James and I talk about another genre bending rogue-like game Faster than Light, created by Subset Games in 2012. Come with us as we discuss what makes this simple game, more fun than it had any right to be and how the dedication of two programmers made a game that helped define a game genre, along with so many others. 

James and I talk about the survival video game Raft by Redbeet Interactive. We go into the basic game mechanics, what sets this survival game apart from other ones, and what we hope to see from it in the future. James and I jump into the hit anime Demon Slayer. This anime follows the young  Tanjiro Kamado, as he becomes a demon slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps. We go into Tanjiro's motivations and what makes this anime such a pleasure to watch and the few things that we feel could make it better. James and I talk about Bioware's groundbreaking western RPG, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR). We discuss the meaningful way that Bioware set the gold standard for rpgs for the next decade and how it impacted them as a company.  So come with as we chose either light side or dark side in this stunning video game masterpiece. 

Jackie and I go head first into her childhood as we look at Final Fantasy VII, one of her all time favorite games. We jump onto our chocobos and travel the world of Gaia, as we collect materia and meet new allies, in our attempt to save the planet.

Henry (Comic Sauce) and I jump into the amazing stunning film by Edgar Wright, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. We talk about how ground breaking this film was at the time and never really got its just deserts. So come with us as we battle through our Seven Evil Exes and delve into this film. James and I talk about the hit roguelike action role-playing video game, Hades, from Supergiant Games. Do you enjoy playing a mopey son of the Lord of the Underworld and want to get out into the real world? Jackie and I take on her childhood again by looking at the J.K. Rowling's stunning Harry Potter series, starting with the Philosopher's Stone. We delve into this phenomenon, that started out as a small dream and became something that was out of this world. Jackie and I talk about all the amazing themes and narrative choices Ms. Rowling chooses in this book and how much it shaped our childhood.

James and I have done 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, and 100 squats, and a 10 km run in preparation for this episode. We battle through wave after wave of baddies as we approach One Punch Man. Come with us as we slush through the remains of all those who would try and defeat Saitama.

Kelly, James, and I grab our whistles and robot boys, and begin descending into the awe inspiring anime Made in Abyss. This groundbreaking anime by Akihito Tsukushi takes a look at how far someone is willing to push themselves to find the knowledge they seek.
