As you wind down tonight, let this truth anchor your soul: absolutely nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Not fear, not failure, not the heaviness of today or the uncertainty of tomorrow. Romans 8:38–39 reminds us that neither death nor life, angels nor demons, present nor future—nothing in all creation—can disconnect you from His love. Rest in that tonight. You are fully known and still fully loved. No matter how chaotic your day may have been, Jesus Christ remains the constant—His love is unwavering, unshakable, and eternal. Close your eyes knowing you are safe, covered, and held in the arms of your Savior. Sleep peacefully in the truth that His love never lets go.

🌅 Start your mornings with a fresh word from God. 🌙 End your evenings with peace and truth. New devotionals are released every morning and every night to keep you anchored in Christ all day long.

🎧 Replay the affirmations throughout the week to renew your mind and stay aligned with His promises.

SPEAKER_00 (00:01):
Good evening and welcome to Faithful Rest Bedtime
Devotional.
Tonight we're going to bereading out of the Book of
Romans, but before we do that,we are going to do our breathing
exercise to get us relaxed andcalm and ready for the Word of
God.
So what we're going to be doingis we are going to take five

(00:23):
deep breaths in.
We are going to inhale inthrough the nose and exhale out
through the mouth.
So let's begin.
First breath, inhale in throughthe nose and exhale out through
the mouth.
And we're going to inhale inthrough the nose again.

(00:45):
And exhale out through themouth.
And we're going to inhale inthrough the nose again.
And this time as you areexhaling, I want you to focus on
everything that you were doingtoday and just allow it to leave

(01:09):
your body.
All the thoughts, all thestress.
Continue to breathe out untilyou have no breath left.
All right, and now we're goingto inhale in through the nose
again.
And exhale out.
through the mouth.
And this time, as you areexhaling, I want you to become

(01:31):
aware of your body relaxing andthe calmness that you are
feeling that's coming overyourself and continue to breathe
out until you empty yourself ofall the air.
And the last one, inhale inthrough the nose, And exhale out

(01:54):
through the mouth.
And the same thing, just becomeaware of the calmness that
you're feeling as you'reexhaling and just allow it to
come over your body and continueto empty yourself of all the air
that you can.
Okay, so tonight we're going tobe reading out of Romans chapter

(02:17):
8, verses 38 and 39.
And it says, for I am convincedthat neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the
future, nor any powers will beable to separate us from the
love of God that is in ChristJesus our Lord.

(02:41):
So tonight, You know, as yousettle down and this night, you
know, just kicks in and yourbody begins to get tired and you
start to wind down, you know, Ijust want to encourage you to
let this truth comfort youdeeply.
Absolutely nothing can separateyou from the love of God, not

(03:07):
the mistakes you made today.
not the thoughts that you knowkept you anxious or the fear
that you allowed to come in notthe uncertainties of tomorrow
god's love is stronger than yourworst fears and more constant
than your best intentions thatyou could ever even think of

(03:30):
it's not based on you know yourperformance um but on his
unchanging nature you see wewill tend to change our thoughts
our emotions you know um wechange who we hang around um our
jobs everything we're alwaysconstantly seeking for something

(03:52):
better more whereas god neverchanges he is the same always he
always will be the same Sowhether right now you're feeling
close to him, you could befeeling distant right now, you
could be going through a trialand feeling uneasy, but you just

(04:14):
have to know that his love isgoing to remain unshaken,
undeterred, and fully present nomatter what you're going
through.
And his love is not based onIt's a promise that is sealed by
Jesus Christ.
So as you rest tonight, youdon't have to worry about

(04:39):
earning a place with him, earning his love.
You can't.
His love is already naturallygiven to you no matter what.
You already have it.
There's nothing that you can door say that will earn the love
of God.
His love is not the same as thehuman love that we think about.

(05:01):
His love is already anchored forthe simple fact that you are his
creation and he created youbecause he loved you and he
wanted you to begin with.
So tonight, as you go to sleep, lay your burdens down knowing
that his love is alreadysurrounding you and he's already

(05:22):
going to be there with you nomatter what.
And tonight, if you have time tojournal them, you can journal
them.
If not, you can just think aboutthese questions.
What have you allowed today tomake you feel distant from God?
And how does knowing nothing canseparate you from his love

(05:45):
change how you see yourself?
And the last question is, wherecan you let go and trust more in
the consistency of Jesus' love?
So think on those questions and,you know, Before you go to
sleep, if there are places thatyou need to work on, that's a

(06:09):
grand time to invite God in andpray with him.
So just, you know, a closingthought tonight before you go to
bed, just remember God's lovedoesn't fade with the setting
sun.
It stays, it holds, and it neverlets go.
So I hope you have an amazingsleep tonight.
