I heard the Lord say, “My people need to focus their hearts and minds much more on Who I am, rather than what I do.” If you’re like me, you probably spend too much of your prayer time telling the Lord what you need Him to do and not enough focusing on Who He is. I experienced a breakthrough in my spiritual life when I realized everything he DOES comes forth from the reality of Who He IS. I also discovered that when I learn Who God really is, I better understand who I am in Him. It’s a glorious journey the Lord wants to lead us in together.
