Beverly (00:00):
Hello.
(00:00):
Welcome back to the Spark andIgnite your marketing podcast.
I am Beverly Cornell, yourmarketing therapist, fairy
godmother of brand clarity andyour guide.
On this magical journey ofbuilding a brand that feels like
home.
I'm also the founder of WickedlyBranded.
We have made it to the lastepisode of The Awakening Your
Brand Magic solo episode series.
(00:21):
This is where I think is themost fun.
This is where you stop hidingand you stop hesitating and you
start to really shine.
Today we are talking all aboutamplifying the brand magic that
you awakened in the firstepisode of the series and then
you activated in the secondepisode of the series.
So if you haven't listened tothose two episodes you should go
(00:41):
back and listen to them becausethis builds on each other.
So this part, I think is whereit gets fun.
This episode is how to getvisible, stay consistent, and
grow in a way that feels exactlylike you.
Not loud, not salesy, notexhausting, but intentional,
(01:03):
magnetic and fully aligned toyou and your business.
Most entrepreneurs hesitate toamplify.
Why?
Let's be honest, this is thepart where most purpose-driven
solopreneurs simply freeze up.
They've done the work to awakentheir spark and their magic,
maybe even activated their brandwith beautiful messaging and
(01:23):
lots of visuals and those greatbrand photo shoot photos.
But now it is time to be seen.
It feels scary and vulnerable.
Like standing on a stage in yourfavorite dress, hoping that no
one critiques the hemline.
And I really understand.
I've had those moments too.
Launching this very podcast, itbrought up every voice in my
(01:47):
head.
Whispering, who do you think youare?
But friend, let me tell yousomething that I have learned.
Visibility is not vanity.
It is service.
When you hide your message, youhide the transformation that
someone else is praying to have.
They're praying for it.
(02:08):
So the truth about visibility, let's kind of reframe this idea
together.
Amplifying your brand magicisn't about doing tiktoks at
midnight if doing a TikTok makesyour skin crawl.
Not really a fan of tiktoks.
I love that TikTok works forsome people, but it doesn't feel
genuine to me.
It's about being where yourpeople are showing up with
(02:30):
consistency and inviting theminto the story that only you can
tell.
So the brand Spark is theawakening, the brand ignite is
the activation, and this part ofthe process, this stage is the
brand blaze.
This is the part where you fuelit and you keep the magic going.
You can't awaken it and activateit and then let it be.
(02:51):
You have to continue to fuel it.
Let's walk through how you cando that without burning out so
you can fan the flames.
We don't want you to burn out.
Okay.
Burnout and exhaustion, butburnout the magic as well.
The first thing I wanna do ischoose aligned visibility
channels.
Not all platforms are yourplatforms.
(03:12):
That is okay.
Ask yourself, where do my dreamclients already hang out?
Where are they scrolling?
What kind of content feelsnatural for me to create?
For me, it's LinkedIn.
I love LinkedIn.
I love participating inLinkedIn.
I love posting on LinkedIn.
That format really works for me.
(03:34):
But if you're like astoryteller, which I feel like
I'm more of a storyteller, maybeit's a blog or a podcast like
this.
If you love conversations, tryLinkedIn or maybe an Instagram
live, and if you're visual tryPinterest, or maybe YouTube is
your jam.
You do not have to beeverywhere.
(03:56):
You just have to be where itmatters for you and for your
particular clients that youlove.
Marketing is not about beingloud.
It is about being clear andconsistent Second thing you can
do to amplify your magic is tocreate consistent story-driven
content.
(04:16):
The secret to momentum is not aviral post.
It would be amazing, don't getme wrong, but it's not the
secret.
It's showing up consistentlywith a message that resonates
being persistent and consistent.
I call it breadcrumb marketing, leaving little pieces of your
(04:36):
heart, your expertise, and yourmagic all over the path that
you've created so that dreamclients, those very, very
favorite people you love to workwith, can find their way to you.
Try rotating between these typesof stories This is your why.
