THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW, MARK & LUKE INCLUDE MANY OF THE SAME STORIES, OFTEN IN SIMILAR SEQUENCE AND IDENTICAL WORDING. THEY CARRY THE SAME STORIES, PARABLES,+ AND EVENTS FROM JESUS' LIFE IN A SIMILAR WAY. JOHN CONTENT IS LARGELY DISTINCT AND DIFFERENT. JOHN DOES NOT CARRY THE BIRTH STORY OF JESUS. JOHN RECORDS JESUS' TEACHING ON A THEOLOGICAL LEVEL.. JOHN IS TRYING TO GET THE MESSAGE ACROSS THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, THAT THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELLED AMONG US. JOHN WANTED HIS READERS TO KNOW WHO JESUS IS AND TO BELIEVE IN HIM AS HE IS. . JOHN GOPSEL WAS WRITTEN TO A DIVERSE AUDIENCE. JESUS' MINISTRY LASTED THREE YEARS
TEACHING THROUGHOUT JUDEA AND SAMARIA, TEACHING IN SIMPLE LANGUAGE USING PARABLES, WHICH WAS EASIER FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND. THROUGHOUT THE REGION HE HEALED, OPENED THE EYES OF HE BLIND AND CAST OUT DEMONS. THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEES DISPISED HIM BECAUSE HE TEACHES WITH AUTHORITY AND HE WAS POPULAR AMONG THE PEOPLE. JESUS LOVED ALL PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THE POOR, SUFFERING LOWLY , WIDOWS, STRANGERS, AND ORPHANS. HIS CENTRAL MESSAGE WAS ABOUT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
