It's still summer. It's still hot, but we are close enough to fall hunting seasons and cooler weather that we can at least talk about it, dream about it, and report on current news that will affect the upcoming year. and yes, the government is literally asking us to hunt more deer. Check it out! 

It may be the doldrums of a long, hot summer but there is still plenty going on in the world of wildlife. For instance: they culled hundreds of urban geese in Alabama for a disgruntled HOA, Mississippi has new public land, a man in Georgia broke a blue gill record, and what are supposed to think of data centers? check it out!

Summertime is here but do not fret, my friends, there is still plenty to get into and talk about. The Mississippi Alligator hunt draw is upon us, and unbeknownst to us, there is a fair amount of controversy around that process and the hunt itself. There was a new record set for Channel Catfish. Lastly, and the most unsettling news, there was a recent bust of a cockfighting ring in Mississippi. Wild times. Check it out!

One thing is for sure, Neither Jordan or myself are as young as we were when we kicked this podcast off in 2017. The current ailments we find ourselves dealing with are both inconvenient and comical at the same time. However, I heard a wise man once say, it is what it is.
