GALATIANS 3:22 SAID THAT THE LAW "IMPRISONED EVERYTHING UNDER SIN" SO IF YOU HAVE SIN THE LAW HAS YOU HELD CAPTIVE. THE LAW SERVED AS OUR GUARDIAN UNTIL CHRIST CAME, SO THAT WE MIGHT BE PREPARED FOR THE FAITH THAT WAS TO COME. THE LAW WAS GIVEN TO PREPARE GOD'S PEOPLE FOR THE COMING MESSIAH. CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW. . THE LAW REVEALED SIN BUT LEFT NO WAY NO WAY OUT FOR THE PEOPLE UNTIL JESUS CHRIST CAME TO FULFILL THE LAW AND PROVIDE SALVATION. . THE MOSAIC LAW SHOWS THAT WE NEED THE SUBSTITUTIONARY SACRIFICE. THE LAW TELLS US THAT WE NEED JESUS TO ATONE FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD. THE LAW LEAD US TO CHRIST WHERE WE ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE GRACE AND MERCY.. THE LAW WAS ONLY A FORESHADOWING TO THE COMING OF CHRIST.