Client transformations, testimonials, and the behind the
(04:57):
scenes kind of content.
Second part is how to's This istips, quick wins, educational
content.
This is Knowledge.
This is informational content.
Then lastly, hot takes.
This is what you believe thatsets you apart.
This is your unique story.
Your journey to get here, yourunique path, how your services
are different, your unique valueproposition.
(05:19):
Talk about those things.
The more you show up, the morefamiliar you become, and
familiarity builds trust.
Trust builds clients.
So we always talk about know, like trust in marketing.
If they get to know you, theyknow you exist, and then they
like your content and then youbuild the trust for them to do
(05:40):
work with you.
Last thing is to systemizewithout losing your soul.
This is where we add somestructure and support to all of
that magic you've awakened.
You wanna schedule your contentin advance using a tool that you
like.
We like Metricool we'll put thelink in the show notes that you
can check out.
But this tool helps us scheduleeverything out, see what's
(06:02):
coming, make sure we've coveredall of our content buckets, make
sure that our social mediamatrix is solid and we've spread
it out across the platforms thatwe post on.
You wanna repurpose your contentacross those platforms.
So a blog or a podcast canbecome quotes, emails and even
social posts.
You want to be able to repurposeeverything.
(06:22):
You wanna batch your contentcreation so you're not always
scrambling if you can do it amonth in advance.
That way you're always a monthout, and if you get sick or
something happens, you're notfreaking out that you have to
get it done.
Plus, once you get in a roll ofit, it becomes more fun and you
get creative and save thatspace.
So schedule it on your calendar.
Maybe it's the first Monday ofevery month, you schedule out
(06:44):
your content.
And then systems.
I just wanna make sure youunderstand, systems are not the
enemy of creativity.
The more systems I have made formyself, the more creative I have
been able to be.
They are the right and leftlimits.
The guardrails that let yourmagic run free.
When you have too many thingshappening, it's too distracting.
(07:05):
It's too much to be able toreally sit in your creativity.
So having these more structuredsystems really allows you to
create content and consistencythat is good for you and your
business.
When your brand has rhythm, yourmessage can become really
unstoppable.
So let me tell you about one ofour clients.
(07:26):
Her name was Tara.
She was a Reiki practitioner andan intuitive coach that I worked
with a few years ago.
She had this amazing spark.
She had beautiful visuals.
She was actually very creative, but she was not getting clients.
Why?
Because she was hiding.
She was posting once every fewweeks with vague quotes.
Her email list was completelyradio silent, and she felt like
(07:47):
showing up meant she wasperforming.
This is not performative.
We sat down during her sessionand I said, Tara, what would it
look like To show up, likeyou're having a conversation
with your future client everyweek, like how you actually talk
in your sessions.
Maybe you put a picture on yourscreen when you're writing the
(08:07):
blog post so that you canactually feel like you're having
that conversation.
And that changed everything forher.
She started writing some reallyraw and loving emails.
She shared Instagram stories ofher morning rituals as a reiki
healer and intuitive coachpractices of meditation and yoga
and restorative therapies.
(08:28):
She offered gentle invitationsto book her monthly energy
resets and her business.
It bloomed.
Not because she was shouting orsaying something didn't feel
right or what everybody else wassaying, but because she showed
up consistently, clearly, andwith her heart.
So let's take a moment and checkin with your brand.
(08:48):
What am I holding back with myvoice right now?
What am I not sharing?
What am I not saying?
Sometimes the tough stuff, thevulnerable stuff is the best
stuff to share because it showswhy you are the perfect person
to guide someone through thistransformation that you offer.
What message do I want to beknown for when people talk about
(09:09):
you?
Oh, Tara.
She's a Reiki healer and she'san intuitive coach.
Oh my gosh, she's amazing.
You should totally check out hermeditations.
What would visibility look likeif it felt joyful and safe for
you?
This is not about pressure.
It is simply about presence.
If this episode struck somethinginside of you.
It felt you know what I neededto hear this today.
(09:31):
