She is a barrier breaking master's level, no B.S. licensed professional counselor providing mental health and wellness services to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, foster and adoptive families and formerly incarcerated individuals virtually through her private practice. Shawnnell's private practice is called Choosing Empowerment. She uses the power of choice and healthy relationships to fuel her mission while providing access to her clients. Shawnnell is a speaker, author and leader in her community.
