In this inaugural episode of Speaking Globally, host Major Gen (Ret) Walter Givhan introduces himself and speaks with Lt. Gen (Ret) John Bradley of the Lamia Afghan Foundation.
Bradley distinguished himself in war and peace as a courageous and compassionate leader. During his 41 years of service in the Air Force, Bradley served as Commander of the United States Air Force Reserve Command and flew fighter aircraft, including 337 combat missions in Vietnam.
In 2008 Bradley and his wife Jan founded the Lamia Afghan foundation after a fateful meeting with an Afghan girl who exemplified the spark and promise of equal opportunity in the country.
