Check out Part 1 of the mini series!

Welcome to Spark & Ignite Your Marketing, the podcast where real conversations meet real strategies. I'm your host, Beverly Cornell, founder and fairy godmother of brand clarity at Wickedly Branded. With over 25 years of experience, I’ve helped hundreds of entrepreneurs awaken their brand magic, attract the right people, and build businesses that light them up.

What if the thing that builds true brand confidence isn’t bold moves, but consistent ones? In Part 2 of our 3-part confidence series, I share why consistency is the magic ingredient behind lasting results, growing visibility, and finally feeling like you're in flow with your marketing. From crickets on social media to momentum in your business, this episode is your permission slip to keep showing up (imperfectly but consistently) because that’s where confidence is truly built.

Three Key  Marketing Topics Discussed:

  1. How Consistency Builds Confidence: Confidence doesn’t appear overnight; it’s constructed through daily actions. I break down how every post, email, or pitch you follow through on becomes a powerful vote for your belief in yourself.
  2. Why Momentum Doesn’t Start Until You Commit: You can’t ride the wave until you’ve built it. I explain how consistent action leads to momentum, and momentum is what makes your marketing (and mindset) feel easier over time.
  3. What to Do When No One Is Watching (Yet): Feeling invisible? That’s exactly when consistency matters most. Learn how to keep showing up even when it feels like no one is paying attention, because that’s when your brand foundation is being built.

Beverly (00:00):
Hello, friend, and welcome back to season five of
Spark Ignite Your Marketingpodcast.
I'm your host, Beverly Cornell, your brand clarity fairy
godmother, and in the firstepisode we talked all about how
clarity is the key.
To unlocking your confidence.
And today we're diving intoconsistency.

(00:20):
So we've got clarity now,consistency.
This is the magic ingredientthat makes it all come together.
Now I know what you're thinking.
Consistency.
Beverly.
Really?
That sounds incredibly boring.
Trust me though, I get it.
But here's the thing.
Consistency is the secret saucebehind every successful
business.
I.
It is the unsung hero that getsyou results without needing to

(00:44):
be perfect every time.
So let's go back to the story ofthe Wizard of Oz, shall we?
The Cowardly Lion didn'tsuddenly gain courage in one big
moment.
It was one small heroic act at atime that transformed him.
It was his consistent bravery.
He faced his fears little bylittle over and over again, and

(01:07):
he didn't wake up one day andbam.
You have all the courage in theworld.
No.
He practiced it.
He built it, and every time heacted, despite his fear, he
built a little bit moreconfidence.
And that is exactly whatconsistency does for you.
It builds your confidence pieceby piece, action by action,
showing you, Hey, I can do this.

(01:29):
Every time you show upconsistently, you are proving to
yourself that you are capable, and the more that you prove it,
the more your confidence grows.
I.
So why does consistency matterwhen it comes to building a
brand, there is no singularmagic moment when everything
simply clicks and starts towork.
You don't wake up one day withthe perfect plan, the perfect

(01:52):
product, and poof, confidencemagically appears.
No.
Consistency is what gets youthere.
Consistency means showing upeven when it's hard, even when
you're not sure if anyone islistening, even when you feel
like you're not seeing theresults yet, that's when you're
building something solid, because consistency is the

(02:12):
foundation that holds everythingtogether and gets you out of
your comfort zone again andagain.
Until the circle of confidencehas grown so much, you can never
go back.
Clarity plus consistency equalsconfidence.
You know that feeling when youpost something on social media
and it doesn't get as many likesas you hoped, or when you send

(02:32):
out an email and it feels likeyou're talking to an empty room,
you hear crickets, and it canfeel really discouraging, right?
But here's where consistencykicks in.
It's the little wins, littlebitty steps that add up to the
big wins.
It's like putting one brick downevery day.
Until you've built thefoundation of your house, you're

(02:55):
not seeing instant results.
Every piece of content, everypost, every email, every action
is part of the bigger picture ofthe home that you are creating
for your business.
The more that you show upconsistently, the more your
audience will start to takenotice.
They'll recognize your voice.

(03:16):
They'll see your message, they'll see your values, and
trust me, the more visible youbecome, the more confident you
will feel.
So how does consistency createmomentum?
Here's where it gets reallygood.
Once you've been showing upconsistently, you'll start to
notice something amazinghappens.
You start building momentum.

(03:37):
Momentum is when things start tofeel effortless.
You no longer have to force itbecause your consistency.
Has created a flow.
You've practiced it enoughtimes.
Now that you know the system, you know what you're supposed to
do.
Things start clicking and yourconfidence builds even more.
And before you know it, you areriding the wave.

(03:57):
So all those little steps islike going up the mountain.
And finally you get to coastdown the mountain because you've
done all that heavy lifting.
All that work to build theconfidence, all that
consistency, all the clarity toget to the top of the mountain.
You get to see what you'veaccomplished, and that
confidence just grows as you getto ride down the mountain and
enjoy all the hard work thatyou've done.
Momentum makes everything feeleasier every time you take an

(04:21):
action, whether it's posting onInstagram, reaching out to a
potential client or launching anew service, you.
are building momentum, and thatmomentum is what propels you
forward in business.
Here is your challenge.
Pick one action that you havebeen avoiding.
Maybe it's posting on socialmedia regularly, or sending out

(04:42):
your newsletter and commit todoing it consistently for the
next week.
It does not have to be perfect.
It just has to be done everytime you show up.
You are building that momentum.
Remember, it's not about doingit all at once.
It's about showing up over andover again, and every small step
that you take, every action thatyou make will get you closer to

(05:03):
where you want to be.
I wanna take a moment right nowand acknowledge that the
consistency you've already shownin your business.
You've made it this far, andthat in itself is worth
celebrating.
It is hard to be a businessowner.
It's hard to be an entrepreneur.
It's hard to do all this stuffby ourselves.
So you've done a lot of work toget here.
But your confidence that youwant, that you need, that you

(05:23):
deserve.
Is built through consistentaction.
And I want you to walk awayknowing that every small step
you take brings you closer tothe vision you have, the goals
you have for your business.
So next part, the last part ofthe three part series on
confidence and clarity.
We'll talk all about momentumand we'll take your confidence
to the next level.
You don't wanna miss it.

(05:45):
Until then, keep showing upconsistently and trust that the
confidence that you are buildingis leading you to bigger and
brighter things.
