. So when I turned around he was

pointing and it just I was like,oh Lord.
So that what got my attention and he started naming all of
these ailments, these sickness. And this lady came and she gave
her testimony. And so I called.
I called while I was in the hospital.
I called the number and I told them, I told them whoever I was
(07:26):
talking to that I was in the hospital that day.
Somebody called me from the church and I was like, yes, Sir.
I said, look, I said yes, Sir. He said I'm calling from the
Universal Church and this that and the other.
One phone call changed her wholelife.
The pastor she was speaking withinvited her to come down to the
(07:49):
Universal Church. Although she was using a motor
scooter and a Walker, nothing stopped her from coming.
And sure enough, that day, she received her healing.
So when I got there the Bishop had told me to get up but I was
scared to get up. So I got up with my Walker and
he said leave the Walker. But I was scared because I
(08:12):
paused. I was scared and he said do you
believe? And I was like, yes, he said.
Well, get up. Since all 5 she was like this,
all 5 to move, she depended on this chair.
She could not walk right. Right, right.
(08:33):
She saw one day the TV. She started drinking the water.
Stand up here, please. She doesn't need the Walker.
She doesn't need the cane because the Lord does a complete
job. My life is different.
I used to have chronic pain all throughout my body, all day,
(08:54):
24/7. I'd be hurting.
I don't have any pain anymore. I don't smoke weed anymore.
I don't drink anymore. I'm happy out of my I'm 64 years
old and I never had this much peace.
(09:15):
I have joy. I love myself now.
I don't get angry. I don't.
I had a lot of anger towards people.
When I received the Holy Spirit,I had the assuredness that God
had me, that he had accepted me.I was just so happy.
(09:38):
I was just, it was just, it was just, I can't explain it, but it
was great. It is power in the universal
Church and if you honor God wordand be faithful to Him that He's
going to manifest himself in your life and you going to be
blessed if you come. I have been blessed from day
(10:00):
one, from the time I got introduced to the Universal
Church. God just started working in my
life, in my life, and I am so glad to be a poet of the
Universal Church. You have seen the before and the
after of Missus Jeannette's life.
Today, her life is completely transformed and she is happy.

She's happiness in her life. Her life came through the Holy
Spirit because this lady had 1000 reasons to remain the same.
You heard she's saying that she was rebellious in jail.
She did not want to obey the officers, She did not want to do

their ways, but her ways. She was always in isolation,
segregation. But once she received the Holy
Spirit, she was able to forgive herself, forgive those who hurt
her, and she also was able to become a new person, a happy
person. More than the healing, because

she was she had the stroke, she had crack cocaine addiction.
She was a miserable woman. More than deliverance, the
healing and everything, the freedom from prison, she
received the Holy Spirit. Some people or many people do
not receive the Holy Spirit onlybecause they don't want to

forgive. You don't want to forget your
past. You don't want to forgive those
who hurt you, those who have hurt you.
You don't want to forgive. But I want you, You and me, We
have a conversation, right? Just as one day Miss Jeanette
was watching the TV and I calledher, now I am calling you.

We have a conversation coming closer here.
Why you so far, so far from me? Come close.
Yes, come close. Let us have a frank
conversation. I ask the question and then you,
you answer me, right? I ask and you answer me.

My question is, do you want to be forgiven?
Do you want God to forgive you? I'm pretty sure that the answer
is yes, you want to be forgiven.OK, thanks for your answer.
Now second question, second question, do you forgive or or

have you forgiven those who hurtyou, those who are most
destroyed your life? Have you forgiven your offender,
those who have offended you? It's a tough question, isn't it?
You want to answer, but you don't know the answer because

you know you haven't forgiven them.
Now let us read the scripture. What the Lord Jesus Christ said.
For if you forgive men, men are plural.
They are trespasses. Your heavenly Father, we also
(13:27):
forgive you. So it's given and taken.
You forgive, you are forgiven. Let us read next verse 15.
But if you do not forgive man, they are trespasses.
Neither will your Father forgiveyour trespasses, your sins, your
(13:50):
mistakes. And as you know, we all commit
mistakes. One day somebody asked me why
the Universal Church goes to prison.
We have this prison ministry. We go beyond the bars, beyond
the gates. We locked ourselves up among the
(14:13):
criminals, evil doers, and therewe assisted them.
And somebody was asked me, why do you go to prison?
Why do you work inside of prison?
Those people don't deserve they are serial killers, murderers.
(14:35):
They have raped children, they have killed parents.
They are drug dealers, prostitutes.
They have abused children, they have killed their own children.
Why do you go there? Then I told this person, please
answer me. What do you think?

Why did Jesus save a criminal onthe cross?
He had an option, say hey my friend, you are here because you
deserve. But when one of the criminals,
the robber, turn to Jesus and ask for forgiveness, Jesus right
away forgave him and took him with him to the paradise.

That's the reason why I go to prison.
When I see people like me, Jeanette, whose life was
transformed, I'm very happy, extremely happy.
You know why? Because it is one more life
transformed by the power of God.Now she's no longer on drugs,
she's no longer crippled. She can walk, she's free because

the Lord Jesus Christ has freed the heart.

This person has done has done somany wrong stuff, evil things,
but now this person doesn't knowwhat to do to forgive.
Spirit of the Lord, I ask you right now, call me my father.

Coming, my Lord, and help disperse.
She doesn't forgive for what shedid.
She she has done horrible things.
Prostitution, lesbianism, abortion.
He has been stealing, lying. He has been humanized.

Oh, Lord, and there is this accusation.
Help disperse to forgive himselfand help this person to forgive
others. Give strength, my Lord, they
don't have strength to forgive, but right now they spirit of
forgiveness come upon this purse.
All my friends, I'll give you some minutes to pray.

Talk to him right now and I ask you to pray for that purse.
I know it is not easy, but pray for those who have hurt you,

accident, disperser is in addiction.
