From Thanksgiving straight into Christmas, the transition is fast. How was Thanksgiving? Are you ready for Christmas? Favorite movies, shows, food, we lay it all out there for the season.
The fellas discuss their family traditions during Thanksgiving. Favorite foods, drinks, football,etc etc. They then break down the staples...turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce. Then go down some other dishes that may or may not end up on their table for the big feast.
The fellas welcome in legendary basketball player Kenny Davis, who was named Captian of the U.S. national team in the 1972 Olympics. Kenny tells the story like only he can tell of the infamous gold medal match versus the Russian basketball team that ended in controversy. Kenny also talks about working with guys like Magic and Bird, being a big player in the shoe game with Converse for 40 years.
The Southern Hang fellas welcome in a legend of the indie rock scene. John Darnielle and his band, The Mountain Goats, have been at the epicenter of the scene since the early 2000s.
